Such a fun spot for a date night to take a cooking class! If you can't get in for a cooking class it's definitely worth stopping by for a drink at the bar! Their cocktails are wonderful and the staff is so friendly!

Met some new friends. What a fun time.

Great cooking school. I enjoyed the whole evening. Great date night venue. Michelle is awesome for helping with the planning and the chefs are great.

This review is for the Create Bar. I can't speak for the cooking classes although they sound like they're lots of fun. (I'd especially like to get my son into one of the kid's classes, but their waiting lists are long!) We visited the bar on a snowy Saturday night and it was hopping with people having drinks and also those attending classes. The place had a great vibe going. The bartender was a really cool guy too. I had a glass of chardonnay and my husband had an "adult" hot chocolate with a shot of bourbon. Overall, we had a very pleasant time. My only issue was the cost - the hot choc alone was over $14 before tax and tip! I'd come here again, but only during happy hour at these prices.

Such a great group experience. We have a newly forming work team and we all went out to cook and talk and have some fun together after a long day of work stuff. Create, located in the Stanley Marketplace, has a fantastic setup with high energy chef/mentor/guides to help you find to fun and work in cooking. Tables were set for us. Ingredients set out and demonstrations on safety and preparation were fun and thorough. We had fondue, with bread and fruits. Pan seared salmon with roasted potatoes and cauliflower and molten lava cake. They had a solid white and red wine pairing to go with dinner. Cooking in a group was fun! Shared experience. Lots of stories and a glass of wine helped to lighten everyone up and drag us out of work mode into fun mode. Fresh ingredients. Lively atmosphere Fun and friendly staff. Being located in the Stanley marketplace was a perfect locale for us. Not sure what the costs was but I doubt that it was a budget buster. Will return for another session.

Class is a must do when coming to Denver. Sean has a great personality and is so much fun to work with and learn from. I would give this experience a 10 stars if I could. This place is nestled in the Stanley Marketplace and offers an open kitchen experience. The classes do sell out fast so be sure to reserve I'm advance. I would definitely recommend this experience for anyone, even those who have a long layover in Denver.

Wow. What an amazing establishment. The chefs and bartenders are people you already feel like you're friends with. Sean is a homie and Bean knows what's up. Definitely coming back here next time I'm in Aurora. Food is good and drinks are even better. Worth the trip to hang out at this place.

Flavors of Italy night - mussels appetizer

This was a great date night. We signed up for the Italy night class a few months back and were nervous about going as covid cases climbed. Upon arrival, we were seated distanced from the other class (10 people total) and reminded to wear our masks at all times when not actively eating/taking a drink. Additionally each couple had their own kitchen area and prepped their own individual meal. The bartenders were offering paired wines with our class (2 drinks included). I'm currently expecting so they happily made me up a mocktail instead! Our instructor Andrew started with some chopping skills demonstrations as well as our dessert torte so it could bake and then got us going cooking our appetizer. We made mussels in a red sauce - very easy to follow and a huge portion for each of us. After enjoying our appetizer, we started cooking our mushroom risotto. Andrew made sure to do rounds checking in on each kitchen and offering tips. The bartenders were also super engaging - checking in on us while cooking and asking us how things turned out. Again the risotto portion was huge - we had to bring home leftovers. Next Andrew served up our chocolate torte with strawberries, and it was delicious! We learned some new skills and got to have a fun night out in this weird year. We would definitely do this again!

Such a prefect class to do with a significant other or friend. Regardless if you have minimal cooking skills or are an experienced chef I promise you will learn something new and have a blast! We did the "Tuscany brunch" with Chef Anthony. We made 3 dishes: eggs in purgatory with stove top toasted bread, orange ricotta pancakes and zeppole with creme anglaise. We essentially prepared one dish at a time and eat each course after we prepared it. The class took about 3 hours including eating. They also had all you can drink mimosas and sangria which I think is an added bonus for most people but I would probably have preferred to pay a bit less and not have the alcohol (or at least have the option). Most of the ingredients are measured out so it is mostly just the actual cooking part that you do and some veggie chopping. The chef demonstrates step by step which is helpful. The creme anglaise we made as a group which was also nice. We were not even close to being able to eat all we made but were able to take home leftovers which I really appreciated (I hate wasting food). We will definitely be back for a dinner class!

"Kit" for Paella Class
Tasha B.

I love that they are offering LIVE virtual class during COVID with "kits" that include all the required ingredients + a libation. They've mastered the online format and the entire process was very simple. We selected the "Paella Night"class from their website to register and day of, we did curbside pickup of the Kit. Once we joined the class, there were 15 other participants so we opted to keep our camera off but others had theirs on. We were able to ask questions live via audio and chat. It was such a fun way to learn how to make this Spanish dish in the comfort of our home.  I'm already planning to sign-up for another class!

My sister and I took a breakfast baking class (bagels, scones, and biscuits and gravy ) and absolutely loved it! Chef AJ was so knowledgeable and made the class so much fun. All of the food turned out delicious and I loved that we were able to take home the recipes if we want to recreate them again, which I definitely will!

Simple menu, only one dish per course, unlike schools that have half a dozen dishes ongoing. Teachers are good but nothing fancy. It's inside the market so a bit hard to find and the hall traffic can be distracting. Bar service was really good and is a plus. Fun for what you pay!

This is a wonderful place! The chefs are amazing! We are fairly good in the kitchen but always learn some new tricks and pick up some great recipes in the classes. The ambience is so fun. You meet some new people, cook some great food and learn new skills. We love to stop in here for a cocktail too! The bar is warm and inviting. Always a good group of people there. Tonight we did a Japanese appetizer class. Delicious. I'm a pescatarian and the chefs always provide me with great options!

Market Brunch Class - A group of people, wearing aprons, are engaged in a cooking class at a kitchen counter with ingredients and utensils.

So cool. We did the brunch class with some friends and it was so much fun from beginning to end. Our favorite was the home fries and scone. Chef AJ kept us entertained! We want to go back for a private class with our friends!

Cattivella - My eating habit is so expensive because I can't resist the flourless chocolate lava cake, glass of Tuscan and a good time here.

SPACE: Located in an outdoor mall area, the space is easy to spot with ample parking. The interior is cozy with dim lighting and oak accents, while offering a variety of seating for parties of all sizes. A spacious outdoor patio is also available - perfect for the summertime! We were seating in the middle of the dining room, which was fine with us. The vibe is def cozy chic, which we found welcoming . SERVICE: I had booked reservations in advance, as Happy Hour here is a major hit. The friendly hostess seated us and our server followed shortly behind her. She was friendly, attentive, provided some good recommendations and was pleasant all around! SIPS: While our friend opted for a glass of wine, my husband stuck with water, while I looked at their mocktail menu. The options are limited, but available for a fun treat. I opted to try the "Little Kiss" which was a mixture of grapefruit, sparkling soda, and cranberry. The flavors were on point for the holiday season and tasted refreshing. I will admit, the glass it came in was a turn off. It was like a normal draft size class, which made me feel like I was about 9 years old. Bummer. Otherwise, there are plenty of options for drinkers alike - beer, wine, cocktails, you name it, they have it! SUSTENANCE: The food!! This spot is known for their rustic Italian and woodfired creations - and the menu is fire. I asked for some bread and oil to start - because that sounded divine. It came out quickly and was a nice intro to the meal. My friend opted for the Pasticcio - aka meatballs, three cheese tortellini, slow braised Bolognese, herby pomodoro, bechamel and parm brulee - which he found to be fantastic! It came with more bread, which was perfect for dipping. My friend got a kick out of the presentation as well - in a cast little iron cauldron! I chose the Seafood Pasta - a special of the night. I'll admit, I was a bit disappointed in my meal - as it was a mixture of squid, shrimp, scallops and other - in a red sauce. Not what I was expecting with seafood, but always down to try new things. The seafood flavor overpowered the dish - which made it hard to finish. I opted not to take it home. My husband noshed on the Brasato - Barolo wine slow braised angus short rip, creamy polenta and gremolata - which was DIVINE. The meat was SO tender, delicious and took on the rich wine flavor, perfect over potatoes! YUM! The pizza stood out to me as well, but considering Cattivella is classy, I opted for other. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and could see returning.

We had to ask for one persons food as it was completely forgotten and didn't come out until everyone was finished.
