I am fortunate to have several breweries and distilleries in the 10940 area. Each establishment has their unique flavors. Any place I can get a tasty beer is A ok in my book. Glenmere has a good selection of beer. You won't be disappointed here. The food options seemed extremely limited. Pretzels and popcorn were the only two I noticed. There was live music the night I visited. The pair covered well known songs and complimented my visit. Other visitors brought cards and other games. The atmosphere seemed extremely laidback and blue collar. The customers were also very "homogeneous" but chill. Then main thing that stuck out was the size of the venue. Awesome brewery in Florida, New York that's a bit hidden from the road. When the GPS says you've reached the location, you will have arrived at a car wash. The brewery is directly behind it in a small warehouse-looking building. We went in the winter so we just sat in the indoor areas, but there is a spacious outdoor area as well. There was a decent crowd for a Sunday afternoon, probably because there was a live band playing. The flights were very decently priced and the glasses were little goblets, which was different. The beer was super unique, unlike any other brewery I've been to. The Wicked Witch was a dark raspberry flavored Stout and had a totally awesome flavor. I'm not usually into stouts that much, but this one is worth trying for sure! The Lucid Dragon was a strong American Pale Ale and the Black Meadow Bog was a tart Stout. The Farmhouse Ale and Phuel were both very dynamic beers as well! This brewery is laid back and fun, including ingredients from local farms. We were able to bring snacks for the day and our dog could tag along too! read more

I'm honestly not sure what to rate this spot. Seating was decent, as long as it's warm. There's a nice outside section, and a few tables/chairs in the brewing area. The beer was good. I had the Darkside, a saison with strawberries. Saisons tend to be hit or miss as they can be incredibly funky but this one was a solid hit. My boyfriend had the marzen which was also enjoyable. The reason I'm dropping stars is because of a bee trap that was sitting on a railing out front. There was a sticky tower to lure bees, where they inevitably become stuck and die. Add to that, when we were leaving there was a pile, a actual pile, of bees on the floor of the brewery. I'm not ok with this. I understand bees can be a problem, but there are other ways to go about resolving the issue. read more

Loved this brewery! I was so happy to find this relatively new (open 8 months) brewery on yelp. We love our beer! We stopped in here on a Sunday around noon. At first, it doesn't look like much. The set up is very simple; they only have four beers on tap and some seating with a few games. The reason why I gave it 5 stars is because of their beer. They know what they're doing here. All four beers we tried were delicious and STRONG but my favorite had to have been the IPA and the stout. The owners are super friendly and were chatting with us the whole time. Pros: Fair amount of parking, friendly staff, plenty of seating (weather permitting), and prices are average for any brewery in the area. Cons: They only have 4 beers on tap....That being said, most of the beers were decent. While visiting the brewery the following beers were on tap: 1. Double Phuel- Imperial IPA 2. Box'd Smok'd Porter- Smoked porter 3. Deftone Lugger- American Pale Ale 4. Lucid Dragon- West Coast IPA While all beers were enjoyable, there is one that I would never get again. The Box'd Smok'd Porter is great if you love a very smokey flavor. However, it is not something that I could drink again. If your looking for a smooth beer, I would highly recommend the Deftone Lugger. As seen with my group, it was a crowd pleaser that would be ordered again. Loved this place! It is set in an unassuming area of beautiful Florida New York. The beers are hoppy, ice cold and juicy. ( they also have some dark brews -but I didn't try those). On the weekends they have live music, and you can sit either on the inside patio, or outside at the picnic tables. There is a food truck outside called "The Bus" that serves burgers with top notch ingredients, fries, fish tacos and other specials. I had the blackberry burger with smoked Gouda,arugula and honey bacon. It was outstanding. They also make a burger specifically for doggies-served with mashed sweet potatoes-and it looked and smelled as delicious as my lunch! We ordered it for our dog-and he licked the plate clean! The staff is so friendly and inviting-it's like going to your neighbors house -who happen to brew awesome beers and grill exceptionally delicious food! Our new weekend spot! read more

Came here on a Sunday afternoon after it came highly recommend by a friend. I love all the breweries up in this area that are converted garages/sheds. It was not too crowded and my boyfriend and I found seating in a nice shaded spot. Glenmere has a nice relaxing environment with good beers and the live band playing was fantastic. My kinda place! There was also a wood fire pizza truck right outside which was delicious. Now I know why my friend says it's her favorite in the area! read more

Quaint brewery off the beaten path. I came here with Sourced Adventure's river tubing group last Saturday @ 4:30 PM; it was part of the package. It's not very big and doesn't have much beer. There is one bar serving IPA, cider, and pretzels. It looks like a barn so when you walk in through the front door there is a door to the left which leads to what looks like a garage and that's where the band, seating, some games, and the brewing goes on. The garage door was wide open, which lead out to picnic style table seating and cornhole. Great to stop in for a beer or two. They accept credit card, which was great. There is only one bathroom so there will be a line. Cute place, if they had some food trucks in front it would have been perfect! read more

Glenmere Brewing offers a nice atmosphere with their beer with a large indoor space in a barn and a good amount of outdoor space with chairs and cornhole to stay entertained. The beer selection isn't huge, but there are a few good options that span different styles. It can get quite loud inside on crowded weekend days so it's nice to enjoy the outside area as well. None of the beer was overly exciting, but everything we tried wasn't bad. read more

This was my first time at a brewery (I'm not a beer drinker). We actually went to catch Cousins Lobster Food Truck (which was also awesome). After enjoying a lobster roll I was ready to try some beer and why not we are a a brewery. They had outside seating with social distancing (families sitting together of course). Went there with two friends the week they opened and it was a great setup. Very inviting with room to move around outside (weather permitting) and everything was brand new. The tasting room was very small so if it gets crowded it may be tough to get a drink. I'd assume in situations like that they'd set up an alternate portable bar as well - I hope. They only had two beers ready to go but their Farmhouse was spectacular.. We hit a few other breweries in the area that day and the Farmhouse was still the best. I am heading back Jan 7th with more friends this time and can't wait to taste what they have. read more

I love going to this Brewery. Always new people there trying it out, it's pretty close to where I live so it's a short ride and the beer is really good. I recently went to a function for the Warwick Historical Socity and Gelnmere Brewing Co. provided the beer. They brought two beers with them. The Pennings brown ale was delicious. I can absolutely understand how it won the gold medal at the craft beer awards. They also brought a lager that was an easy to drink all around great beer. The owners of Glenmere were on hand for beer talk and I found them to be entertaining and intelligent. I am looking forward to drinking a lot more of Glenmere's beers and checking out their brewery in Florida, New York. read more
