Contacted Bish's for an insurance estimate on hail damage. In the beginning they were in constant contact, nearly every day. All estimates were conducted via virtual meetings and communications were text and email. They submitted their estimate with supplement to our insurance. For some reason our insurance sent Bish's the check for the supplement at this point Bish's hadn't done any work and were not in possession of the camper. Over the last four weeks I attempted multiple times to contact Bish's regarding steps forward etc. I never again heard from them once and still haven't as of today. I contacted our insurance company who stopped payment on the check. Very disappointed in Bish's and the whole experience. read more

The trailer buying experience was great, but their maintenance service is terrible. They apparently don't have the capability to keep me updated on the work being done, and they've had the trailer for over 3 weeks. They also don't have the capacity to answer the phone or return calls or emails. I had to physically go out and speak to them in person and they still didn't know what the status was. If I had known it would be this bad, I probably wouldn't have bought my trailer from them. read more

Bish's charges $249 an hour for labor, the highest price anywhere around. You might think they are so good at what they do that they can charge nearly $100 more per hour than their competitors, but they are clueless. Just keep reading if you want to know the reality of this establishment. I was traveling in the area and lost my awning in a freak accident at a car wash. So, I needed a new one and needed it installed too. So, I contacted Mike at Bish, who claimed to be the service advisor - I later found out he was just the new parts department cashier. Well, Mike told me he had ordered all the parts, but even after several weeks of waiting he would not show me the order or give me an estimated time of arrival for the parts. In addition, when I asked him if $249 per hour was the customary rate in Billings, he looked me straight in the eye and lied - my insurance advisor, who works with all facilities no the area, told me he has never paid more than $149 per hour. Meanwhile,after camping out in the mountains for nearly five weeks waiting on the parts, I received a call from the actual service manager, Dean, on Labor Day. He said the parts were in, they were open for business, and that I should drive the 160-miles to get the awning installed that day. To make a long story short, after driving all that way, my RV wasn't in the shop for more than five minutes before Dean informed me that the wrong parts had been ordered. What a total screw-up... not only did I not get the awning installed,but now I had to drive 160-miles back to my campsite, for a 320-mile round trip. So, bottom line is, these guys wouldn't know good customer service if it hit em in the head. I would give them a negative rating if that were possible. read more

The service department is AWESOME!! We were on our way to Glacier NP, and we had no breaks. The service dept. checked our brakes, and there were a few problems. They ordered the parts, installed them and got us back on the road. It took a few days, but we thought it was going to be longer! We appreciate their dedication to us as customers! Just a couple of young kids trying to buy their first camper together. I highly recommend this RV dealer they were so helpful even with our worst circumstance. They made sure we were taken care of and that we were informed about everything going on in the situation we had at hand. In the end we ended up with an amazing camper and a new family. When we went looking for an RV a couple of years ago, we called Bob at the Billings store. He helped us find what we thought was our dream fifth-wheel. One year later we realized that we made a huge mistake, because our fifth-wheel developed frame issues and was going to cost tens of thousands of dollars to repair. The manufacturer refused to stand by their product - but Big Sky RV stood up for us. They offered us a few options, one of which was to get a new trailer at a deep discount and taking our broken one in trade. They recommend the brand we have now. We love our new fifth-wheel and have had very few problems with it. When we do Kelsie and the rest of the staff have done their best to fix the problem or find a solution that hasn't cost us an arm and a leg. We live in our fifth-wheel full time and are on a fixed income so all their help is greatly appreciated.
