I heard about this place from a family member so I took the drive down to Hammond. We came in and seated ourselves and the place wasn't too packed as it was a late Saturday night. The food is just ok in my opinion. We got wings and cheese sticks. I was not a big fan of the cheese sticks and the wings were fried too hard. The fries were fried hard as well. They have basic sauces and some random sauces as well. My husband liked the Cajun wing sauce as it had a kick to it. The spicy tiger is ok but I think it's a popular sauce here. I hate that I feel the need to make this review. My husband and I have eaten here for years and would consider it our favorite place to get wings, but not anymore. We went today and both ordered boneless wings (honey bbq and spicy Caribbean jerk) with fries and ranch. It tasted great as always, never had a problem in that department. Where the problem comes in is about an hour later, we both started experiencing stomach issues. It's been 8 ours since we ate and we've both been in and out of the bathroom SEVERAL times. If you attended Selu, Coop is a staple. It's definitely a sports bar feel. Very laid back. Anytime I visit Hammond, I make it a point to stop by. Very nostalgic. Great wings! Very disappointed with tonight's pick up order. Fried pickles were obviously fried in grease that was too cold, batter fell off them. The grease was also old and tasted burnt. On the three wing orders, 20 wings in total, 14 were flats. The bill with tip was almost $60. I know food cost are higher, but you can expect folks to settle for subpar quality at those prices. I don't know when this place went down hill but it has. Ordered a six piece medium and received whatever is in the picture - wrong sauce, old fries and no ranch. When i got home and checked, I noticed the order was wrong, called to explain and the girl who answered was rude and wants the customer to feel stupid. She asked if I was eating the food and if the sauce was orange - obviously it's not or I wouldn't have called about the wrong sauce lol. She said there's no manager, they never offer refunds and said I would have to drive 30 minutes back to them to "exchange" the food. Do better. read more

This was by far the WORST experience I've ever had at this place. I called my order in at 7:40pm. I was told it'll be ready in 20 min. I get there at 8:00pm And had to wait an additional 30 minute. Disappointed in you this time, Coop. You charge $15.49 for 12 wings and fries. Today's wings were struggling to be called wings because they were undersized, and overcooked - very hard and almost no meat on them. I ate fried skin sticks. Not one to make a problem so I ate and left. Sad thing is they have been great on many other occasions but prices go up and quality goes down. Best part were the fries. Hubby & I decided to try some finger food while watching movies. Hadn't tried wings in the area and he found this location. We pulled up the menu online and made some decisions on flavors. I got Teriyaki, Honey BBQ, he got Hot Sweet & Sour, and Honey Hot. Sadly, we were not a fan of any except the Hot Sweet & Sour, which had a good flavor. The Honey BBQ was a very string BBQ flavor with no sweetness to it at all. The Teriyaki was a bit better that BBQ ones, but not a flavor I'd ever want again. My wings were the boneless wings, which were not as advertised, They were thin chicken strips that had been sliced into pieces. You could literally see the sliced edges on the pieces. This also meant that they were mostly breading, with very little chicken inside. I also had an order of friend mushrooms, which left me thinking, I could have left that $6 in my pocket. The best part of the meal was the fries and onion rings, which were pretty good. So, our search for great wings continues! Passing thru and decided to stop by the new place with the drive thru! Found out, it is not!! The website isn't taking orders, therefore I called in my order while waiting. I asked could you get 2 flavors with the 8 pc, and the young lady stated yes! Received my receipt, and I was charged $.75 each additional flavor. I brought it to the young lady attention and she gets pissed at me, and storms off to call her manager! The Manager comes to the window and she's pissed that I'm saying something about it! She removed one of the flavors and refunded $.82 off one of the plates. I asked about the refund for the other plate and they're both pissed! I initially asked all of This for a reason! This was my first time trying this and I did not want to pay anything extra and this might be mediocre wings! Finally got my order, and you guessed it, definitely mediocre wings that lack flavor with a ton of seasoned fries to camouflage the lack of everything else! I purchased a cheesecake roll and it wasn't in the bag! I had to turn around and go back thru the drive thru to ask for it! The young lady expression is pissed that I'm back! She's like their making your cheesecake roll now! At this point I really want to say F it and take all this $hit back! I totally understand why they have such low feedback! Garbage! A ton of GREASE!! $34.99 for two plates of 8 pieces wings and a cheese cake roll! Do not waste your time! You have to have a great personality to run a new or renewed business such as this! Pulled up to the establishment 30 mins later and set in line for an additional 30 mins . Of course by this time my food has been sitting an extra 30 mins and was completely cold and soggy . The staff was pretty good, but the wait time was over 40 minutes for food. Once we got the food we were missing some items and the ranch dressing is pre packaged. I had an order of bonless wings, and you could clearly see that they took chicken tenders and chopped them in to smaller peices. I've never been so disappointed with Coop deVille as I am tonight! First, the televisions were so loud it made me nauseous...yes I requested it be turned down and it wasn't until I had to leave with my order that it was turned down. This place has a lot going against it. Sometimes the service can be bad, sometimes the food is slow to get to the table...but none of that matters with this place. They literally have, hands down, the best wings I've ever had in my life. It's a bold statement, I know but I stand by it. This spot has been notorious in the Hammond area for having pretty great wings for a number of years now. I guess with this notoriety has come a certain arrogance. The taste of their wings has been diminished by horrible service associated infrequent visitors. Tonight I visited and was told I couldn't sit at a booth 30 minutes wait. Sat at the bar, oh that's takeout bar only to have my counterparts joyfully moved to a booth and their order taken immediately. My last visit I experienced similar. I have been eating at Coop Deville since they were a hole in the wall. Ever since they've move to this new place the quality of their wings has slowly deteriorated. The last straw was last weekend when I ordered 36 wings with fries. The wings were split in two boxes but tell me why you have one togo box with barely 20 fries and the other one with ranch packets? Why not fill both boxes with fries and put the ranch packets in the bag? That is as cheap as it gets. On top of that, the wings were so small no one was full. I'm sorry but 36 wings with fries should be enough to fill 3 people. Lastly, some of the workers there could use some customer service training. Child size portions and poor service is why I will be looking for a new place to eat. read more

What can I say about these wings, I love love love them. Especially the fact I don't have to get out my car when I'm being lazy. I can just order over the phone and head straight to the drive through for pick up. My faves or the spicy garlic and the lemon pepper. if I could have given no stars I would have. I've eaten here twice the past few days. The first time my order was not fresh. Wings were cold and my fries. I gave them the benefit of the doubt since they were sorta busy. My mom went to pick up our order tonight and the wings were UNDERCOOKED, cold AGAIN and barely no lemon pepper on them. So after I called to let them know she said it was nothing they could do about it. Not even apologized for the inconvenience or raw food. I guess they thought I was looking for a free meal. I could have easily gotten sick and wanted to inform them. Frequent this location a lot. The service is awesome and the food is great. Will totally skip any of the big name wing places to eat here. Yes in fact I make the drive from Slidell, LA atleast weekly to eat here. If you have questions about the flavors all you have to do is ask and they will bring samples for you to try. I definitely try and bring new people every trip I make there. I think the best part is that there has even been times like last night and the General Manager was handling tables.
