We've been working together for a few months now- after I went to the doctor and realized my weight and health was out of control. I thought I knew everything there was to know about weight loss, but she has really opened my eyes to some very interesting facts regarding health and wellness. I learn more each week we meet and I love talking with her- she feels like a good friend though we recently met. She might want to add therapist to her job description as well. Haha! I have lost weight by cleaning up my diet based on Rachel's suggestions, and I feel so much better! Now we are focusing on movement for my body. This is a slow process for me, but Rachel always asks me what my body feels like doing and some of the time it happens and sometimes not. lol But she just helps me to move forward either way with no judgement or guilt. She told me right at the start this was going to be a long process with the smallest of changes, but the steps really add up and you feel the results! I was really feeling miserable physically when we met and Rachel has really helped me to turn it around- and this is only halfway through my time with her! If you need any help with health, fitness and wellness goals I highly recommend you reach out to her! And no, I was not paid to write this review. Lol It's completely honest because I want to let everyone know that Rachel is awesome!

I have always struggled with what I…read morewant to be controlled by medicine, and what would be good to consider a more natural holistic approach. What I learned from her is priceless, and were also things I don't feel as though doctors would have ever shared with me. When my hormones were off, I struggled with getting a doctor involved. Rachel got me to do a hormone panel to evaluate where I was. Then we attacked it head on, seeing what would be best for my levels. Something I learned was, if I had chosen to address that change with drugs/prescription from my doctor, my body would eventually forget how to produce the hormone that was low. I was so pleased with how things went by taking a natural approach with supplements. I have been on a training ride or two with her, and she is so encouraging. I can only imagine what it would be like to train with her on a more committed level!

When I contacted Kimsey at PH&W six months ago, I was miserable. I felt like crap every single day…read more I was severely fatigued, had insomnia and experienced anxiety and panic attacks almost daily. I was almost 300 lbs and at a loss for how I could turn tings around on my own. Enter Kimsey. After our first consultation, I knew my life was going to change. Kimsey has an almost freakish knowledge and understanding of how the body works. You can hear the passion and excitement in her voice when she is explaining its processes and protocols. She listens to all your complaints, your goals and takes an exhaustive assessment. It's funny because I remember her almost lighting up like a Christmas tree as I summed up my problems. After listening actively and empathetically, she tells you the good news- she can absolutely help you! She then explains what she suspects are the causes and proposes a plan of action. It's as if she looks at all the puzzle pieces you dumped out in front of her and she just gets it. She can just see how they fit together. She will order lab work to confirm her hypothesis and then get you started on a plan to reverse it all. Understanding the root causes of ailments is something medical doctors often don't care to learn. They will prescribe medicines to treat each of your various symptoms forever and never even ponder how they are related. They almost always leave you feeling a level guilt that you must be doing something wrong to have these chronic problems. But Kimsey, through explaining how your systems interrelate, can help you understand that some of your issues are due to things your body is lacking overproducing, etc. Of course, you will have some lifestyle changes to make and some aren't easy. But when you understand the reason why your body needs you to do things a certain way, it makes it easier to commit. Kimsey is there with you through it all, making all necessary adjustments as your health and wellness improve. I am down 23 lbs, I sleep soundly each night. I have come off of 2 of my medications. The anxiety and panic attacks are very rare now. I have energy and I feel in control of my health. Kimsey is an actual genius with a heart of gold. Best investment I could have made in myself! NOTE- YOU CAN LIVE ANYWHERE AND BE HER CLIENT! Kimsey conducts her visits via zoom meetings. (Like Skype). She orders labwork and everything is sent to your home, you can go to a local lab to have blood drawn and they send it back and she gets the results to share with you!

About a year and a half ago, after having three children followed by nearly two years of pandemic…read moreliving, I knew that I needed to change up my fitness and nutrition habits. After many, many search sessions, I kept coming back to Body by Emilee and finally took the plunge to set up my initial consultation. And now, I'd probably describe myself as a superfan of Emilee's. From the get-go, Emilee was really approachable, kind, and very easy to work with. We started with nutrition sessions, and while I was definitely not eating the most healthy diet, I never felt bad talking about my habits. Emilee's approach is a "sure and steady" way of looking at things. Instead of something drastic we were able to look at my habits and make small, consistent changes over the course of the past year that has served me really well. Plus, nothing is off-limits. Emilee believes in creating a sustainable lifestyle of nutrition and exercise. And I'm more of a "moderation in everything" kinda gal, so I couldn't handle someone telling me there'd be no more, oh, I don't know, fried chicken or champagne or cake. From there, I was also able to add personal strength training with Emilee two days a week. While the sessions are never easy, Emilee is always very mindful about how hard we are working and adjusting my weights or my exercises to have maximum impact on my goals. And working out with her is honestly just a ton of fun. Beyond the excellent coaching aspect, Emilee has built a solid community of women around her, both the folks she coaches as well as just the people she knows in the world. She hosts regular events for everyone who trains with her that span a wide variety of topics, everything from a session on learning to add meditation into your routine to a spin class. Every time I attend one of the events, I marvel at how much I genuinely like everyone that is there. For me, a number on the scale wasn't (and isn't) my ultimate goal, but I have lost nearly 30 pounds over the past year, and a half (all the Covid weight and most of the baby weight), but best of all is how strong and healthy I feel. My body feels really good, and I feel really good about my habits these days. Finding Body by Emilee was like finding a light at the end of the tunnel, and my sessions with her have been such a bright light in each of my weeks.

She checks in with you and creates a holistic plan catered to your needs. I can't recommend her enough!  I will continue to leverage her further as coach in the future, as her method is aligned to what works for me!
