One sad piece of the Cod. So disappointing.
    Karla A.

My husband found this place via Facebook and the burgers & steak fries looked fabulous! We decided to make the hour + drive South to try them and we were somewhat disappointed. It could be a sweet dive bar if it had a cooler vibe. The music was a nice mix but it was spotty-lots of "dead air". The Beer Board is hidden behind a support pole and our server didn't seem too interested in telling us what was on tap so we picked one that I could see easily. We ordered the pickles to start and the Bacon Cheeseburger for the hubs & the Cod & Fries for me. The pickles were not fresh made but OK. The BIG Burger came with a knife, but in a basket that made it hard to cut in half. My Cod was not fresh fillets breaded in a batter. They were like the premade chicken fingers and three small pieces with warm fries. This is the first place we've eaten at up here that DID NOT have fresh cod fillets and that was disappointing. The coleslaw was boring, just mayo. But no one can really make good coleslaw up here. Overall, the entire experience didn't warrant an $84 lunch check before the tip. I did tip a little "heavy" but it was not earned by our server. I don't think we will be back.

Great French dip and sweet potato fries. Good ceasar with toast. Don't order the fried oysters - mostly breading. Nice people.

Came for the Oysters a couple weeks ago. I love Oysters on the half shell and assumed the shooters would be similar. They were HUGE! Not sure I've ever had oysters that big. They tasted fine, but I struggled to get over the overall space they occupied while trying to consume them. The cider they had on tap was good. Staff was generally polite. Overall, it was a meh for me. I'm glad we went, but it won't be on my list of must go to again next time I'm in the area. I know others in our group enjoyed their meals.

Amazing Food & Great Atmosphere! We loved Conway's Pub so much that we came two days in a row! Everything about this place is top-notch--the food, the atmosphere, and the people. The Blue Burger was massive and packed with flavor, and the Reuben? Hands down, the best I've ever had. The rye bread was spot-on, and they didn't skimp on the corned beef--it was piled high and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is Dive Bar but warm, welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The owners are incredibly kind and make sure everything is just right. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. Highly recommend this spot if you're in the area. We'll definitely be back!

Food was great. We ate outside on a beautiful day. Loved it. It was a little honkey tonk but it's a bar so it's ok. Will go back for sure

Great BBQ oysters; I believe only served during the summer season. Although busy, wait staff still did well. Mostly street parking.

Now, it's become a regular haunt when it's a nice day and I'm in the mood for some good pub food, a tasty cool beer and, oh, an impeccable view over a picturesque Skagit field towards towering Mt. Baker. This place is just about perfect! The food here ranges from pub favorites like wings and burgers, to fresh oyster shooters, to tacos, salads, and some delish house-smoked barbeque. They're also known for Friday prime rib nights, which I haven't enjoyed yet but it's on my list. The service here is super friendly. I've been three times this summer and one of the bartenders already recognizes me! It can be a little slow getting served on busy nights, so I recommend ordering as soon as you can if you're hungry. Otherwise, just settle back with your beer from their amazing taplist (or a cocktail from their full bar), enjoy the view from their vast outdoor patio, and take it all in before the rainy season returns.

We only had to wait a few minutes - 5 minutes maybe - before they called us in to be seated. Once seated we were served water and then they began taking drink orders. Since we were there for Sunday Brunch we waited a bit for the stragglers to arrive before ordering our meals. Service in general was excellent. Very timely without hovering. I ordered their Double Bloody Mary, a drink they are well known for around these parts. It's a drink and a meal all in one! The Bloody Mary was decent. Not the best I've ever had, but still tasty. Included, on skewers were two small biscuit sliders with egg, ham and cheese, three sausage meatballs, two large bacon wrapped potato chunks, a couple of pickled peppers, a chunk of apple, two blue cheese stuffed olives, a chunk of cheese, ham and salami. It also contained a big celery and carrot stick. It was supposed to have a dill pickle spear but I guess they forgot that or ran out. With it you get your choice of vodkas. I chose Tito's. This was all served in a quart size Mason Jar! Everyone else ordered other items and they all seemed to enjoy not only their drinks but their food as well. Salmon Scramble was really enjoyed by the son in law and stuffed French toast was great according to my wife. Several ordered the Breakfast Burrito in a Bowl and enjoyed it. They have an extensive breakfast menu available for brunch so a second visit will be in order. All in all it was a nice way to celebrate a birthday and eat brunch. Well worth a visit.

I came for the food -- in my case a Reuben sandwich stuffed to the gills -- and coleslaw, though obviously most people choose fries in one of the available variants. Both the sauce on the sandwich and the slaw had a kick to them - a hint of heat that added to the whole. The food was promised for 15-minutes, but took less than 10 -- I like it when promises are kept or even exceeded. The pub had three distinct seating areas: outside in the courtyard, outside under a deck (sheltered, with transparent vinyl sheeting to block the wind, and inside. This is a place where you order and pay at the bar, then find yourself a seat. It's not fancy, it's not upscale, but it's solid with good food and brews. The service was friendly and competent, but young and a touch overly enthusiastic (I'm not fond of being repeatedly called "my man" - not so much because it's excessively familiar - which it is, but because the enthusiastic repetition of the phrase at every chance is a bit forced and formulaic).
