I come here everytime I'm in the area, their business hours really make this an attractive restaurant to patronize, they're always open. I did not realize that all Roberto's restaurants are affiliated. This Roberto's bear the roberto name but no affiliated to each other. I wanted chile colorado, but this location didn't serve it, I settled on chiaquile. The red sauce was spicy and the green was mild, lol, no it wasn't mild. The green was quite spicy, read more

Rolbertos Mexican Food - smothered burrito - Mexican Near Me - Wendover, Utah

Delicious food. The shredded beef is super tender. The taco shells are delightfully crispy. The flavors of the salsa, the guacamole and the burrito sauce all so flavorful. It's a small chain with low prices and big flavors read more

Reviews are hit or miss. Food at 3pm on a Saturday was mediocre, but warm and filling.

This is a go to for late night or breakfast meals. Love the carne asada fries and chorizo breakfast burrito. They have a salsa bar with great options also have warm chips to enjoy while waiting for your food. The place is definitely better than the restaurant at Maverick( Nugget) service is always quick and friendly read more

Rolbertos Mexican Food - Carnitas street tacos. Well worth the price. - Mexican Near Me - Wendover, Utah

Good authentic Mexican food [Wendover UT] If looking for an authentic Mexican place to eat Rolberto's in Wendover Utah is a good option to start. Just look for the big casinos on the UT/NV state line and it is adjacent to Wendover Nugget Hotel & Casino. Just traveling through. The menu was extensive... took awhile for us to decide. We placed our orders at the counter -- a Carnitas Plate and a Pollo Asado (grilled chicken). The portions were large and the prices were reasonable. Came freshly made, authentic food. We enjoyed the meal. Service was fast and employees were pleasant. Clean restaurant. They are open 24/7 so come anytime you're hungry LoL! Review #3507 read more

Ordered our food to go . Very fast , and excellent service. There's a salsa bar with several sauces. We ordered Carne Asada, and Chili Relleno Dinners , both were delicious. Comforting atmosphere. It was served like gourmet Mexican food. Actually the best we ever had. Can't wait to come back. read more

Exactly what we needed after exploring the Bonneville Salt Flats. The whole place was bumping when we got there - We claimed the last empty table & the employee was nice enough to wipe it down for us. I ordered the carnitas plate & my partner ordered the chimichanga with carnitas. Also, two large sodas. The total came to $34. While we waited, we helped ourselves to a self-serve chip station. The salsa verde was suuuper spicy & very tasty. It took quite some time for our food to come out - Maybe it was the lunch rush or maybe they just put a lot of TLC into their food. Either way, we were glad for the chips to hold us over. My carnitas plate was really great. I loved how crispy the carnitas was in some places but not dry. My partner really enjoyed his chimichanga. Both of us ate about half of our meal & packed up the rest in boxes to take home. I definitely recommend this spot. read more

We love Rolbertos! Fantastic and authentic Mexican food at this tiny delicious spot located next door to the Wendover Nugget and across the road from the Montego Bay hotel casino. We have gotten 5 or 6 items off their menu and have never been disappointed. If you are familiar with Beto's, this place is similar but with better more authentic food. Their burritos and carne asada plates are fantastic and loaded nachos are awesome! If you are around the state line on I-80 rolling through on your way into or out of Salt Lake City and need a bite to eat or are staying in Wendover and just tired of casino food, run over to Rolbertos for some amazing food and quick, friendly service. read more

Enchiladas aren't beef as ordered but overcooked hard cheese. Place is DIRTY. Conveniently located w a big selection and good service. read more

This little restaurant has amazing food! I always order the steak quesadilla and its always delicious! The quesabirria tacos are so good too but they do have quite a kick! They usually do have a small crowd in there so it might be hard to find a table. The tables could also be wiped down more often. The sides (onions, cilantro. Limes, etc) have always needed to be restocked when I go in there. The price is worth the food though! Overall its a nice LITTLE place with great food. read more

Great Mexican joint, right by the casino over there. Had the breakfast burrito with bacon, chorizo, egg, rice (usually potato) and cheese. Hit all the right spots like my favorite Mexican joints do at home, and for only $10, mind you. No frills, and they aren't needed here. The salsa/chip station (not pictured here) is also a really cool touch. Went with the guacamole salsa which had all the right flavors with not too much spice, and their Pico de Gallo which also reminded me of home. I liked having liquid *and* puréed bits in my pico, it was really nice. And it's also open 24 hours? Wow. Reminds me of if the late night burrito spots around my town were actually good! read more

We have eaten at Roberto's in Las Vegas NV for years because we lived there 28 years so excited to see Wendover Nevada had one but we've eaten there twice and no more their quality of food just isn't the same son always gets carne asada plate the flank steak comes as 2 big pieces good luck cutting up that stuff with a plastic knife and I got rolled tacos fried so hard I just threw it away my son had to stand in line behind 5 people to get his 2 flour tortillas that we ordered and paid extra for but wasn't with the meal paid $26 for both meals and was so disappointed I thought all chain food restaurants were the same but NO! read more

Been here before and the food was great. This recent past time not so good. Service was fast but the food was GREASY and bland. I got the carne asada and carnitas burrito it was so greasy it all fell apart. Whole meal was just a waste of $$. I rather would have ate gas station food. Save your time and money go to Burger King, McDonald's or Fratellis pizza. Ambiance here was nothing special. read more

The food was amazing! I think that was the best chili Verda I've had anywhere! Any time I'm in Wendover, I will be stopping at Rolbertos!

It is Rolberto's not Roberto's. We ordered the #5 Beef tostada enchilada and the #4 Two cheese enchiladas and found both plates as great. Wary of ordering Mexican food outside of San Diego, found Rolbertos to be a pleasant surprise. Authentic Mexican food, dishes not normally found like Cabiza, Lengua, Tripas Burritos. Complementary chips and salsa a nice change from the usual. Staff friendly and service was great. read more

Two carnitas one cabeza street tacos. Asked for crispy and not only were they delicious but they were big! Wide selection ceviche to soups to machaca! Homemade and great place to stop. Fast and friendly staff. The horchata was good two. Wish this place was in our hometown. Open 24 hours. read more

Hi everyone so like I was out in Wendy over and was like making big moves especially in that like Bison machine. So we like drive to this little Mexican restaurant and oh my gosh WE HAVE TO EAT HERE. So we like go inside I order this like torta thing from like the menu it kind of looks like a small burger thing so I like order it. The food came and like it didn't take all too long like I really like that, then I stated eating. The torta thing was like really good but like a little bit like smaller then I thought it but it's like totally okay as I like really liked it. I would like totally recommend you guys to come like here and the ambiance was nice and small too like oh my gosh it makes me feel soo like at home. read more

Fajitas had chicken, steak and shrimp. Shrimp excellent. Other meat tough and don't recommend. Refried beans excellent. Chimichanga shell is the best ever. Ok good service food tonight sucked! No flavor, warm not hot, again no taste, my extra sour cream tasted better than the whole #6 that I got... It was terrible, tasteless, and honestly a waste of 36$! Highly disappointed.. came in just after midnight driving from Reno Headed to Cheyenne and I get this crap .... Cooks if u don't like cooking please don't cook. U ruin a restaurants name and rep whenever u don't gaf, and r there only for a paycheck.. read more

My story starts with an unfortunate tale of taking chances at the Roulette Wheel next door. With that came some drinks...maybe more. Can't say, really. Add a lot of cigarette smoke and a restless night. I needed Menudo! I've been to this place before. For Menudo and wasn't disappointed. I wanted to see if it was the same and it was. The flavors are perfect and you can add the spice level of your choice. The bowl was BIG. Made me happy. It was hot and filling. I love it. Menudo might not be for everyone but you really should give it a try. I grazed the menu and also got some Carnitas (awesome) but didn't realize that there was Birria Tacos on the menu as well. Next time. Don't know if I could handle the feeling of the Casinos again so soon but like everything else in life...you forget then you're right back at it on the dance floor to some 70's cover band. But it's worth visiting Roberto's again. This place is in the perfect location. Drop by. Scan the menu and enjoy. I know you will, especially if you stopped by the Dispensary down the street. Some people critique'd that the place is not clean. I did not hesitate to sit down and eat (have any of you looked around while you were gambling?). I thought the staff was fine. They seemed happy. The food came out fast and hot. The prices are better than most places in the area. Come for the flavors and choices. Take your food and drive out to Blue Lake and enjoy the views (pack out your trash). read more

The food is great and a level above ANYTHING in Salt Lake City! After moving to Utah 6 years ago, we had been trying to find good places to eat and a favorite of my wife is a good street taco. If you like authentic South of the boarder fair, then this is the place for you! read more

I ordered the carne asada fries with hot Cheetos. I give it a 7/10. Meat Is good. Fries where cold. They take forever to complete the order. Especially for the caldos. They tell you 15 minutes & take 35 minutes in total. But when you tell them you want your money back they automatically tell you it's ready. They don't give you updates unless you get up & go ask. The ambiance is alright. No music. Pretty much conversate with each other. read more

I tried Rolberto's about six months ago and thought it was ok. Not great--not even Taco Bell good--but the service was friendly and the menu extensive, so I was generous in my first review. Half a year has gone by and the quality has steadily declined to the point that I'm simply not willing to go back. I had a burrito today and the beans were obviously canned and unseasoned, the rice bland, and the tortilla stiff and inedible. The salsa that comes with the complementary chips is watery and horrible, and the service tepid at best. No one seems to be cleaning the place, as the tables that were dirty when we walked in were still dirty when we finished eating and left. Give this place a pass. read more

Looks like a standard taqueria at first blush, but this is a bomb joint. The burritos are around $10 after tax but they're legit forearm sized and STUFFED with tasty meat (they do the carnitas very well here). Right next to the Golden Nugget. But technically in Utah so it might be the best taqueria in Utah idk, I can't think of a better one offhand. read more
