The cashier was attentive to the amount of food we ordered. So, that was a plus because it was our first time ordering from here so, we were unsure of the food container sizes. The chicken is so flavorful and always cooked to order. The rice was also flavorful and not as oily as some of the others I've had. The sesame chicken was great and so was the honey chicken. You get a good amount of food for the price. However, this place is popular and we had to wait at least 20 minutes for our food, but I would say that it was worth the wait. This is now becoming a great go to when I just want some wings. Just be aware if it is your first time, there wings have flavors in the batter and not a sauce. Definitely not a deal breaker just a heads up. Very high vibe on the inside, but we have gotten our food to go. There are many seats available for a dine in option. read more

The food was not that great! Actually, the service and ambience weren't good either. I went there expecting a deli, but I was disappointed. I ordered the Honey Chicken with Shrimp Fried Rice. I was not impressed. The rice was very plain and there weren't many shrimp. The Honey Chicken was too sweet and had a tang. Yuck! I won't eat there again. read more

I remember when I first went there their food, red beans, and rice, Salisbury steaks, hot wings, catfish shrimp broccoli macaroni and cheese shrimp fried rice all of it was real good. It's hot food. If you want a hot lunch this would be the place to go, but of course, since the first time I went there until now their prices has Doubled almost same great taste, but you're definitely gonna pay more for what you want. The owners are very, very friendly, always with a smile and very courteous. read more

1st time at Kane's. Was wanting a roast beef poboy. Was told the delivery did not have the roast beef and could be a week. So I went with the shrimp dressed. It was not dressed. It was small for the high price tag! With tax & tip...$19! But the worse part is it was barely eatable! Had to be the worse shrimp poboy I ever had. read more

They have great food, Kane and Tiffany are really nice and make you feel welcome. I always get the fried shrimp poor boy or the daily lunch special but everything looks good. We've been eating from them since they were on the corner where RaceTrac is now. This place is even better and lots of parking, read more

Love this place for so many reasons. The food...Amazing! The owner...Amazing! The chicken wings are huge and such a big plus to me personally. The red beans are actually some of the best I can even make myself. Portions are well priced. The owners and there family work there and are always so nice and happy read more

Decided I would stop and try this place. Glad I did! I ordered the garlic wings which are super delicious! I also got a pork fried rice; good flavor, tons of pork, just a bit dry and didn't have much onion and egg as I personally prefer. I will try the sweet garlic wings next time and not sure what else. Wonderful family run restaurant, competitively priced for lunch and dinner. Every so often they offer traditional Vietnamese meals that cannot be found anywhere else in Tangipahoa parish.
