Disappointed in my visit to this restaurant. I ordered a club sandwich with fries, to go. First of all I was overcharged and did not realize this until it was too late to rectify. The club is advertised on their menu as $8 and served with salad or fries. I was charged $12. Second, my meal was bland and mediocre. The fries did not have a hint of salt and since it was to go, I did not have the opportunity to add salt myself. The sandwich itself was pretty mediocre, and it is tough to screw up what is basically a cold cut sandwich. The meats were cheap cuts, especially the ham which was of the pressed or processed variety. Bread was poor quality. And everything was piled in the middle of the sandwich giving me four corners of just bread. Not my idea of a good lunch. My guess is that it is better to stick to the Mexican dishes. read more

For a small town restaurant, it was a legit spot to eat during a busy speed week. I really enjoyed the chicken fried steak and fries. It wasn't dry or chewy, it was cooked just right for to enjoy the juicy flavor. The burgers are good no complaints from others that I ate with. Fast service, but the only down fall was the wait with limited seating inside. As a result, they had to split my party of 7 between two different areas to sit. They mismanaged the seating of having two people at the larger tables where it could of sat all of us. They were afraid to politely ask if they could move to one of the tables that was given to us. They didn't receive their food yet either. That was the only gripe I have, other than the food was great. read more

This place treats Black people terrible we were here way before the white people that were here and they gave them a menu but told us to Google the menu..I said but you didn't ask them to Google the menu we would like one too. No one ever came to take our order I had to ask the same server to take our order. Everyone around us was getting their meals while we still waited..for 30 minutes for or food. I ordered French fries and a burger and it's taking 30 minutes? This place has the nerve to treat us like this when everyone here is a minority. Stopped on the way back to California. This place has really delicious food. I got the BLT out avocado and onion added and it's served with fries. Their fries are fresh cut and the ranch is the best!! Hubby got the veggie omelet and a pancake. He enjoyed his meal too. The staff is friendly. We walked over from the hotel to grab a sit down dinner (after being on the road for 10 hours we were tired of fast food). Their sign isn't up yet, but they have a temporary banner that reads "Now Open". At 6:30pm we were the only diners, however, several others were seated around us by 7pm. We were greeted by friendly faces, and quickly seated. I ordered the Country Fried Steak (comes with steamed veggies, mashed potatoes and gravy, a roll and a side salad. The portions were great and the meal came out without delay. The waitresses are VERY attentive. Water was refilled when needed, and they checked on everything to make sure the dinner was good and that we didn't anything else. I would absolutely come back, great service, great food, clean restaurant and it's owned and operated by a local family. read more

This spot is a little, cozy, retro gem in this small Casino town! Our omelette and hashbrowns were perfectly cooked, the service was quick and our server Sofia was super sweet! We definitely recommend coming here for a great breakfast and break from driving. read more

The border between Nevada and Utah is unexciting. That's because Nevada is unexciting and a fair portion of Utah doesn't care enough to fight back. If you're here you're either gambling or traveling through. If the former, I don't understand you. If the latter, this is an excellent spot for breakfast in an otherwise sad and desolate place. Really it's a four star restaurant but since everything that surrounds it is so depressing I'm going to bump it to five. read more

I wish I had looked up places to eat before our last day in town because this is far superior to anything we've had at the casinos where we're staying. It was an easy 5 minute walk from the MB/N. The food did take a minute to cook because it was all so fresh, no complaints at all! We had the steak and cheese enchiladas - it was an actual steak and three enchiladas and our total with tip was $30. The salsa and the guacamole was great. The waitresses were friendly, welcoming and quick. We may be back for dinner, but definitely going back for breakfast tomorrow. They do not serve alcohol, just a heads up. read more

Good no frills diner for small town of Wendover. Food is adequate size and cooked well, dinners aren't huge but club sandwich is large with good fresh cut fries. I ordered the beef enchiladas, which had a nice amount of meat packed into the tortilla and a homemade sauce that was about as good as it gets. The beans were smooth and rice was both colorful and tasty. Elizabeth ordered the fettucine, which hit the taste buds just right and the parmesan cheese on top kicked it to a new level. My three friends and I stopped on our way home to Ely. We were VERY pleased with everything. The food selection was great including the specials. I tried the posole which was awesome. The salad was really crispy and fresh, not bagged lettuce. Our server was excellent as well as friendly as were the other employees. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the establishment as well.
