Of course, she's like "Is everything okay?" That makes me worried. I'm thinking that maybe my unit caught on fire or I've been robbed. No. It's because my payment is 48 hours late. Give me a break! I mean, that's all? I'll just pay it online. I asked them not to harass my mother the next time. They said it was part of their policy.

I unloaded the second tank and waited for a bit but since no one come out I hit the button again. A guy stuck his head out the door and rudely said "it's going to be a bit before I can help you" I wasn't in a big hurry so I waited. About 10 minutes went by. He came outside this time. And again said it was going to be a bit before he could help me due to problems he was having inside. He didn't seem like he wanted to help me so I started loading up my propane tanks. Just as I finished he cam out again and saw that I was leaving and said "Good, go someplace else " That guy was the rudest person I have had to deal with that I can ever remember. U Haul didn't want my business and will never get it again. Yes I will go someplace else and never spend my money there again. I hope nobody else does either!

Their employees don't tell you vital…read moreinformation, like the time you pick up the truck is the same time u have to drop it off at. I set my time on it as a 5pm drop off when i did the pre-rental equipment verification and they said no it was supposed to be 10AM and tried to charge me an extra $33! Not only was the truck filthy(floor was like a gravel pit with pick flossers all over the floor) when i picked it up but i cleaned it and they had the nerve to charge me a $50 cleaning fee too! That fee should run on the person before me and they should have cleaned the truck up before they rent it out somebody else. I was taking gravel out of my shoes for days! Also, their communication skills are nonexistent. One time when I was on the phone with them I asked them a question and didn't hear them typing or hear them say OK let me look it up or anything. it just went dead silence so I asked again and they said hold on (very impatiently annoyed sounding and rude) I'm looking at it. Well I'm on the phone I can't see that you're looking at you've got to say something! They're just playing a bunch of idiots and they look forward to screwing people over. I will NEVER use their service again and I do not recommend them to anyone. I've never met a morr incompetent group of people under 1 roof and i stayed at the shelter last year!

They said they only have one minivan to rent and it was out on another rental and they didn't know when it would be back. They told me to find go to another rental car company. They promised to refund all my money but didn't. I had to submit a dispute with AMEX to get my money back. As far as I can tell, this is local franchise is a poorly run business. Never again!

In February, we rented an outside storage space from the "Storage Place" on 3rd Ave. I believe they…read morealso have an office on King Ave. We needed somewhere to park our brand new (2019) Aero cargo trailer that has never been pulled further than 20 miles. We were assured we were making a good choice as there was cameras, gates, and 24/hr locks. Last night, 4/12/2019, we went to pick up the trailer. Upon arrival we noticed right away the trailer had been moved over, and there was a new camper very close to the trailer. Upon inspection, we found that there was a ball hitch in the trailer's hitch, which should not have happened as the hitch was locked. Someone had "hit" the lock to get the new ball hitch in, and broke the lock, but still couldn't get the ball hitch off so LEFT IT ATTACHED TO THE HITCH. The jack stand on the trailer was broken in two. The bottom part was thrown underneath the trailer, and some pallets had been piled under there alone with some boards to keep it from falling. The cable for the lights was pitched and pinned underneath these pallets. This was obviously not the work of a thief, as they would have just stolen the entire trailer. I requested Andy, who is supposedly the manager at the storage place, to reimburse me for a new jack ($84) and a lock ($12). He told me "there's nothing he can do and he just walked through there yesterday and it was fine", and then harped on me for not purchasing THEIR insurance. We have insurance. It has a $500 deductible which would have been conducive with theft, loss, and damage that would have been "accidental" but a broken lock and a broken jack to "move the trailer over" was the LEAST we expected, because we were told the trailer was secure. As for his cameras, he NOW tells me that "he doesn't think the place where the trailers are parked are close enough for the motion detector to set off the cameras" which is quite funny as he was reassuring when we rented the space that the cameras were there for THAT PURPOSE, to secure our (and other renter's) items. I'd be very wary before I rented any spaces at all from the Storage Place in Billings, MT.

extremely unprofessional. When we signed our paper work for our unit we told the secretary we…read morewould be back in a day or two to put our stuff in our new unit so it would temporarily be empty. When my husband and I came back we had drove from Laurel in the rain with our belongings loaded in two different vehicles thinking it would only be short term to find that they had put a lock back on our unit without contacting us first so we had no way of being able to quickly put our stuff away and there was absolutely no one for me to get ahold of in an emergency to get the lock they had put on our door off. I attempted to contacted the manager about this and he insisted the next day "he at least, tells all of their tenants that they lock their units back up if by the evening no one has put anything in them" Well we didn't have him! We had been told we could come back whenever; it was our unit. The next issue is not being allowed in to access your own belongings after 9pm. We all know how moving goes when you're working. Late nights. So this is another giant inconvenience. Needless to say we won't be storing there again.

Since Ms Karen Hutt didn't leave a way for me to contact her I'll rebut her little response to me…read moreright here. It just shows the lack of customer service this place has. She can't call my review fake because I have over a 100 well-written reviews so she tries to attack my integrity. First, your man addressed me by the wrong name. He got called out for it. Not to mention 3 days later after my first interaction he did it again twice to me . So I was annoyed with him. I let y'all know and you want to attack me on Yelp instead of contacting me? Your guy just kept trying to go on with his scripted responses. Yeah I sent you the transcript because I got nothing to hide. Was I gruff towards him? Yup. Doesn't excuse his behavior. I've been a sales rep and a sales force manager in my career. From your response I can see where David learned his lack of customer service, his inability to take care of the customer, and most importantly how not to piss off your client. Ms. Hutt, You're a poor excuse for a Manager. I'm assuming you own this company because if not I dont believe an owner would allow you to stay employed with their firm let alone reside as President of said company. If anyone needs more proof of how bad this company is go to the Better Business Bureau's web site and read the accusations of false promises, poor customer service, extortion and fraud. Remember Ms Hutt, Take care of your customer and if you can't do that at the very least dont piss them off. I hope you enjoy my reviews on other websites. Spoiler Alert****They're not going to be good either

Let me start off with saying I wished I had read a few of the reviews here…read more Again, super friendly people but they don't treally move anything, they broker services. After multiple back and forths with their "estimator" they sent a local moving company "Cheetah Movers" who promptly ripped the screen door off the hinges, literally. Then the quote jumped after they got the truck loaded and still hadn't touched almost half our stuff and told me we could rent our own Uhaul or pay them about $7000 more to send a second truck and move it all. They promised disassembly and reassembly at the other end. One reason they ran out of room was nothing was disassembled before it was loaded. Our household effects finally made it to Texas. I had advised Cheetah they would need a shuttle truck to deliver it to our house. The driver called and stated he had 2 more drop off before us. Effectively giving us about 6 hours notice. I asked if he had arranged for the shuttle, he stated he wasn't told he needed one. Apparently his plans changed and with an hours notice he called and asked me to go pick up a Uhaul. I'm in east Texas, local Uhauls are closed on the weekend with the closest open being 40 minutes away. In a town he had to pass through to get here. I called him back and advised him of that. Several hours later he called and stated he couldn't make the delivery. He was driving a lowboy and couldn't get closer than 22 miles to our property. Turns out he was going the wrong way and was 6 miles away. A local couple stopped and asked him if they needed help. Thank God or we'd still be unloading. I had to use my own trailer to make runs and they dropped off everything willy nilly and assembled nothing. The drivers parntner was worthless. Drove the Uhaul and not much else. Our "quote" ended up doubling. Felt like we were extorted every step of the way. Thank God we won't be moving again. I would recommend you get a real moving company, can't be any more expensive.
