I got a ribeye steak. It was not ribeye it was tri tip and they fucked up my steak twice also everything else was terrible. My stomach got fucked up from this place..

My friend and I stopped in here over the weekend after a couple hours experiencing the great Bonneville Salt Flats at sunrise. We had been up since 4 am and were hungry after getting over 5,000 steps. I ordered the Chile Verde breakfast burritos which came with delicious, crispy-fried home fries, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, pico de gallo, and two eggs any style (I got sunny side up). Every part of the dish was tasty, and my friend noted my plate also looked great. It was a lot of food too! My friend got an order of pancakes with a side of bacon. The dish came with maple syrup in little containers and butter. Though the pancakes looked great, my friend felt they were heavy/dense. The bacon was really good - crispy and not too salty. My only regret was that the restaurant did not have lids for their to-go cups - otherwise I was planning to order a horchata and a coffee to mix together and take away. Plenty of parking and the restaurant is easy to find on the 'main drag' in Wendover. Overall, a nice local joint, better than a truck stop or fast food, full of locals, with a solid Mexican menu plus all the basics/standards.

5 STARS for being EXACTLY what I wanted. I wanted a small diner with a small town feel away from the casino vibe. Good food comparable to any chain like a Village Inn, Pancake House, IHOP, but better. You walk into the smell of coffee and good morning weekend energy. The food was better than any breakfast I have had at Rainbow, Montego, or Peppermill. The locals know where to go. I am a regular visitor and this will be my "GO TO" for breakfast every time. Service was quick, nice, and excellent. Thank you

A pretty decent diner in Wendover. Over medium cooked well, yummy skillet. The salsa felt flat to me but I didn't really need it for my dish. Service was good, we had a big group and our server kept checking on us.

The Copper Kettle Cafe is a restaurant where food portions are big and the prices are very reasonable. It felt like the type of place where it would be best to get breakfast. Since they serve it all day. There are not a lot of restaurant options in Wendover, but I want to recommend this one. There is plenty of parking out front.

Amazing fresh made French fries. We stopped for breakfast. Food was hot and yummy. The ham was not to good, cheap and salty. You only get one piece of toast, not the traditional 2 pieces. But the portions were large and we didn't eat everything we ordered. Everyone around us was eating the menudo soup and it looked so delicious. I wish it wasn't made with tripe. Service was perfect. This is a great alternative to eating below par casino food.

Amazing, we had breakfast here two days in a row. I'm vegan and was able to order the oatmeal and fresh fruit and I was not disappointed!

Blue cheese dressing was not made with blue cheese. The steak was tough. The tea was bitter.

Nice and quick service, and food was delivered quick! Surprisingly the shrimp and cod dinners were delicious! Got the shrimp basket appetizer with fries for my meal and ate every bit of it. Husband had cod and sautéed shrimp, plus grilled green beans which were SO good that I wished I'd ordered some too! The only thing that wasn't great was the mashed potatoes, they were more like cafeteria or school lunch. Other than that, if you're looking for a decent place to eat in Wells, I'd definitely go with this place.

Being about 1 1/2 hours away, I would normally stay at a Motel 6 here. My favorite restaurant was The Iron Skillet. So tonight I decided to stop by and try this restaurant. I ordered the sirloin steak with mushrooms and onions, broccoli cheese soup, and a salad. The server was very nice but had a lot of tables to serve as she was alone. The steak was so tender that I was able to cut it with a butter knife. The soup was excellent, the salad was fresh and crisp with cheese on top, and small tomatoes. It was one of the best meals that I've had in a long time. Everyone was enjoying their meals because I kept hearing remarks of "This is excellent" and "This is really great" from other tables. I also tried their apple ice cream dessert which was really, really fantastic! The ambience was for families and those who wanted to be alone as there were tables, booths, and a counter. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. I also want to mention the Chef who was preparing everyone's meals did a really phenominable job! If you're by Wells NV off of the I-80, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant!

Plenty of parking, easy to find just past the NV casinos in Utah and busy at lunch time. I really enjoyed the food here. It really is where the locals go. We heard Spanish speakers plus cops, firemen and animal control officers. Upon entry you are greeted. You must wait to be seated. We received complimentary chips and salsa (very authentic), we were offered drinks and given the menus. So much to choose from. We settled on the Poncho Special plus cheese enchiladas. They both came with rice and beans. The Ponchos special had such flavorful meat and the enchiladas were so cheesy. Both not easily forgotten. The beans and rice seemed to be from scratch and each plate had a bit of lettuce and chopped tomatoes. Two rules. You need to wait to be seated and you must pay in cash.
