This place treats Black people terrible we were here way before the white people that were here and they gave them a menu but told us to Google the menu..I said but you didn't ask them to Google the menu we would like one too. No one ever came to take our order I had to ask the same server to take our order. Everyone around us was getting their meals while we still waited..for 30 minutes for or food. I ordered French fries and a burger and it's taking 30 minutes? This place has the nerve to treat us like this when everyone here is a minority. Stopped on the way back to California. This place has really delicious food. I got the BLT out avocado and onion added and it's served with fries. Their fries are fresh cut and the ranch is the best!! Hubby got the veggie omelet and a pancake. He enjoyed his meal too. The staff is friendly. This spot is a little, cozy, retro gem in this small Casino town! Our omelette and hashbrowns were perfectly cooked, the service was quick and our server Sofia was super sweet! We definitely recommend coming here for a great breakfast and break from driving. read more

The border between Nevada and Utah is unexciting. That's because Nevada is unexciting and a fair portion of Utah doesn't care enough to fight back. If you're here you're either gambling or traveling through. If the former, I don't understand you. If the latter, this is an excellent spot for breakfast in an otherwise sad and desolate place. Really it's a four star restaurant but since everything that surrounds it is so depressing I'm going to bump it to five. read more

We walked over from the hotel to grab a sit down dinner (after being on the road for 10 hours we were tired of fast food). Their sign isn't up yet, but they have a temporary banner that reads "Now Open". At 6:30pm we were the only diners, however, several others were seated around us by 7pm. We were greeted by friendly faces, and quickly seated. I ordered the Country Fried Steak (comes with steamed veggies, mashed potatoes and gravy, a roll and a side salad. The portions were great and the meal came out without delay. The waitresses are VERY attentive. Water was refilled when needed, and they checked on everything to make sure the dinner was good and that we didn't anything else. I would absolutely come back, great service, great food, clean restaurant and it's owned and operated by a local family. read more

Good no frills diner for small town of Wendover. Food is adequate size and cooked well, dinners aren't huge but club sandwich is large with good fresh cut fries. Pork chops, chicken fried steak were good but not large, beef quesadilla was very good. Place is neat and clean, service is excellent and owners are pleasant. read more

I wish I had looked up places to eat before our last day in town because this is far superior to anything we've had at the casinos where we're staying. It was an easy 5 minute walk from the MB/N. The food did take a minute to cook because it was all so fresh, no complaints at all! We had the steak and cheese enchiladas - it was an actual steak and three enchiladas and our total with tip was $30. The salsa and the guacamole was great. The waitresses were friendly, welcoming and quick. We may be back for dinner, but definitely going back for breakfast tomorrow. They do not serve alcohol, just a heads up. read more

Had their country fried steak and it was a spectacular meal. Very filling and the steak came out perfectly done. It came with a hefty amount of hashbrown, toast, and two eggs. I ordered the beef enchiladas, which had a nice amount of meat packed into the tortilla and a homemade sauce that was about as good as it gets. The beans were smooth and rice was both colorful and tasty. Elizabeth ordered the fettucine, which hit the taste buds just right and the parmesan cheese on top kicked it to a new level. My three friends and I stopped on our way home to Ely. We were VERY pleased with everything. The food selection was great including the specials. I tried the posole which was awesome. The salad was really crispy and fresh, not bagged lettuce. Our server was excellent as well as friendly as were the other employees. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the establishment as well. The four of us had breakfast for lunch. The biscuits and gravy were good, but did not have sausage. That made the dish a little bland. The breakfast burrito dish was greatly enjoyed. We came here for breakfast after reading other great reviews. The server wasn't there yet so the chef served us. Overall, the staff was very friendly. I ordered the Wendover breakfast. And I have to say I was very impressed with my dish. If you've never had soft, tender, juicy chorizo fries with tomatoes and eggs and topped off with delicious cheese, well this should be the only place you will ever need to get that dish. We also grabbed their French toast with a side of eggs and sausage. It wasn't too overwhelmingly good but still better than Denny's. Oh, and for the price, the food is soooo worth it! The only minor issue we had was that their card machine was broken so we ended up staying for more than an hour until we had scrambled enough cash and change. Definitely felt bad cause we couldn't give a decent tip. But we stayed a lot longer than we planned for. So anyways, just make sure their card machine is working before you order. read more

We just ate dinner there. I ordered chicken fajitas. Tons of peppers and onions with very small pieces of chicken in a hot sauce. The worst fajitas I've ever had. The refried beans, which I normally love were horrible. They had lots of bacon grease in them. ick. The Spanish rice wasn't good either. Worst Mexican food ever for me.
