However, we were soon told, after paying, that we would not be crossing the highway to eat at CFA. So we tried to cancel our orders and get a refund as one does. Unfortunately, no one was able to get a refund just because it was "a large volume of orders," really only about 20 orders. We never stepped foot in the store and the food was not beginning to be prepared, so there should be no reason we cannot get our money back.

Meanwhile, a girl in the background called someone else and said there was a lady on the phone having a full-on meltdown. I wasn't upset until they got rude to me, cutting me off saying "oh well," and expected me to just drop everything and rush back. They basically told me, "Well, I messed up, and you need to come back to fix it, otherwise you're out of luck." The guy said, "Ma'am, sorry, but we're busy!" When I picked up my order, there were only three customers and three workers there. The management and staff are unprofessional, and it's disappointing to see such poor service. But I am starting to see why quality and care are going down quickly with Cane's. Take a look at who is in the back making the food. Younger kids who do not care about what you get. All they know how to do is fill the box (hit or miss) and pass it on without a care. You get what you get. I would question if some care about anything at all. The One Love they have is cutting up so much in the back, talking and not paying attention, that customer order quality suffers. And when you bring it up they can sometimes have an attitude coming out the kitchen, especially with the younger employees who literally do not care and have edgy attitudes toward customers. And this is who Todd Graves is OK with employing in his restaurants; honestly I don't think he cares either nowadays. One Love of taking money and giving less and less in return. It's not the Canes I once knew. "OneLove" is just a corporate slogan that really doesn't come out in the chicken anymore. The only thing Raising here are the prices and blood pressure; because it certainly is not customer value. We ordered the chicken & waffles plus the homemade style hash browns mixed with eggs. The hash browns were chunky, well seasoned & served with buttered French bread. The Belgian waffles were fluffy, soft & not overly sweet, paired perfectly with the homemade syrup. I had the Nashville chicken & waffles; fresh, flavorful with the right crunch & heat. My daughter had the regular chicken & waffles & loved hers too. She also let us try the Dubai waffle topped with chocolate & authentic pistachio sauce. It was soft, rich & perfectly balanced. They offer fountain drinks & even Kool-Aid. The only small suggestion would be to bring all the food out at once, but it was busy so it's understandable. Overall, no complaints.
