The versatile menu ranges from pizza and burgers to seafood and steaks, from chicken wings to sesame seared ahi tuna. Nicer entrees are generally a little under $20 and include a vegetable or two. We enjoyed the fried asparagus, blackened shrimp, warm brie salad, and complementary bread to start. For my entree I ordered the chicken cordon bleu from their list of specials for the evening. Have been going to the Copper Bottom for about three years ,It was always pretty good ,but must admit the new owners have taken it up a notch.Really surprised by some of the unsatisfactory reviews but we have never had a bad meal or unfriendly service.Trust me,give this Resturant a try for yourself and I think you will be very happy that you did. read more

Went today on mothers day the menu was minted to options the food was under/over cooked and the portion size was extremely small (my mashed potatoes were to bites) I made reservations and was sat in between all these children crying and screaming the bill came and was 100 dollars I couldn't believe they are charging for such less then average boxed potatoes and shopritw steaks claims there filets terrible do not recommend to anyone read more

Went their once for dinner and haven't returned. Menu is a little too small, but everything we had tasted great. I did get the wrong dish - shrimp instead of chicken with my pasta - but it was ok. Couldn't get ahold of the waitress, and I ended up boxing it up. It happens, and it was busy so I wasn't upset. Had fish and chips for $15.95. It was horrible. I thought I was eating "Mrs. Paul"s " fish sticks. I was served four pieces of synthetic fish. not a piece of flounder. Long John Silver is a lot better and for half the price. My wife had pasta which was over cooked and a piece of dried out chicken. Food is better in Burger King. read more

Very disappointed on our first dinner under the new owner! Our dinners were average at best! The service was bad! Never got bread and never refilled our water glasses! Very noisy from the bar side! Under the old ownership food was much better and we had a few good meals when Kevin was their! Will have to go to Bottoms Up! read more

Polite attentive service was the lone positive. Dirty bread plates, cold soup, worst sandwich I have ever paid for, absolutely tasteless fish, fries cooked in bacon fat.....even the water was terrible. If you want a restaurant where the soup and water are the same temperature, this place is for you. Another visit, marred this time by a server who whisked away diners' plates the moment they appeared finished, leaving the last person eating, uncomfortable and rushed. How hard can it be to not do this? Unless the strategy is to move parties OUT of the dining room. Great. Food is passable, management appears ... disappeared. We have been to the Copper Bottom in Florida NY a number of times, and each time we have had a great dinner. Last night was equally great so thought it was time to write a review. As you walk in, we were seated to the dining room to the right. For the entire room, there was one waitress, and a bus server. They were amazing. The service was excellent, and it was only the two of them working with a very busy dinning room. The food, was also excellent. We started with the warm bread and those sesame crackers which are my favorite. Followed by the delicious entrees. We really can't wait to go back. read more

I was pleasantly surprised at the great menu. New owner and he has made it work. The only thing that might improve is the classic salad which was dry. We had a large party and not only the service but the staff was great. We were not rushed even though people were waiting. And just for a side note I was able to change up several dishes for dietary needs and was accommodate without extra charges. We will be heading back there. read more

I had heard good things about this restaurant in the past from friends that live around this area. My experience was a bit lack luster. I generally like to order chicken marsala at any place I try as it is my favorite dish and I find that anytime the dish itself is good, only good things follow for me. Unfortunately, not so much here. The chicken was somehow rubbery and dry at the same time and it did not have the signature taste of the marsala wine. Something about the dish was extremely bitter (I think the mushrooms), and I had to push them aside like a little child! If I ever come back here again, I wouldn't order the chicken marsala again! read more

I am not a regular at copper bottom, yet, that is. Got take out tonight. Ordered at the bar through Nina, she was so nice and helpful. Gave great recommendations and was very attentive to myself as well as the bar full of customers. I got the chicken cordon bleu special and it was fantastic. Also the copper bottom sandwich for my boyfriend. Both were delicious and the potato salad was incredible. Will definitely return more often !! read more

Excellent dinner at Copper Bottom last night! Marco has done a fantastic job maintaining the high standards Kevin set for us, and the menu is familiar and yet, can see Marco's distinctive touches in the dishes. Solari's in Hackensack was very popular when Marco ran it, and I'm so glad he took over Copper Bottom and brought his level of expertise to Florida and Orange County. Wait staff was very attentive, food was FANtastic and restaurant ran well. Very accommodating for our kids and yet felt like an adult dining experience. Can't wait to go back. read more

Our nephew drove up from Princeton to visit, so we all went out to dinner here. Had steaks, lobster, brews, the works. Every single item was superb - the breads, salads, perfectly-cooked steaks - everything. We had a very enjoyable visit, due in no small part to this great "find" of a restaurant in such a small town. Tried this place 3 times. Heard from friends it was good which is why I kept coming back - was I missing something?? Third time was not the charm. None of the meat was ever good quality - always very fatty. Burned taste appetizers and so-so meals. I went there for dinner with a group of girlfriends a couple weeks ago. The food was fantastic, the service even better. The servers were very attentive and it was a busy Friday night. The fried asparagus appetizer was delicious, not greasy. I ordered a special that night , monk fish, clams and mussels over rice also delicious.
