Watermelon pizza with tahini, Cojita, mint, and prosciutto. Delicious!!
    Kelly B.

Came here on a Friday night when we were turned away from the Fainting Goat, and we are so glad it turned out that way. We had the watermelon pizza to start; a great starter on a dry, hot July evening. I had the brisket and my husband had the ribs. Both were smoked perfectly, and had great flavor. The portions were good. I couldn't finish all my dinner and had to give the rest to my husband. I left completely stuffed and totally satisfied! The owner, Scott, was so friendly and fun to chat with. Paul took great care of us on his first night serving at the restaurant. We'll definitely come back if we are back in the area!

Though they didn't serve food by the time we rolled in at 10pm on a Saturday, we made the stop on vibe and ambiance alone. Funny, innovative bartender, amazing drinks... ...and a late night Sean Paul disco ball moment? Yes times ten. Lights got lowered, and we sipped the spiciest (per request) margarita with some major late night feels. Old fashioned was perfect as well, but a bartender who listens and is ridiculously friendly too? Big bonus. Would come back for food, but very happy with our late night pivot.

We stopped in this place on a whim. What an incredible vibe and had a drink called the Black Manhattan. It's the best drink I've ever tasted! It was really nice to find a place like this, especially since I live on the East Coast.

New and fantastic!! Visited on the second day they've been open. Lured in by the smell of smoke and the smoker on the patio. Sat inside (do wish there had been a little more outdoor seating - my only complaint!) on a nice bench+chair two-top. Ordered the bbq sampler board (chicken, pork, brisket, coleslaw) and the ribs (with beans and coleslaw). Both were GREAT! Brisket was melt in your mouth tender, chicken could not have been more perfectly seasoned and cooked. Ribs were very smoky - super delicious. Went with the sweet & spicy sauce which was exactly that - sweet, spicy, an ideal accompaniment to the meats. Grabbed a coke - came in a can, best way to serve it. Took a couple cookies to go for dessert, very happy we did - little salt, little nutty, lotta flavor. Service was quick, friendly, and thorough. For a random chance we took, this was a total kickass win! OH! Oh oh oh! THE PICKLES ARE SO GOOD! Fresh, light on dill, big on flavor, just right. GO HERE NOW, THANK ME LATER.

Amazing BBQ and VERY GOOD service! Oh and the drinks are great too. I must stop in Winthrop! We ate here multiple times during our stay.

Copper Glance is definitely the gem in the town of Winthrop. The place is cozy, cute, and full of character. Luckily, it wasn't super busy while we were there; the staff was very attentive and gave excellent drink recommendations. We enjoyed chatting with each staff member, everyone was incredibly friendly and were genuinely excited to chat about the menu items and find something for everyone to enjoy. If you're looking for an upscale drink menu, this is the spot in Winthrop to find it and thoroughly enjoy every sip. Although the food menu was small, both items we had were incredible. It felt random to have Korean meatballs and macaroni and cheese at the same time, just do it. Both had tons of flavor and were perfect pairings for the strong tasty drinks. My only complaint is that we didn't go more than once to be able to try more items on the menu. This is a must visit for the area, for sure.

This the the crown jewel of Winthrop. You might expect a place like this in Seattle or Portland. What a wonderful surprise to find this place in tucked away at one end of the main street Winthrop. On a nice day sit outside and watch the world pass you by. But if you really want a treat, get a seat at the copper topped bar. They have an incredible selection of spirits. Ones you may not expect, absinthe. Not on the menu, but sitting at the bar we were able to try a mini flight of their three offering of the green fairy - including a proper absinthe spoon and a sugar. We also tried the Mango-thyme margarita, a lovely treat. And a Moscow mule, which if you like ginger you'll really enjoy. The also offer it red, which you'll just have to see if that tickles your fancy. The menu is small, but everything we had was really good. Really, what made the night is Mike and Chris, the owners, and Maxx who tends bar. If you're in Winthrop for the weekend, don't miss this gem.

Excellent food and great beer. Service was quick and good vibe inside the restaurant. Chef/owner came out and made sure we were enjoying our food. 10/10 would recommend if you're in Winthrop!

Our waitress was so friendly and welcoming. Truly felt like she embodied the Methow Valley welcoming committee. A good reminder that friendly and welcoming service - or a lack of it thereof - can make or break even the best meal. We started with their signature nachos with our cocktails. These were delicious, and smothered in queso sauce, pulled pork, bbq sauce, and a dollop of cole slaw on top. I tried the sliders for my main course, and others at the table ordered salads with proteins. There was a fabulous selection, perfect for a lighter meal. These were so bountiful that there was a nice portion to take home for lunch the next day. My trio of sliders were a little underwhelming. The rolls didn't seem same-day fresh and the meats were a little dry. I wanted something light; next time, I'll order a salad with a choice of barbecued meats. In any case, it was a good meal in a fine restaurant with a fantastic server with a twinkle in her eye. Can't beat that in the middle of the Methow Valley!

Fantastic Experience at The Cove - Don't Miss Trivia Night!…read more We originally came to The Cove for a wine tasting with 2205--which was a fantastic experience on its own. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the space felt comfortable and relaxed, perfect for sitting back and catching up with friends. That's how we learned about their Trivia Night, and we're so glad we came back for it! We visited The Cove for Trivia Night and had an amazing time! I came with my husband and my dad--it was my dad's first trivia experience, and my husband and I have done a few before. This one was by far our favorite. There were five rounds, including a music and movie section that was our groups favorite. Everyone got to contribute, which made it even more enjoyable. The host was engaging and kept things running smoothly and upbeat. The service was wonderful and personable--you can really tell they care about what they've created. The space is beautiful inside and out, with great vibes and plenty of seating. We ordered the wine cocktail--so good!!!! It's located close to downtown Chelan, and while there is parking, it's also easily walkable from most spots in the area. I'd recommend making a reservation, especially for trivia night. We're not local, but we'll absolutely be back--this place is a gem!

We came here to celebrate a birthday--just three ladies enjoying a night out--and overall had a…read morereally nice experience with a few hiccups. We started with two mocktails and an IPA. The mocktails were not only delicious but beautifully presented, which made them feel a little extra special. For appetizers we had the house bread & butter and the French onion soup. The bread was fresh and paired with a high-quality, creamy butter that tasted amazing. The French onion soup arrived in the cutest little pot with a lid and had a rich, savory flavor with perfectly melted cheese on top. Unfortunately, there were whole peppercorns in the soup (I fished out four), which was surprising and almost ruined an otherwise great dish. Entrées were a mix of hits and misses. The grilled salmon with dinner potatoes was the star of the night--perfectly cooked, flaky, and full of flavor. Absolutely spot on. The crab cakes were a good size with lots of crab and a nicely crisp exterior, but I did find pieces of crab shell in mine. The side salad that came with it was the biggest disappointment--no option to swap it out and the lettuce was visibly brown. We also ordered the mushroom pasta. I didn't personally try it, but it looked great; however, I was told the flavor was a bit lacking. Dessert totally redeemed any small issues--the chocolate mousse cake was incredibly decadent and rich. Definitely a must-try. I even took a slice home for my husband. Service was friendly and attentive, drinks were great, and most of the food was very good. Our total was close to $200 for three people, which felt fair for the quality and the occasion. Would come back again--especially for that salmon and the chocolate mousse cake--just hoping for a little more consistency next time
