Log Tavern is currently our favorite place in the Poconos (after the Dairy Twist of course). Three…read moreof us came here for drinks and pop-up pizza on early Saturday evening and had such a great time. AND the food and drink is delicious?? We have found ourselves a Milford unicorn! The taproom inside feels cozy, and the two young women working were super sweet about getting us samples and drinks. Get the Endless Summer! It's a light, refreshing beer with the perfect hints of cucumber and watermelon and it is absolute heaven on a hot day. The lime lager was also excellent. We took our drinks and went out to the patio area under the tent where they were doing the pizza vending. There was a nice vibe in the air: a mix of folks and ages, but everyone just chilling and having a fun time. Bugs weren't too bad! The outdoor pizza set up is John's of Arthur Ave, which we have always had as to-go, but wow, they are bringing their A-game here with the outdoor ovens! The pizzas are INSANELY GOOD! Like, Razza-style impressive. We were seriously blown away because it's nothing like what we've had in the past from there. We ordered their white pie with ricotta and the "Bronx Bomber." DAMN. Perfect char and chew on the dough, and while we know that the ricotta on the first pie wasn't homemade, it practically tasted it. The BB pizza was outrageously delicious as well: loved the meat and banana peppers with the hot honey, which we're normally not a fan of, but it was perfect here. Cannot say enough good things about the pizza! Overall, a wonderful visit despite a heated conversation about world events at our table! Four very happy stars and we hope to have just as good of a visit next time, which will hopefully be soon.

Solid beers; good variety,, chill place, nice outdoorsy vibes with plenty of outdoor seating.read more

One of the northern most breweries in the state. 3. While NJ breweries legally can't have kitchens and serve cooked food, this brewery has by far the most amount of snacks on offer out of any NJ brewery I've been to. Peanuts, pretzels, jerky, tortilla chips and salsa, etc. and even an indoor s'mores kit complete with a portable flame for roasting your marshmallows right at your seat. 4. Huge menu given the size of its taproom. I counted 18 beers on tap + a variety of hard seltzers. Some of the beers are absolutely bonkers (exhibit A, your Honor: a mushroom and rosemary saison). My girlfriend and I each had a flight and a full pour and enjoyed what we had. As a beer nerd, I appreciate how well organized the menu is: all beers have a detailed description and are presented in order from light to dark. Like many breweries these days, they charge a 3.75% credit card fee, which is disclosed on the menu. Overall a really nice place with some interesting and enjoyable beers. We live in South Jersey so nowhere close, but if we're ever in the area again we would come back.

There was a birthday celebration going on inside that seemed to take up every table except for the bar. Wasn't sure if they rented out the place as we were still able to come in and get drinks. We ordered one drink each and were in and out quick because it was a feeling claustrophobic from the party going on. I was impressed with the blackberry sour I had. And my boyfriend enjoyed his IPA i can't remember which one he had. Pretty sure it was the Dubco ipa. They also have a food menu seems to rotate the food options here as well. The bbq smelled amazing but we didn't end up getting anything. They are dog friendly and my dog loved it here as the girl behind the bar instantly offered treats and water if she needed it.

DUBCO is a brewery based on Long Island and this second location, on sprawling wooded grounds, is absolutely awesome! The beer selection is varied and good, both on tap and by the can. While they offer a couple of local wines and spirits/cocktails, the focus is on beer. Food-wise, there was pizza and some snacks in-house, but they also bring in different food trucks and outside food vendors. The Octoberfest catering was provided by Trattoria Italiana GWL on the day we went, and the grilled chicken and sausage & onion sandwiches we had were both delicious. The place is spacious both inside and out. There are ample outdoor seating and picnic tables, or you could lay out a picnic blanket on the grass. Family friendly too - the ladies room is large and has a changing table which I appreciated. Picturesque, chill and relaxing, with great beer and food, and things to do in the area. What more can you ask for! 5 stars all the way.

My girlfriend and I stopped in on a Friday evening during a weekend trip to High Point State Park. They only had nine beers on tap but there was nice variety and excellent quality in the lineup. Several IPA's and hazy ales but also a grisette, a German pilsner, an English mild and a milk stout. They don't offer flights. Interestingly enough, as much as I enjoy flights at breweries, I've actually found that not offering them is usually a good sign as it is the mark of a brewery that is serious about beer and knows what they are doing. This was true for Autodidact as each beer was excellent. Five star beer but four star taproom. 6 o'clock on a Friday night but only about seven other people there so it was kind of dead. I didn't enjoy the dim, colored lighting or the cold concrete slab bar. We were sitting at the bar and I hated that the only menu available was behind us so we constantly had to turn around to look at what we wanted next. No beers available in the to go fridge but they were able to make us a few crowlers. We live too far away to come back any time soon, but I'm looking forward to tucking into the beers at home sometime soon.

Upon entering we were greeted by a nice gentleman who also served us. There was music playing and the vibes were super duper chill. There was only a couple late on but they were chillin like us. Loved that! I ordered: - The Notebooks She Kept, Grisette w/ Green Strawberries, collab with Carton Brewing (gf) 5/5 - (2) Daylily, Hazy Pale Ale, Citra and Mosaic hops (me) 5/5 - Omni, Hard Seltzer, lemon-lime flavor (gf) 5/5 I love this space and enjoyed being here tremendously. If they had a food truck outside I probably would have stayed for a couple hours. The next time I come I am going to make sure they have a food truck that day or I am bringing some food and chilling longer. Thanks for treating us so great! We will see you again very soon ;) Sláinte
