    Chef Alex demonstrates pasta making.

We received Cozy Meal experience as a gift. We weren't sure what to expect. Inviting a stranger in our home to teach us cooking techniques while cooking a 5-course meal seemed so unorthodox. However, what a treat it was. Chef Alex was very friendly, and he adapted well to our kitchen area. We started with making a bolognese. Once that was in the oven, we made ricotta! It tasted amazing. I will be making it again. We roasted tomatoes and pancetta and enjoyed a delicious bruschetta with an arugula salad and a homemade vinaigrette. This was followed by making our own pasta, cooking it, and smothering it with the bolognese. For dessert, we enjoyed a caramel custard that tasted like werther's caramels. The whole menu is Chef Alex's own creation. This was a meal we would order at a nice restaurant. Very delicious and now we can make it at home for ourselves. I also want to add that my 9 year old granddaughter joined in on the fun. Chef Alex was very patient with her and took extra time to explain the process with her. I didn't expect her to eat much of the meal, but she ate some of all of it, including the arugula salad. Overall, we were very pleased and would do it again thanks to Chef Alex.

Nice clean kitchen with everything prepped and ready to cook

The resident chefs at Sur La Table were awesome! So welcoming and friendly. The kitchen space was bright, clean, and perfect for a group cooking setting. The chefs walked through each step, explained everything in detail, and always took the time to answer any questions we had. They also showed us a lot of neat little tips and tricks that we will definitely take back and apply when cooking at home. Great experience and cannot wait to do another class soon!

My daughter and son in law set up a pasta making class with Chef Kelly and I cannot say enough good things! This was the best gift ever! Kelly was amazing - she was an excellent teacher, extremely organized and prepared, kept us on schedule and was really friendly, fun and encouraging. She made something, that seemed so difficult, extremely simple and DELICIOUS! I never knew I could actually make a chef inspired meal! Wow. Just wow. We met her at her home, which was so welcoming and spacious. We got started right away with making the dough and before we knew it we were forming ravioli, linguine, spaghetti and tortellini! We learned how to make two different fillings that were incredible. After everything was complete, we finished our time around the table and enjoyed the meal along with some wine we brought. Sooooooo good! Must do! Most memorable gift ever!

I had to think outside of the box for something special, and I happened to findy Cozymeal. I looked over the experiences and reviews, and decided to go with Chef Robert. The culinary adventure that Chef Robert and Mrs. Chef took us on was phenomenal! We appreciate how they tailored the event based on our dietary needs, and there was so much information which enhanced the evening. They exposed us to food combinations we didn't know about, and their hospitality matched the deliciousness of the meal. We highly recommend Chef Robert, Mrs. Chef, and Cozymeal if you are looking for a unique experience. We were not disappointed.

Homemade Naan and Chicken Tikka Masala. WOW!!! Yummy!

Excellent class! Chef Rishika did it again! Great class! Easy instructions, wonderful menu! I can eat Indian food! I just don't include the garlic! Awesome! Fun class! Will definitely be making the Naan, as well as the Chicken Tikka Masala my again. It really helps if you have all of the ingredients premeasured before class. She also gives you time to clean up between steps. Awesome! She is great giving instructions, and answers all of your questions. Added top, read through the recipes before class, to give yourself a good base on which to build. Time well spent with Chef Rishika! This is the 2nd class I have taken from her (the first one was the Ravioli and Tiramisu - which was Awesome too!). Looking forward to more classes on CozyMeal, as well as with Chef Rishika. Thanks!

I had very brief encounters with him but his demeanor towards me seemed very rude. Asked him very simple questions but made me seem like I was asking him dumb questions. Second, the menu was not good. As someone who has been to a lot of Thai restaurants, this might have been for people who are not very familiar with authentic Thai food. I knew the class was over when the instructor told us to soak the rice paper into water for 30-45 seconds (I understand it was not warm water and we used tap water) Still, anyone who has actually has made spring rolls before knows that is way too long. Pad see ew was atrocious. Only used oyster sauce and tamari as sauces... don't really see the point of coming to a cooking class when your cabinet has better selection of spices/sauces. Chicken Khao Soi was decent. Paying 120 dollars for this class was a big mistake. I don't quite understand how they could charge this much knowing that the ingredients they used were fairly affordable. Honestly wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Allison was very sweet. The place was very cute. Only 2 positives.

Next we made Royal Icing that was a bit tough to make and stiff. After we made cookie cut outs and baked. My only gripe is I wish they maybe did more of a soft icing and some toppings like sprinkles because the royal icing was hard to do any type of nice decoration on. Overall we left with a ton of cookies made and 2 big rolls of sugar cookie dough and chocolate chip cookie dough to Take home. I wish they offered more kids classes. SPACE: Located in an outdoor mall area, the space is easy to spot with ample parking. The interior is cozy with dim lighting and oak accents, while offering a variety of seating for parties of all sizes. A spacious outdoor patio is also available - perfect for the summertime! We were seating in the middle of the dining room, which was fine with us. The vibe is def cozy chic, which we found welcoming . SERVICE: I had booked reservations in advance, as Happy Hour here is a major hit. The friendly hostess seated us and our server followed shortly behind her. She was friendly, attentive, provided some good recommendations and was pleasant all around! SIPS: While our friend opted for a glass of wine, my husband stuck with water, while I looked at their mocktail menu. The options are limited, but available for a fun treat. I opted to try the "Little Kiss" which was a mixture of grapefruit, sparkling soda, and cranberry. The flavors were on point for the holiday season and tasted refreshing. I will admit, the glass it came in was a turn off. It was like a normal draft size class, which made me feel like I was about 9 years old. Bummer. Otherwise, there are plenty of options for drinkers alike - beer, wine, cocktails, you name it, they have it! SUSTENANCE: The food!! This spot is known for their rustic Italian and woodfired creations - and the menu is fire. I asked for some bread and oil to start - because that sounded divine. It came out quickly and was a nice intro to the meal. My friend opted for the Pasticcio - aka meatballs, three cheese tortellini, slow braised Bolognese, herby pomodoro, bechamel and parm brulee - which he found to be fantastic! It came with more bread, which was perfect for dipping. My friend got a kick out of the presentation as well - in a cast little iron cauldron! I chose the Seafood Pasta - a special of the night. I'll admit, I was a bit disappointed in my meal - as it was a mixture of squid, shrimp, scallops and other - in a red sauce. Not what I was expecting with seafood, but always down to try new things. The seafood flavor overpowered the dish - which made it hard to finish. I opted not to take it home. My husband noshed on the Brasato - Barolo wine slow braised angus short rip, creamy polenta and gremolata - which was DIVINE.
