The Copper Kettle doesn't look like much from the outside. When stepping on of our car we were hit with wonderful smells. We were warmly greeted and told we could sit wherever we liked. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. The prices on the menu were very reasonable. I ordered the chicken fried steak with chicken noodle soup. My husband had a burger with fries. Grandma had a BLT. We were all very pleased with our meals. The food was fresh, hot and seasoned perfectly. The soup was made from scratch with homemade noodles. It was so good. If we ever find ourselves just traveling through again, we will definitely be stopping back in.

I got a ribeye steak. It was not ribeye it was tri tip and they fucked up my steak twice also everything else was terrible. My stomach got fucked up from this place..

My friend and I stopped in here over the weekend after a couple hours experiencing the great Bonneville Salt Flats at sunrise. We had been up since 4 am and were hungry after getting over 5,000 steps. I ordered the Chile Verde breakfast burritos which came with delicious, crispy-fried home fries, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, pico de gallo, and two eggs any style (I got sunny side up). Every part of the dish was tasty, and my friend noted my plate also looked great. It was a lot of food too! My friend got an order of pancakes with a side of bacon. The dish came with maple syrup in little containers and butter. Though the pancakes looked great, my friend felt they were heavy/dense. The bacon was really good - crispy and not too salty. My only regret was that the restaurant did not have lids for their to-go cups - otherwise I was planning to order a horchata and a coffee to mix together and take away. Plenty of parking and the restaurant is easy to find on the 'main drag' in Wendover. Overall, a nice local joint, better than a truck stop or fast food, full of locals, with a solid Mexican menu plus all the basics/standards.

5 STARS for being EXACTLY what I wanted. I wanted a small diner with a small town feel away from the casino vibe. Good food comparable to any chain like a Village Inn, Pancake House, IHOP, but better. You walk into the smell of coffee and good morning weekend energy. The food was better than any breakfast I have had at Rainbow, Montego, or Peppermill. The locals know where to go. I am a regular visitor and this will be my "GO TO" for breakfast every time. Service was quick, nice, and excellent. Thank you

A pretty decent diner in Wendover. Over medium cooked well, yummy skillet. The salsa felt flat to me but I didn't really need it for my dish. Service was good, we had a big group and our server kept checking on us.

The Copper Kettle Cafe is a restaurant where food portions are big and the prices are very reasonable. It felt like the type of place where it would be best to get breakfast. Since they serve it all day. There are not a lot of restaurant options in Wendover, but I want to recommend this one. There is plenty of parking out front.

Amazing fresh made French fries. We stopped for breakfast. Food was hot and yummy. The ham was not to good, cheap and salty. You only get one piece of toast, not the traditional 2 pieces. But the portions were large and we didn't eat everything we ordered. Everyone around us was eating the menudo soup and it looked so delicious. I wish it wasn't made with tripe. Service was perfect. This is a great alternative to eating below par casino food.

Good food, in clean place. Within walking distance of the Best Western. Mix of Mexican & traditional fare. Thumbs up.

This is a great find on the East edge of town. Chicken fried steak was great and the prices are quite low. Totally recommend.

Not a bad place to eat. The they messed up on the potatoes and gave cheese instead of gravy but not a bad place for a quick meal

Very friendly and accommodating people here. If you're passing through this is the diner I recommend. The locals seem to like it too.

Such a better option than anything you can find in the Casinos. I'd probably stick to the Mexican options--my enchiladas were great!

Plenty of parking, easy to find just past the NV casinos in Utah and busy at lunch time. I really enjoyed the food here. It really is where the locals go. We heard Spanish speakers plus cops, firemen and animal control officers. Upon entry you are greeted. You must wait to be seated. We received complimentary chips and salsa (very authentic), we were offered drinks and given the menus. So much to choose from. We settled on the Poncho Special plus cheese enchiladas. They both came with rice and beans. The Ponchos special had such flavorful meat and the enchiladas were so cheesy. Both not easily forgotten. The beans and rice seemed to be from scratch and each plate had a bit of lettuce and chopped tomatoes. Two rules. You need to wait to be seated and you must pay in cash. If you are stopping by the casinos, traveling down highway 80 or just in town give them a try.

The prices were great and the portions very generous. The horchata was gigantic (maybe 24oz) and the asada tacos were flavorful. Complimentary chips and salsa provided. Service was friendly and had a small family feel. The bathrooms were on the rough side, and out of toilet paper.
