I liked that the food was separated so it didn't make anything soggy. The food was good - potatoes/mushroom/onion/cheese mix was nicely seasoned. Cora's always been my favourite spot for dine-in breakfast, but not this time, it could be due to takeout vs dine in, but even the portions were too little, french toast was so saggy and tasteless! I have been a dedicated fan to this location since the start of summer -- the employees are pleasant and the facility is clean, service is efficient and the food is delicious. Unfortunately, I was here the past weekend, and something really irked me: I would have given a 5/5 stars, but the 4 is from this one recent experience. The waitress that we had waiting our table was okay -- not super happy to be there, which is totally fine. The first hiccup was no crayons for our son -- why did we have to ask for crayons (which is always automatic when they hand a kids' menu), when you could have just been upfront and said that there was none available? Secondly, we were still eating -- and she comes over with the bill and asks if we would like to settle up. Thinking that it was the end of her shift, we said sure, and proceeded to tip her quite well. We then soon realized that it was not the end of her shift because she then started serving the table behind us in her section. Still drinking coffee and eating, we had to ask her for a refill. Lastly, it is noticeable that the fruit portions are getting smaller -- we go to Cora's for the plentiful fruits, and we get that it is inflation and businesses are hit hard, but when you are charging high prices for your items, there should be a decent portion... read more

I've been a long time customer of Cora's and for a good reason: their menu items has always been consistent and exceptional. HOWEVER, after visiting this specific location twice in the last 2 months, I can solidly say I will NOT be returning to this one. My first visit to this location was at most a 3 star experience. Our server was great, and paid attention to our requests. The food, especially the presentation which is SUCH an important aspect of Cora's beautiful presentation, was quite mediocre. Ie. Some of the fruits were obviously not fresh, like the pears browning at the edges or the tips of the grapes kinda soggy. We still gave a great tip because of our server. The second time we came here was the last straw for us. We were seated at the left side of the restaurant, the smaller area, since we had a baby stroller. First off, one of the servers there were new and was the one that set the table for us. She wiped the tables but there were still crumbs there when we went over. BEFORE we even sat down, we noticed the floor was EXTREMELY dirty. There were grapes smashed under the table, it was super sticky, a butter foil stuck on the floor, and even a napkin there?? It literally looked like a dirty food court. There were 2 servers that set up our table and BOTH decided to neglect that. Seeing that we had a baby sitting there, I had to ask one of them to clean it up. The petite blond server nodded without saying anything and returned with her broom to clean things up. She looked like she obviously did not want to do it, but in that case... why are you here? Onto the food. The fruits... why... why would you serve near rotting fruits to your customers when that is one of the selling points of your restaurant. The grapes were starting to mold. The apples and pears were DRY and BROWNING. The kiwi was SO ripe it was literally turning into mush. Again, the only good thing was our server. Which was coincidentally the same one we got last time. My mother and I went to Cora's today for breakfast. This restaurant is your standard breakfast/brunch type diner. The decor is colourful but not too remarkable. The atmosphere is busy and buzzing. Normally this restaurant has a lengthy wait time but due to the weather, we were lucky enough to get our table right away. Our server was very friendly but neglected to bring us any water during our meal. At the end of the meal she asked if we wanted water but it was too late at that point. We had a cappuccino and a latte, both of which tasted good. My mother had the GiGi omelette and I had the strawberry French toast (with gluten free bread). Even though the French toast wasn't part of the "gluten sensitive" options, the restaurant was willing to make it with their gluten-free bread. It was nothing special but tasted pretty good. It satisfied my sweet tooth. The GiGi omelette was tasty, filled with healthy options and packed with taste. It came with a side of fresh fruit (tons of banana, strawberries, kiwi, oranges and strawberries). Overall, our meal was decent but nothing to write home about. The best part of dining at Cora's is grabbing a piece of toffee on your way out. They always have a bowl of fresh toffees right by the door and I recommending trying them! read more

Staff are extremely friendly here and the portions are large, filling food. I had the Mexican crepes with potatoes, my lunch date from work wanted to go with a breakfast dish, of course! Price wise, it's definitely Cora's isn't a place that you would call a hidden gem. Some of their plates can get to about $20 with tax, which is a bit for brunch. read more

Cora's is different than all other breakfast places. The menu has so many fun and different options with lots of healthy ones as well. Today we were served by Jacqueline and she was very friendly and right on the ball. Couldn't ask for a better server. I had poached eggs with fruit and my husband had a huge breakfast. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the potato wedges coated and crispy and fruit was the best! They even asked if there was a particular fruit I did not like so they could make sure I did not get any. The ending of the meal was just as great as they give you nice pieces of homemade fudge when you leave. Awesome and definitely highly recommend Cora's! read more

This location is the best I've been to. The portions are large and the service is personable. I've been here a couple of times, and the taste and quality of food has been pretty consistent. The wait time to be seated isn't as ridiculous as some of the other locations, and there seems to be more elderly people here than small kids. Tip: Take note when your waiter asks if you want add-ons with your dish (ie. sauteed mushrooms, cottage cheese..etc) because they don't specify it's for an additional cost. When they take your order, they ALWAYS ask you if you want add-ons. I was stupid to assume it was included in the price of my meal. read more

Huge buzz about this place. From its humble beginnings in Montreal to its monstrous lines that circle every location, Cora's has hit the big time with the success this franchise carries and the long lines that ensue, even in the suburbs, I was excited to try Cora's. Sadly, I left disappointed. Something was just missing. There was no charm, no finesse, no umph! You need that umph especially if it's for brunch. Brunch places should have the ability to kick your ass and jump start you towards your day or at least have you look forward to doing a slow nothing. I want my face blown off with great crepes, omelets, and Benedicts that were all present but they didn't live up to the Cora's hype. It was all text book. Crepes were lifeless, omelets were huge but missed the mark on flavor, and the Hollandaise was just.... average! It's not that Cora's wasn't good, it just wasn't great and definitely wasn't worth the insane line. Staff was nice and worked as quick as they could but you can sometimes see they are rushed, understandably so as there is a huge line out the door with cranky people that have yet to eat all day. This is definitely not a place where you can sit around and talk for a bit after your brunch as a voodoo curse will be dispelled against you to make you move. I look at this place like a slow fast food restaurant. Yeah, the food is fresh, unlike fast food, but you eat and then you get kicked out. No time to enjoy this place, we need those tables or the Italian lady in the mink is gonna beat you with the complimentary fudge by the front door. Decor is something else. Lots of paint on the walls of awkward cartoon characters and dish names all over. It was like eating in a toddlers room that had free reign with his crayons and only knew how to spell names of brunch dishes. Besides the paint the decor isn't anything memorable. Normal tables, banquettes, and chairs.... is there such a thing as Normal tables, banquettes, and chairs? There is now and you can find them at Cora's. Overall, brunch here was good. Service was relatively quick, considering the packed house, and food was fresh. I did enjoy how the fruit was cut into shapes but I'm a child at heart. Apple stars are cool no matter where you're from and if you don't like them, tell me and I will help you look for your soul. Food was good and prices were just a tad expensive for what you get but you will leave full as the portions are huge. The wait is dreadful, even in the dead of winter people come here and line up outside. I just don't think it is worth the wait and hassle but being Richmond Hill, your options are slim. read more

I came to Cora's on Saturday with my family and was immediately greeted by the staff. We were sat almost instantly with very little wait time and were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the restaurant. Our server Michelle quickly gave us our drinks to start with consisting with various fruit smoothies. While waiting for our meals the server had brought us toast and jam. I had ordered the "Louis the undecided" which was beautifully plated with potatoes. Had the nicest waitress who was very patient and generous and had brightly colored hair (green and blue if I remember correctly). The menu is huge and all the dishes have fun, creative names. They've got all the standards: eggs benedict, waffles, etc. Had the French toast with bacon and potatoes plus a kale smoothie. The food is fresh and delicious (but could have gone for more French toast than potatoes). The large restaurant was very busy for Sunday brunch with families and groups of friends. When I could enjoy breakfast's out, my girlfriend and I would hit up places like Wimpy's and Cora's. Specifically, the line at Cora's can be brutal, seating is awkward at times, and is it just me or is the table with 4-6 elderly people always there no matter what time of day I show up, and always on a perfect angle to watch us eat, making it feel like I'm 3 years old again. Anyways, what really gets me, and I can't quite put my finger on it, is that Cora's gives everyone I know the runs. Be sure to find a great washroom to plan your bum on for the next 3 hours after you eat. read more

Came here once and was really not impressed. It was neither busy(maybe two other tables) nor exceptionally early, but we waited at least a half hour for our food. We're not talking a feast, here - just three meals. I ordered the Raspberry 4 Lucie, which did not live up to my expectations. I felt like I was eating less of a crepe and more of a block of cream cheese with a breakfast pastry wrapped around it as an afterthought. That's basically what I remember most about the experience: the cream cheese was absolutely overwhelming. For the $10 I paid, I feel like I definitely have the right to complain about this. Cora is for people who want to get quantity and NOT quality food. The coffee taste horrible, if I can describe it I would say it tasted like stale plastic. I even asked the waiter to changed it and the second cup tasted the same. I cannot same much for the food either, I had a couple of eggs and it tasted like slough, prison food (from what I imagine prison food would taste like). The service was great too! read more
