French Toast breakfast takeout with a single strawberry as the fresh fruit.
Gigi A.

I love Cora's, and have eaten here (in the restaurant / on the patio) before with no complaints. However, today I made the mistake of ordering takeout. I ordered the French Toast which comes with fresh fruit. Imagine my surprise when I opened the container to find one lonesome strawberry. It was a good strawberry, but still. The French toast was as excellent as I remember. I found the sausages to be a bit soggy, although I guess that's to be expected with takeout. Therefore, 3 stars for Cora's. I knocked off two for the soggy sausages and fruit fiasco. TL;DR - Eat in at this Cora's, the takeout isn't worth it.

Presentation was very nice, although the eggs benidict at Cora's didn't live up to my expectations. The hollandaise sauce wasn't buttery at all, instead it has a slightly sour taste. I had to add ketchup to mask the taste. Not apeasing. Also the food came out not as hot as I would have liked it to.

Egg benedict with smoked salmon and ham on the side.

The medium Eggs Benedict, the egg turned out hard boil inside so was a bit disappointing. The sauce, fruit and everything else was very tasty. Fruit was very fresh. Very long line around noon. Come just before that to avoid line up.

Special of the month: Egg White Delight (egg white omelette, onions, mushrooms, spinach, goat cheese, and served with fruits)
David C.

Cora is always a 'go-to' restaurant for breakfast. I love being able to eat a complete breakfast during lunch time. I ordered the special of the month: Egg White Delight. A egg white omelette with onions, mushrooms, spinach, goat cheese, and served with fresh fruits. Service was very friendly. I was seated within 3 minutes. My waitress was able to refill my coffee three times even though I could see she was very busy with other tables. One thing to mention is the map view on Yelp is wrong: the restaurant is just north of Airport road and NOT west of Queen St. I took one star off only because the creton was a little bit soggy and flavourless, and the beans were cold. Next time I should try the Beef Panini-crêpe! Looks so good!

Came here for brekkie on a Thurs. We waited like 30 mins or more before we received what we ordered which was annoying. However when we got it, we all enjoyed our dishes. They kept refilling our coffee which was nice. I recommend the strawberry waffle.

For sides I got dirty rice and onion rings). This truly could have been eaten by two people. Very generous portion sizes. The food Was tender and delicious. Meat was seasoned well. I got house BBQ and apple BBQ. Other people in my people got the burger fries and honey hot chicken sandwich. No complaints with the food. The customer service was wonderful. We dined in and it was very clean. Highly recommend

Pleasantly surprised to enjoy good bbq at reasonable prices…read more I got the $15 lunch box with brisket, beans and fries and really enjoyed it. My main complaint is that it wasn't enough meat but maybe I'm asking for too much at that price.. The fries were 5/5 excellent, the beans were very tasty and the beef had a delicious texture and flavour, especially with that strip of fat on every piece. Vegans need not apply. Some of the beef cuts were almost dry but that was easily resolved when lathered in mouth-watering hot sauces (northern heat & I can't remember the other but it was 4 's) My son got a dish with their "dirty rice" as a side and that was also well seasoned , is probably try it as a 3rd side next time.. I don't think my wife was into her shrimp dish , not sure.. I tried the shrimp and while it was good, I was glad to go back to my brisket right after. Would go back.

Had a chance to try Munchers when in Brampton and it was pretty good. A nice place if you are…read morecraving Indian Fusion food in the form of burgers or roll type stuff and of course my favorite - poutine! I ended up order the muncher with fried chicken which was super yummy and came with a nice aioli sauce which was yummy. I also got the chicken tikka masala poutine which was really yummy and actually my favorite. Everything about this dish was on point except it was a bit soggy when I got the dish.

Hello foodies out there I been hearing all the hype on Instagram foodies posting pictures and…read morereviews on this place for a while now, so it was time I stopped in and seen what all the hype was about. Munchers is located just off McLaughlin Rd. in a small older plaza on Flowertown Avenue. It's easy to find with plenty of parking. The restaurant is small looks like takeout only at this point but clean with very clear menus on the wall. They serve what I would call a very much modernized fast food Indian-fusion cuisine. Its Indian food with an American fusion twist to it.  They have some unique burgers, cheese melt sandwiches, poutines and of course there rice bowls all made with an Indian flavor's and spices. I decided to try two of their bowls, the Tandoori chicken Rice Bowl and the Shrimp Rice Bowl, there chicken burgers look great also but that will be for next time if I am back. Food : for the Tandoori Bowl I would have to say it was a 4/5 as far as appearance and taste , but it was a relatively small portion size so they could have been a little more generous with filling the bowl with more rice. The chicken is Tandoori marinated chicken is cubed and grilled and then placed over their rice. With two sauces one is a tandoori sauce very flavorful and not spicy at all, the other is a white cream sauce or aioli of sort, possibly a yogurt sauce, they combine well and go perfect with the chicken and rice. The rice is also very good well-seasoned, you can really taste the cumin and the cinnamon, just very tasty rice. The rice and the tandoori sauce they put over the chicken are defiantly the stars in this dish. It also comes with pickled onions that are really tasty also, really enjoyed them wish there was more in the dish, you also get the choice of a very small amount of coleslaw or green salad with the dish. The coleslaw was a disaster just horrible not seasoning and no flavor just plain cut with nothing on it and almost seemed it was cooked not fresh not crunch it, it was soft and wilted like it had been boiled, horrible if you get this opt-out of the coleslaw option not good at all. The Shrimp Bowl 4/5 as well the shrimp was well cooked very well-seasoned very spicy with a tiny kick to it, again the same issue just a small portion if you're a big eater you're going to need two of these bowls they are stingy with their portion sizes at least with bowls, The rice again was amazing same as above, also came with that horrible coleslaw not recommended at all as a side option. Service 2/5 The food overall was great however their downfall is their service just horrible, first considering I was the only person there at about 2 pm after the lunch rush, it took them 34 minutes to prepare my food, with one other person walking in about 10 minutes after me. You place your order then they text you when the order is ready , after placing my order at the counter girl told me it would be 15 minutes, 20 minutes later I did not receive text so I walked in to check the status of my food and she told me it would be another 10 minutes in actuality ended up being another 14 minutes. Just pathetic service, I guess they don't have a clue what under promise over deliver means. The staff was not exactly friendly either, it's a shame great food horrible customer service, need major improvement, not sure I will be back having to wait well over 30 minutes for fast food takeout My recommendation is call-in your order and don't show up early if you want your food on time.
