Good customer service. Unfortunately the food was not tasty. Even the coffee was blaaaah.

Fruits are always good at coras but potatoes not so much. Said it would be done in 10 mins from when we placed the pick up order, and yea definitely took less than 10 minutes to whip these potatoes up But- We cooked up the potatoes and made them better It's a pandemic I understand restaurants and small business going through it at the moment so it's alright

Cora is a nice spot for brunch, with nice bright lighting and friendly atmosphere. However, the food isn't really special and the service is moderate as well. We came in on a Sunday, which tends to be packed. They seemed to be quite understaffed and took a while to clear tables and bring people in. We sat down to order and it took a while to flag down someone again after they brought us water. The food also took quite a while to come out. After about 30 mins, our food arrived. I got the "1990's Harvest" and the raisin bread was lukewarm and a bit soggy. It still tasted fine with the fruit and bacon, but I was a little disappointed. Overall, it may have been the day we went that affected the service. The food honestly wasn't very special and quite pricey for what it was. I probably won't return for breakfast or brunch, but maybe I'll come back to try their lunch.

This is my FAVOURITE Cora's location. Why? The staff & service. But first, food wise? I honestly am not a fan of the restaurant lol, but that's just because I'm vegetarian. There was VERY FEW options. & if you order a "normal" meal, they won't substitute the meat with like, another egg, or something. & it will cost you the same to remove meat (which I know most places do & it drives me crazy). I only ever order the waffles, & this is the ONLY place I go to for waffles. So I do love it. Anyways, I love this location! I live WAY closer to the york mills location, but will always drive out to this Scarborough one simply because of the incredible service. The staff are attentive, welcoming & seem happy. Management, keep doing what you're doing. Because you're doing something right!

My family and friends love Cora and it's our go to spot for breakfast when extended family come to visit Toronto. The staff at this location make the whole experience so much better as we are always greeted by a friendly and enthusiastic worker every single time we go there. The food, itself, is pretty standard to most western breakfast spots but the bonus is the fresh fruit they give you on the side and the big basket of bread you get as well. My family usually orders their Spinach and Cheddar Omelette (very cheesy and savory), Cora's Special (big platter of the normal, savory breakfast items) and my personal favourite, the Samira Wake-Up (perfect for me ever since I went vegan - it's just a big plate of deliciously fresh fruit!). The restaurant, itself, is relatively big and you definitely don't feel cramped at all. My favourite tables would be near the windows where you get a bunch of natural light from the outside. Parking is a breeze with the huge parking lot shared with the other stores in the plaza. Parking near Cora is not a problem on the weekdays though it may get very crowded on the weekend.

The breakfast items here are amazing! However, sometimes I wish they just had basic pancakes or waffles. Maybe that's the southerner in me talking? Either way, they give you a great big helping of fruit that is delicious of course! It's a mixture of grapes, sliced apples, honeydew and bananas from what I can remember. I ordered the panini and it was very good. I can't wait to come back and try the other items on the menu. Beware though: lineups are outside the door on the weekend so come early and prepared!

I had a different experience then the reviewers at this location. I went in on a Sunday for brunch at 11:30, there was a line up at the door but since I had a stroller I was able to get in and wait. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my stroller needs and made sure I had enough space. I had to wait about 20 minutes before being seated but I could see the staff was being very efficient and trying to keep running smoothly. Upon being seated, waitress came right away to ask for drinks. I ordered the kale mango smoothy which was great. Shortly after, we ordered the spinach and cheddar omelette and strawberry banner pancakes. They both tasted great better then the pickering location that I had been to. I left happy going in and spending the extra on brunch that day! Please keep up the good work!

Whenever I go to Cora, I always expect the same level of service and food quality - this was certainly the case. My go-to breakfast whenever I visit is the benedict with two eggs which is one of their more complex offerings. Make sure you arrive early as Cora seems to attract a loaded crowd after their opening times. Although you may never find something that will wow you, it is certain that consistent service and food quality can be always found at your local Cora.

Upon arrival to the restaurant, it's important to note the happiness inducing yellow walls that contain the place. The staff are kind and bright as the environment they work in. Atmospherically, a great place for a friendly breakfast. Food is served in great portions, and fruit comes with every dish. No matter what you choose to eat, I promise the portions will satisfy.

It's a consistent breakfast chain that offers good food. It's clean & the staff are generally kind. I always come here when I come back home to visit Ontario or Quebec. This time I was disappointed. My staple here is getting a nutella raspberry crepe,I felt like I was shanked when she told me that they no longer offer raspberry as a fruit option/subsitute. So I had to go with my backup, a mushroom swiss omelette. The potatoes are either a hit or miss & they were perfect this time. The prices are ok although I wish it was a little cheaper. I will be back but with much less enthusiam since they took my raspberries away.

I always love coming to Cora's. It's always super busy on the weekends so thankfully we had reservations. Typical of Cora, it's bright, colourful, large windows, and has lots of seating. Service was average and our food came in a reasonable amount of time considering the large group our waiters had to serve. To eat I got the Penelope burrito which comes with a side of homefries which I always enjoy. My mom had pancakes which she said was definitely some of the best she's ever had, and everyone else got the typical breakfast meals--eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, etc. Someone in my group also got the oatmeal which was served in a beautiful dish and someone else got a crepe which looked divine. Overall, presentation of the food is always beautiful . Cora is definitely one of my favourite and go to places to dine for breakfast/brunch and they never disappoint.

Great place to brunch! Has tons of veggie options. I loved the kale and mango smoothie bowl. It was so delicious and so healthy! Really filled me up.

I've been coming to Coras since I was a very young child. It definitely used to be a place I loved going. Coras is undeniably child/family friendly. There is a menu specifically for children, kids are provided crayons and colouring paper and their portions are just right. With that being said, I probably would not come here unless I was bringing children to eat breakfast. The decor has not changed at all since the the 90s, neither has the menu or the appearance of the food. I received a very outdated plate of plain pancakes, accompanied by a sole slice of cantaloupe with a single piece of pineapple inserted between the peel and the fruit. There was also a single two inch piece of lettuce which really did not belong on the plate at all. We also ordered some pancakes for the kids which kept them satisfied. We also ordered a plate called "the 7th of July" which looked better, the portion of fruit was much more generous and the French toast was nice. however the crepe was slightly rubbery in taste. The service was good, the waiter was quick and helpful. However the manager seems like he never smiles. This location also has an abundance of parking space and is surrounded by other places of interest.

Good food. Need to take more attention to bacons as they are usually fried and dry with burnt taste. Rest remaining food is okay.

Especially liked the artwork and table with their name on it. I had the Nutella latte, Nutella and strawberry waffle, and a side of sausage. Didn't like the sausage at all (tasted a bit gamey) but that's probably because ein the states there are nitrates, etc that make it taste better. No biggie! She switched it out for bacon, and that was fine and appreciated. My sister had the breakfast tacos that looked delicious and she really enjoyed. All in all this was a great pick and I would return when im Canada ever again and I'm in the area. Keep up the great work, Pierina. Her welcoming attitude attentiveness and knowledge of the menu was stellar and warrants recognition. Thank you!!!

I ordered a latte and grabbed two goodies for the road, a raspberry croissant and a ginger molasses cookie. The staff working were welcoming and friendly and my items were ready rather quickly. Once I got back to my hotel, I settled in to enjoy and get some work done. My latte was smooth and creamy and just what I needed to get my day started. My raspberry croissant was beautiful and packed full of flavor. The filling wasn't too sweet and there was just the right amount inside. I saved my cookie for a snack while I traveled home later that day. I love how it had chunks of sugared ginger on top. The cookie had the perfect amount of chew to it and the ginger on top added an extra burst of ginger. It was lovely. I'm so glad I found this cafe on Yelp and I highly suggest you pay them a visit. A quick Yelp check pointed me to this spot a brisk eight-minute walk from Queen Station on Yonge, and I'm so glad I made the detour instead of heading to one of my usual haunts. I was seated immediately. The place has lots of seating -- high tops, tables and booths -- and a cool, eclectic vibe: comfy chairs, interesting wall photos, eggshell light fixtures and cheerful yolk‑yellow and orange tones. Big glass windows make it a fun people‑watching spot, and the open kitchen lets you see the cooks hustling away. I ordered the classic breakfast (just over $18): two scrambled eggs -- soft and perfect -- plus herb potatoes fried in beef tallow (I swapped those for lightly dressed artisan greens). You choose your protein -- bacon, Canadian bacon, rosemary ham, chicken, or pork bangers -- and I went with the hardwood‑smoked bacon: three perfectly cooked slices. Coffee was ethically sourced, and my mochaccino hit the sweet spot -- not too sugary. All in all 10 out of 10. I plan to try their gluten free waffle next time. Extras worth noting: they offer booze, smoothies, juices, and a $4.75 "coffee bump" (1 oz of Irish cream, Kahlúa, whiskey, bourbon, brandy, or Grand Marnier). Eggs are free‑run. Service was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable -- got me in and out without feeling rushed, back at my desk before 1 pm. I'll definitely be back -- next time with friends so I have an excuse to order everything on the menu. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a well‑made, comforting breakfast-anytime (and possibly a legal excuse for a midday coffee bump).
