Absolutely love the wings! Tried it about a month ago and keep going back for more! Fast service and quality food.

Very unhappy with my order, but it was Christmas Eve and no time to complain. I spent over $65 for five 12-piece orders and was supposed to receive a side order for each. I asked for French Fries on all except one order of celery. The celery was just a few plain cut pieces. The fries were excellent, but I may have received a skimpy two orders. Not a good place for kids limited seating service is very slow. This is a BAR make no mistakes, do not bring your kids here. The wings were very good but the dining experience sucked at best. We have been going to Coop for years. They have always been really nice and accommodating and the wings were fantastic. After today I will never ever go back. I called and called for 10 solid minutes right after they opened. No one answered so I decided to just go there and place the order. I've had this happen before so it wasn't a big deal. I know they get busy. When I got in there was one guy at the bar and one table seated. I don't know why no one answered the phone. I ordered for the whole office. They were out of jalapeño poppers so I ordered onion rings instead. Guess what they were out of those too. Fine I can live with that. No big deal. The worst part was my coworker wanted a fried chicken salad with the chicken tossed in a wing sauce. We have been ordering salads this way for years. He, who appeared to be the manager, said they couldn't do that. I explained to him we always get it done like that and he said they don't have the bowls to do that for a salad. I also had an order of boneless wings with the same sauce so I suggested they just toss them all at the same time. He told me they can't do that because if they do it for me then they've gotta do it for everyone. Seriously? Why would you not do it for everyone? Why would you refuse to accommodate a customer? It is literally the exact same thing as boneless wings except it's on top of a salad. It's not any harder at all. It doesn't make any more dishes or work or anything. Even if it did you are supposed to try and please the customer. It's already an extra charge to add a sauce so do you not want to make money? If I was ordering for just myself I would've taken my business elsewhere. I will not go back again. They lost a regular customer because of poor customer service. read more

I go to coop very often, but lately it's been awful. If you want a Togo order you have to call the store 3 separate times just to get an answer. Today I ordered some wings and was told to wait 20-25 mins. THANK GOD I did NOT wait that long. When I received my wings they were cold, crunchy, and dry. The meat on the chicken was almost nonexistent. The fries were just as bad. It bugs me that I'm paying $15+ for a meal that was obviously re dropped into the fryer. Ordered the breaded wings, was told they were spicy, which I love anyway, and ordered them with hot sauce. The wings came out, and apparently they confused the words spicy and salty, as it tasted like the wing was dredged in salt prior to being fried. After two bites I requested a possible re-fire of normal wings due to the saltiness, and the request was refused by the kitchen. I had been craving wings for the last few days so I figured I'd give this joint a shot. I'd heard that they're the "best" wings in town. If that's true then they must be the ONLY wing joint around. I ordered the teriyaki wings. I guess I should have asked how they were prepared because what I got was a sticky gooey mess of a pile of over done wings. I was starving so I ate them anyway. They weren't that great. By the time I finished eating my hands and face were covered in goo. I asked for wet naps and they had none. Oh and my iced tea tasted old. My bigger problem is with the manager who was very unprofessional (this is an ironic story). There was a man sitting at the bar when I entered. He was drinking a beer and left when I got my food. As soon as the door closed the young woman whom I'm assuming was the manager began to mock the man and complain to other customers that he had told her she was unprofessional for throwing away another young woman's application in sight of customers. At one point she said something like "like I should be taking advice from someone who rode her on a bike." She was tacky and unprofessional. The food sucked and the service was on par for the other lack luster joints in Hammond. I won't be back. If you're looking for wings try Buffalo Wild Wings down the street. read more

Used to be a family favorite as in 1-2 times a month, but, over the last couple of years they have declined. Wings used to be always good, to every now and again getting over cooked wings with no sauce to it happening more often, to it going on 4 straight times. If you live in or around the Hammond area this is a must visit. I've been going there since my undergraduate years when they would deliver to campus for an additional $2. It was the best late night food. As I got older and worked at the university, I would still order delivery to my office just for the euphoria. Now that I don't live or work in Hammond, I often times take the 30 minute drive or stop through when I am traveling and get some to go. They have amazing wings and fries. Their boneless wings used to be the best to have, but they've changed them a bit, so I now go for the bone in wings. The Garlic Romano Ranch are a crowd pleaser... extra ranch please! I eat here every week, multiple times a week. I remember all the serving staff faces and I order the same thing every time. Half Hot or medium and half Cajun bbq ALL DRUMS. Told a new server with dreads and glasses my order and I listened to her repeat it back to me CORRECTLY just for her to bring out the wrong thing and her and the manager said it was my fault because the server didn't write down my order the correct way. Like wow! She repeated it back to me correctly but I guess once she got to the computer to put it in she forgot. I politely left the food there and will not be back. The manager and the server both had an attitude because of their simple mistake and tried to blame me. Unprofessional! Rude! Also the manager was a blonde haired girl, I don't remember any names but I know exactly what they look like. I didn't even touch the food I immediately noticed that it wasn't right and sent it back. Wing flavors are delicious and cooked to perfection. Several times the size of the wings have been ridiculous, though. They're like pigeon wings! Even this I can look past but their service and attitude of the employees is appalling. Today I finally decided to write a review. Have had less than pleasant service, but today was the last straw. Picked up order at drive through window at Hammond location. Employee named Justyce came to window and stared us down before asking name on order then rolled eyes and closed window to get my order. Came back gave us order. We checked order because usually always something wrong. They didn't put the ranch in the bag. Knocked on window and she finally came,opened window and had the cockiest, bratiest, what-f-do-you want look on her face and said nothing just looked at us. We advised her we were missing the ranch. She gave us one last annoyed look before handing it through the windows. People may expect that "you're ruining my life, I hate you, die" attitude from their hormonal teenagers - not from an employee at an establishment your patronizing. I've worked customer service before and know some customers can be jerks, so I go out of my way to be polite and pleasant. So her behavior was not remotely warranted. First time here. Its located in an old building and it has INCREDIBLE curb appeal. I love the feeling of it. Ordered apperizers. They were on the table super fast. The mozzarella sticks were hot and cooked right. They also tasted really good, not like generic cheese sticks I'm used to. The potatoe skins were big and tasted good as well. The server stuck her finger inside my cup to carry it for refills. That's a big no-no for me. We waited 15 min for the main course, and then only half the table got it. We waited another 5 minutes for ours to arrive, and we were still missing part of it. That took another 5 minutes and was brought to the table by a different server and it was wrong (after the waitress said she didn't need to write our order down bc she would remember it.). The bone out wings were good. Good crunch and flavor. The fries were crunchy and had good flavor, but they were cold. Probably because they sat forever waiting on my sub. The sub was ok but was cold and the cheese wasn't melted. The onion rings are generic. The bone in wings were majorly over cooked and hard as rocks. The burger was so so (in their defense, it is a chicken place ). The waitress DID notice the error in the order and very quickly remedied the situation.
