This place was pretty fun. The whole crew has done an escape room before, but they had so many people in such a small room that it was just pure chaos. However, this place took a much more smoother approach. Smaller groups (just our crew, score!), no "threats" that impede problem solving, a hint system, and puzzles that leaned into the theme we played. The host, Mallory, kept up appearances to maintain the sense of immersion to our theme, and kept a classic cheesy accent as well.

We escaped the Hollywood room in 40 minutes - woohoo!

We did the Hollywood room. Wheels was our fantastic host. Our 9 year old was with us, and she was so excited and proud that we escaped. It was really fun!

Two players that just completed Experiment C73.

tl;dr: Yes, Conundrum Escape Rooms in Arvada is great and deserving of your time in Colorado! Experiment C73 was my 148th escape room, and Path of the Gods was my 149th escape room for those looking for reviews from the perspective of someone that's played a fair amount of games. I played each of those games with just one person. I'll start with Experiment C73. Experiment C73 was one of the most teamwork-intensive rooms I've played. I'd wager that 75% of the puzzles and tasks in the room are physically impossible to do by one person alone, which makes this a fantastic room to play if you want to see how well-suited you and your group are in terms of collaboration. Puzzle design here is clever and there is a lot to do. My friend and I finished this room with two hints, although one of those hints made me nearly ashamed of myself because I had literally looked at the solution, said it out loud, and then completely disregarded it, haha. Note that at least one player will have to be able to crawl, although it would be helpful if you had at least three players and two of them could crawl... As for Path of the Gods, I can confidently say I've never felt as stumped about what to do in a room as I have in this one! This room is less linear than Experiment C73. In fact, there are effectively four different tracks that can be taken once you're inside, and at least one of those requires two people. So, a group trying to speedrun this would need five people at a bare minimum. Since I was doing this with just one other person, we spent what seemed like an eternity trying to figure out where to even start, and we needed a lot of hints to really get started on what to do. By the end of it I felt like we were way over time, so I was pleasantly surprised to learn we had roughly two minutes left. Path of the Gods is a very puzzle-heavy room that also has nicely implemented tech, audio, and set-design. You're given a walkie talkie in order to communicate with an archaeologist on the outside if you need hints, but be careful to not accidentally change the channel on the walkie talkie like I did (oops!). There's a very short bit of crawling here, but you can kind of just butt scoot your way through that passage. Overall, I'd recommend this room for those looking to really exercise their brains or those who like feeling like adventurers in dimly-lit ancient Egyptian temples. Lastly, I have to really thank John, our game master, for being both a great game master and a great person to chat with between games. I didn't ask, but my guess is that John is perhaps both an owner and a game designer/builder here. You can tell John is an escape room enthusiast not just because he's done a lot of rooms himself, but because the games here are made with elements that escape room enthusiasts look for: unique puzzles that make sense, physical sets to interact with, and rooms that keep you occupied for your full hour's worth. If you're a local and looking to support local businesses, go here! Or if you're just a visitor to Colorado (like me) and are looking to have a great time playing an escape room, go here!

Super fun family evening. Our whole family found the room interesting and enjoyed trying to work through to solve the riddle.

When the time did come to book her party, she decided she still really wanted to have her party here. I reached out via the form on the website and heard back super quickly with details on pricing and options, and just as quickly when I asked for availability for the specific day. We booked the party and made our deposit and leading up to the party had a lot of updates to throw at them including number of people, time in the party area, and add ons like ordering pizza. Each time their responses were prompt and incredibly helpful. On the day of the party Jared greeted me and gave me the full run down, and made sure all my questions were answered. We got set up and right at our party time they brought the kids on the floor for both guided activities and free play. They really made my daughter feel special by letting her lead the activities and even gave her a few special things to do, which she absolutely loved! All the kids in the party had an amazing time with coach Jared and coach Logan and we felt they were safe and taken care of the entire time. At the end of the party, every single parent came up to tell us how much they and their kid loved the party. Jared let us know we could leave anything we didn't want to take (extra food, decorations, etc) and they would clean it up. That was a huge bonus and made our life so much easier! Jared, Logan, and the party planning team made my daughter's birthday part so amazingly smooth and fun - I would not be surprised if she wants to come back next year and I would gladly do it all again!

This is a unique experience that is great for friends, or work/organization team buildings. Bridget and Zach were our hosts and they were great! They explained everything really well. We were able to buy some very reasonably priced beer and wine before going in for our 1 hour game. The games themselves were quite fun. It's nice that they have other game options so the experience can look different every time. The only downside is having to pay for all the spots in advance-- understandable, but also challenging if someone cancels last minute. It's about $40/person before gratuity.

The games were already fun but his presence blew up the fun meter. Jordan and staff was 10/10. My coworkers and I attended GSBR as part of our Holiday Party. We drew color chips out of a hat to determine which team we would be on: red or blue. We then were led to a room with two large tables color coordinated and lights simulating a game show. NOTE: They sold drinks at the front and required you to purchase your drinks ahead of time before entering the room. The room had a small fridge to keep them cool. We played survey battle, match up wars, cups (not like you've seen) and more. Our team had a blast, cause we won. The blue team had fun too but wants a rematch. I'm sure we'll back for some redemption rounds.

I also appreciate that he gave me a full credit for what I had spent on the class to be able to try them again with another class. I am very pleased with this solution, and can only add that I suggest they prioritize training their customer service team to be more solutions oriented in the future, and to avoid simply not responding to their customers. This solution is what I was hoping for the whole time, just had to wait two months to get it. ------------------------- This service is a joke. You are better off booking with the venue hosting the cooking classes directly. I had purchased this class as a Christmas present for my partner and I. I chose an "Exciting Spanish Meal" after reviewing all of the options available. CozyMeal confirmed details numerous times before the class. When we arrived, we weren't cooking the meal that I had booked, it was actually a French meal (all of the components I had already cooked myself numerous times so this wasn't much of a class for me). I let the chef know we had signed up for a different class and he said it must be a glitch with the CozyMeal system, as that venue had the French class booked that night for months prior. I contacted CozyMeal customer service the next day and they said they were escalating my issue, whatever that means. I was shuffled around between three different customer service members, all saying they were waiting for an update. I didn't hear back for two weeks so I inquired again if there were any updates, they said they were still waiting. I contacted twice more for follow up after that, one a week after, one three weeks after, and still to this day have not received another email or any communication or "updates" from CozyMeal. My class was January 12th and it is now March 27th and I have not received any further communication from them. These classes are not cheap, I spent $89 per person for a class I did not sign up for, that was of no value to me at all. That is why I said book with the venue directly instead of CozyMeal, at least you will have peace of mind of where your money is getting spent, and won't get ignored by customer service after spending $180 on a class you have no idea if you will actually get to take.
