Classic cars are often in the area

Terrific atmosphere, food, and drinks. If you're lucky enough to be there when they have live music the crowd is lively and really enjoying themselves. Delicious sandwiches and burgers, fish and seafood. Actually the best burger I've had in Skagit Valley. Friendly staff and great service.

One sad piece of the Cod. So disappointing.

My husband found this place via Facebook and the burgers & steak fries looked fabulous! We decided to make the hour + drive South to try them and we were somewhat disappointed. It could be a sweet dive bar if it had a cooler vibe. The music was a nice mix but it was spotty-lots of "dead air". The Beer Board is hidden behind a support pole and our server didn't seem too interested in telling us what was on tap so we picked one that I could see easily. We ordered the pickles to start and the Bacon Cheeseburger for the hubs & the Cod & Fries for me. The pickles were not fresh made but OK. The BIG Burger came with a knife, but in a basket that made it hard to cut in half. My Cod was not fresh fillets breaded in a batter. They were like the premade chicken fingers and three small pieces with warm fries. This is the first place we've eaten at up here that DID NOT have fresh cod fillets and that was disappointing. The coleslaw was boring, just mayo. But no one can really make good coleslaw up here. Overall, the entire experience didn't warrant an $84 lunch check before the tip. I did tip a little "heavy" but it was not earned by our server. I don't think we will be back.

Great French dip and sweet potato fries. Good ceasar with toast. Don't order the fried oysters - mostly breading. Nice people.

Oyster Shooters

Came for the Oysters a couple weeks ago. I love Oysters on the half shell and assumed the shooters would be similar. They were HUGE! Not sure I've ever had oysters that big. They tasted fine, but I struggled to get over the overall space they occupied while trying to consume them. The cider they had on tap was good. Staff was generally polite. Overall, it was a meh for me. I'm glad we went, but it won't be on my list of must go to again next time I'm in the area. I know others in our group enjoyed their meals.

Blue Burger and tater tots

Amazing Food & Great Atmosphere! We loved Conway's Pub so much that we came two days in a row! Everything about this place is top-notch--the food, the atmosphere, and the people. The Blue Burger was massive and packed with flavor, and the Reuben? Hands down, the best I've ever had. The rye bread was spot-on, and they didn't skimp on the corned beef--it was piled high and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is Dive Bar but warm, welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The owners are incredibly kind and make sure everything is just right. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. Highly recommend this spot if you're in the area. We'll definitely be back!

Great food and atmosphere, the new owners are great. I suggest you stop by for some great food and service.

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger and didn't get bacon. How does that happen when there were only me and one guy at the bar?

Decent dive bar with a average selection of food and drink. Can get packed on weekends especially during good motorcycle riding weather.

The seasonal we had was inventive and delicious. That old fashioned was honestly excellent - peep how they froze the cherry in the rock. Cute! Fries - really good and plentiful Service - if they didn't shine elsewhere (and they do) they'd really shine here. All helpful and witty. We only had to wait a few minutes - 5 minutes maybe - before they called us in to be seated. Once seated we were served water and then they began taking drink orders. Since we were there for Sunday Brunch we waited a bit for the stragglers to arrive before ordering our meals. Service in general was excellent. Very timely without hovering. I ordered their Double Bloody Mary, a drink they are well known for around these parts. It's a drink and a meal all in one! The Bloody Mary was decent. Not the best I've ever had, but still tasty. Included, on skewers were two small biscuit sliders with egg, ham and cheese, three sausage meatballs, two large bacon wrapped potato chunks, a couple of pickled peppers, a chunk of apple, two blue cheese stuffed olives, a chunk of cheese, ham and salami. It also contained a big celery and carrot stick. It was supposed to have a dill pickle spear but I guess they forgot that or ran out. With it you get your choice of vodkas. I chose Tito's. This was all served in a quart size Mason Jar! Everyone else ordered other items and they all seemed to enjoy not only their drinks but their food as well. Salmon Scramble was really enjoyed by the son in law and stuffed French toast was great according to my wife. Several ordered the Breakfast Burrito in a Bowl and enjoyed it. They have an extensive breakfast menu available for brunch so a second visit will be in order. All in all it was a nice way to celebrate a birthday and eat brunch. Well worth a visit.

Came here with my husband on a rare date night. I was REALLY excited about this place. The menu had…read morea lot of our favorite dishes. For starters, we ordered the artisan bread, a dozen oysters, and the beet salad. As someone who bakes and sells my own artisan sourdough, I was underwhelmed by the bread. I liked the touch of truffle they add to it but it needed salt. And it also needed to be on the table well before the 35 minutes we waited for it. The oysters were also not very memorable. I can't remember what one of the varieties was, but they were brinier than I care for but that's just a personal preference. The kumamotos were the TINIEST oysters I've ever seen. I've eaten my share of kumamotos and I know Japanese oysters are generally smaller and sweeter than other varieties (which is why they're my favorite) , but I'm not exaggerating when I say they were the size of quarter. I also didn't like the frozen mignonette they served as an accoutrement. It didn't seem frozen--it spread like jam. It didn't really taste like vinegar or shallot like mignonette should. It was just not very good. The beet salad was EXCELLENT. The chèvre was generous, the bitter micro greens tasted great with the beets and chèvre. It was well seasoned. We devoured it. For entrees, I had the dayboat scallops and my husband had the duck leg. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the leek risotto was very tasty. I'm not really sure what I was supposed to do with the pickled lemon on my plate. I tried to eat a small piece with the other elements and it was so overpowering that I left the rest on my plate. Now let's talk about the protein--my $52 scallop dish came with THREE scallops. Not even whole scallops as I'm pretty sure they were cut in half to cook more evenly. Three small 1/2 scallops and two cubes of pork belly. For Fifty-two dollars. My husband enjoyed the duck, but again, the portions were disappointing. $230 later, we ended up going through a drive through because we were still hungry. Unlikely we'd return after such an expensive meal left us so unsatisfied.
