Great service, jumped right on my truck issues, ordered parts and scheduled promptly when they arrived.

We bought an RV--a Winnebago View on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis--and we lovingly named it…read more"Wombat." We adore the little tank, like seriously, to death. Then, for the last two weeks, Wombat and I got into a real toxic relationship with the onboard "good vibes" system. We went to Mercedes twice. Same story both times: a bunch of charging, a bunch of "we'll look into it," and absolutely no real solution--just money leaving the building at warp speed. So I convinced my hubby: "No more Mercedes." He agreed, and we went private. He found Quinn at European Performance. Quinn promised us a diagnostic on the DEF for free--which, naturally, my husband grabbed like it was a limited-edition coupon that might disappear. Mercedes in Billings wanted 2.5 times what everyone else was charging, so even the savings felt emotional. We pulled in, and before I could finish my seatbelt rant, Quinn had Wombat backed out and connected up. He ran diagnostics fast--like, "where did the time go?" fast. And here's the plot twist: the problem wasn't some rare unicorn issue. It was stuff that's extremely common on the Sprinter chassis... the kind that apparently no one can find or fix consistently. Fun, right? Quinn worked some magic, we got it sorted, and now Wombat is back to being the road-loving weirdo we know and love--no more drama, no more countdown, no more mystery warnings. So if your Sprinter chassis is throwing a fit go see Quinn. He'll get you back on the road without the repeat crash-and-paycycle. Wombat says thank you. And honestly? So do we.

Yeah, so, I have been told quite a few times not to go through these guys. The whole time I stood…read moreby them and were like "no, they are awesome.". Unfortunately, I have to say something because wow... I have taken my car in to these guys and they have done a good job fixing the things that I have paid for them to replace. However; here's the upsetting part... I took my car into them 3 times in a row telling them "it's running funny", "it's acting weird", etc. I also give them a little info... "while I was out of town I changed the spark plugs myself. You might want to start there, in case I did something wrong as I am not certified but they are. They assured me it wasn't the problem. They even said "It was driving fine, no issue." and to "keep driving it around until something popped up on the dashboard". Love that for me. Even told me that it "sounds" like and is "probably" a piston ring which would be a $8,000 fix. Went on a 1,000 mile (one way) road trip it almost gave out 35 miles before the destination. Thank you to new friends, I knew someone to help me. 15 minutes later... he SHOWED me that I, in fact, had forgotten to tighten my spark plugs. Also, thank you to my friends... even after pushing the car as much as I had... with a little bit of cleaning and proper putting it back together... compression test was perfect and she was running like normal. Beats $8,000 motor replacement... just saying.

I left my vehicle for almost six weeks. I called every week and he claimed he was working on it…read more When I stopped by unannounced I found my vehicle untouched. Had to pay to have it towed elsewhere where it was fixed within two days.

I don't even know where to start with my review on Jerry. We took my Engine to him well over a year…read moreago to have it bored, resurfaced, and full head job. It was promised by him to be done mid February. Well after excuse after excuse and him making next to no progress on any of the work, after he had lost his temper with me on the phone cussing and yelling and telling me I brought him junk and Jerry hanging up on me multiple times I finally lost my cool today. I stayed very professional with him and told him we would be picking up the engine this coming Wednesday and the only thing I needed him to finish was the second head that he had yet to even start on, he cussed and yelled and told me I am not his priority and he will call me when it's done and until then don't contact him and he hung up again. So I called back and told him I'd be there today to pick everything up unfinished. His response was bring the full amount of money we had discussed, I professionally told him I did not think that was fair because of the timeframe he'd taken up (over a year) and the work not being completed. I asked if we could talk calmly and meet in the middle. He then told me I have nothing into this engine and have lost nothing and to bring the full amount or don't come at all and hung up on me. (Keep in mind I've spent about $12,600 on this block) so after being degraded, cussed at, and hung up on many times I was done. I contacted the sheriff's department to ask my rights and what I could and couldn't do to retrieve my engine. I was informed that my block was worth more than what he thought I owed so I was allowed to go pay him what I thought was fair and take the engine and let him take me to court for the remaining balance. So I showed up to get my engine and he said pay me in full or leave now. So I had to have a sheriff come out to his shop and Jerry even yelled at and was very unprofessional to the officer that responded. After Jerry spoke with the officer he decided $100 less than full price was okay and he'd let me take it for that amount. At this point I knew some work was left to be done and I wanted to move on so I paid that amount and took all my parts and left. After I got home and was closely inspecting the work done, which I had seen in the past month but no progress had been made in the last month, it came to my attention that since it had not been worked on in the last month and since I'd seen it last, there was now major damage to the top of the cylinder deck and a large chip taken out of the cylinder and massive scratches. So now the block has to also be taken to a new machine shop to be resurfaced (again) and the heads finished. There is also a very great chance that with the chip taken out of the cylinder the block may now not be usable and most likely will have to be replaced. He was also about to totally reassemble the block with all of my brand new parts which was his next step not including the heads being finished, and my brand new crank rods and bearings are 100% coated in metal shavings which is pictured below, if I actually allowed him to reassemble my block it would have blown itself up from the metal shavings alone that he left in my block and on my parts, and thats not even taking into consideration of the other damages he had caused and planned to not inform me about.. I could go on about the issues I've dealt with because of Jerry and I have documentation and proof of everything that he has done and not done. I've never felt so taken advantage of and screwed over in my life. All I can say is please please save yourself a headache and never take your business to Jerry at Robert's Repair. He doesn't care about you or any work you need done.
