Great little place with great service! Green Chile burrito and pastrami sandwich were great. We also had the steak and enchiladas which we really enjoyed. I ordered mine medium rare and it was a thicker steak that was great for the price (after I added a little salt). My mom ordered hers medium and it was a thinner steak. Go medium rare. The pork chops were just ok. A man near us had the fried chicken special and it looked great as well. Our family of 5 ordered 4 regular meals and one kid meal and the total bill was only $41. Went to this great little restaurant during the Covid quarantine as we were moving to California and driving through Nevada. The casino restaurants were closed for the pandemic but thank goodness for this gem of a restaurant we found through a local recommendation. Extensive menu with Mexican specialities. Ordered sirloin steak with enchiladas, rice and beans. Steak grilled to our expectations. Seasoned perfectly and tender. Everything tasted fantastic. I was traveling through and didn't want to eat at the glitzy places on the Nevada side, and I found this. They lose a star because the driveway did its best to scrape off my exhaust pipes under my car. Once inside, however, I tried their Huevos Rancheros, and they were very good. The enchilada sauce had a great flavor, with plenty of meat filling in the tortillas. All of it tasted great, and the service was friendly and attentive. Reasonable pricing, too. read more

Syrup tasted like it was from McDonald's. Didn't even finish my pancakes & my husband squeezed his French fries and grease dripped off of them. I had pretty high hopes for this place, but I'm pretty underwhelmed. I ordered the steak fajitas and the steak was tough, the beans were lukewarm, and the rice was really dry. My mom ordered the chicken quesadilla, which she enjoyed, but she recommends and the peppers and onions from the fajitas be added to the quesadilla. We came in on a Saturday night, kind of late, there were only two or three others groups inside, and the service was pretty slow! They are really limited in both their Mexican choices and their American choices. It's kind of an oddball little place, and if we were to stop here again I would skip the Mexican food. read more

Customer service was so bad we didn't even stay to order. We were never treated like a costomer but an imcovience. Went in with my service dog and told to seat ourselves. After we were seated a employee came over and asked if she was a service dog. I replied yes and was ignored. My sister was ask if she was a service dog and I replied she is my service dog. The employee then asked us to move to a corner table because of the dog and I replied no this is the table we wanted. She said a couple of times dogs are not allowed. We were getting upset and a little loud and the employee said she wasn't dealing with us and walked away. At this point we got up and left since we didn't feel like we would get decent service. read more

Fantastic authentic Mexican cafe right across the street from our hotel. They didn't have any specifically vegan options, but they did have fajitas and they just gave extra veggies instead of meat. I believe they even charged less since there was no meat. The tortillas were homemade and the veggies were ACTUALLY FAJITA VEGGIES (onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and tomatoes). I can't tell you how many times I've had a "veggie" something at a non-authentic Mexican restaurant and it's like they add a steamed bag of broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots to the other veggies. BUT - this place was excellent! The veggies were cooked and seasoned and the combination of the yellow rice and refried beans was amazing! They were also accommodating in removing the cheese and sour cream. My boyfriend had some steak enchiladas. He was expecting the steak to be INSIDE the enchilada, but instead there was a giant steak on top. It was a little difficult to cut up at the hotel, but he said it was delicious. He devoured them and he said the red/orange sauce was amazing. If you are going here while driving through, I would suggest you ask the restaurant to cut up the steak for you. If you're in the area, you gotta check them out! read more
