Vegetable samosas
Rachel B.

We stopped off at the gas station to get some snacks on the way to the salt flats and saw there was an Indian restaurant attached to the gas station. It smelled delicious so instead of gas stations snacks we went with vegetable samosas. If you're in the area this restaurant is definitely worth stopping in to try. And they're open 24/7!!!

Nice little spot for a quick visit. The place has got some decent options. We had some samosas and chai and it was decent. Nothing great but nothing bad!

Salty lasso with mint

This is a mixed review. We had planned a larger meal, but ended up with dal makahni, onion naan, kheer and a salty lassi. The dal was very tasty ... liquid but lots of bean bits. The spice level was mild with a bit of zing and good spice flavor. The accompanying basmati rice was blander than what I am used to, but fluffy and fine. The onion naan was naan with chopped onions on top. The onions were sweet and the bread was soft and had a nice bit of char on the edges. Kheer was good with almonds, raisins and cardamom seeds. The salty lassi was not at all salty, but had chopped mint on top, which made me love it. I was fascinated to find an Indian restaurant at a truck stop out away from any city. There were many Indians ordering food here ... a good sign. And there was a small section of Indian groceries available, too. My negative is ordering. Since the pandemic, we try to do on line ordering where available. We Googled this restaurant, went to the website and ordered (and paid). When we went for pick up, we got blank looks and at first they claimed there was no website. We reordered from a smaller menu than was on the website. We called our credit card provider to let them know about the incorrect on-line charge and the bank cancelled our whole account and reissued a card. Yikes, but we did have another card for the rest of our travel. Speedway then told us they had previously used a website but found it wasn't a good way for them to handle orders and no longer used it. But apparently, did not shut it or the money collection side of it down. Lesson, don't do online orders casually. To their credit, a manager comped our deal and bread order. Very gracious and appreciated.

We stopped here based on the previous recommendation and we are sooooo thankful we did!!! I LOVE INDIAN FOOD and if this place was in my neighborhood, I would eat it everyday. This place is that good!! Granted it's not much to look at, but don't let that fool you. We ordered the vegetable samosa to at start. It was super flaky and the filling was perfectly seasoned!! We ate them so fast I forgot to snap a photo. Next we ordered saag paneer, chicken vindaloo, makhani chicken and garlic naan. Each dish was seasoned perfectly, with just the right amount of heat, and each had it's on specific flavor, unlike the majority of Indian restaurants where every dish tastes practically the same! I will be dreaming of their food until the next time we pass through Booneville.

I came here for the Mexican place that has been here for years inside the Sinclair and found out that it has MOVED closer to town. The restaurant that is here now is not related or the same. Apparently this change took place about 6 months ago. I decided to stay anyway and found the place almost empty and visibly different than the previous restaurant. A menu had the name of this place as the "I-80 Speedway Cafe". The menu had American food, Mexican food, Indian food and a small section of Asian food. It looked as if the main selection of items was Indian food. I wasn't in the mood for trying new things so I went with a cheeseburger and fries. I was a little concerned about how my burger would be considering they seemed to have their hand in so many different types of food. My burger and fries came out fresh and juicy. I was pleasantly surprised and it did taste great. I may have to come back and try some of the other food, perhaps some of the Indian food.

Delicious Indian Food! Saag Paneer. Lamb Curry. Chicken Tikka Masala. Basmati Rice and Naan. Definitely a good choice!

The worst Indian food I have had anywhere served in a filthy place by an angry counter person. Very disappointing.

WOW! My family and I…read morestayed the night in the area during a road trip, and we stumbled upon this restaurant. We were so happy we did! We ordered butter chicken, lamb masala, chicken biryani, tandoori chicken, some vegetable dishes, and garlic naan. Literally everything was on point! I almost find it ironic that one of the best Indian food I've ever had is somewhat in the middle of nowhere. Excellent flavor in all the dishes! Just a heads up--we ordered everything mild spice level, but my mom couldn't handle it. So if you don't have spice tolerance, just be aware. It's also good to keep in mind that everything is made to order. So you're getting a fresh, homestyle meal. There might be a wait, but it's well worth it! They do get busy, so please be patient. We received very good service despite how backed up they seemed. If we're ever in the area again, we would definitely eat here again!

The food was absolutely delicious. We had the mango chicken, chicken vindaloo, rice, garlic naan. The service was quick and the portions were generous enough that we had enough for a meal the next day. Others have indicated that the restaurant was loud but we didn't have that experience. We sat under the tv which had music playing. There were a fair amount of people dining and a lot of take out orders. Highly recommend

Plenty of parking, easy to find just past the NV casinos in Utah and busy at lunch time. I really enjoyed the food here. It really is where the locals go. We heard Spanish speakers plus cops, firemen and animal control officers. Upon entry you are greeted. You must wait to be seated. We received complimentary chips and salsa (very authentic), we were offered drinks and given the menus. So much to choose from. We settled on the Poncho Special plus cheese enchiladas. They both came with rice and beans. The Ponchos special had such flavorful meat and the enchiladas were so cheesy. Both not easily forgotten. The beans and rice seemed to be from scratch and each plate had a bit of lettuce and chopped tomatoes. Two rules. You need to wait to be seated and you must pay in cash. If you are stopping by the casinos, traveling down highway 80 or just in town give them a try.

The prices were great and the portions very generous. The horchata was gigantic (maybe 24oz) and the asada tacos were flavorful. Complimentary chips and salsa provided. Service was friendly and had a small family feel. The bathrooms were on the rough side, and out of toilet paper.
