The dryer parts were replaced and during my discussion with "Chris" the service tech we did decide to try less soap in the washing machine and see if it stops the noise before tearing it apart and replacing parts. The following day, I washed a light load and when I went to dry them, the dryer was making the same horrible noise after having the parts replaced. I reached out to the service tech and sent him a video of the dryer, making the horrible noise, even with nothing in the dryer. Because this has been an issue since day one when we bought them, and we have been given the biggest run around and lied to now for 4 months. I requested that we returned the washer and dryer and buy a different brand (speed Queen). I just want a working washer and dryer!!!! Thursday March 26, 2026 Lewis Chuck, who sold me the washer and dryer called and offered to give us $1200.00 for the new set we just paid $2216.75 for! In return, we return the washer, dryer, pedestals. *PLUS!!! LEWIS TOLD ME, "YOU ALSO HAVE TO REMOVE YOUR YELP REVIEW".******** I told Lewis we were NOT going to accept $1200.00 for a defective washer and dryer we paid $2216.75 for. What "really upset me" is, I felt like I was being bribed into removing my "HONEST YELP REVIEW" and "UPDATES". Bribery is illegal!!! I showed her the laptop my son sent to my phone. She immediately recognized this model and asked me to follow her. I was excited to see this much-needed version in person. I asked Anna whether it was in stock and she said she'd check. Anna went to the stockroom while I texted my son in the Bay Area to inform him I finally found the exact one he recommended - and it was reduced by $200.00! A few moments later, Anna returned, holding the box, and exclaimed joyfully, "I found it!" After completing my purchase, I informed Anna I wanted to speak with her supervisor to share my favorable experience with her. She told me his name is Justin and provided a description of him. I relayed to Justin how wonderful, attentive, alert and prepared Anna was. She made my time at Best Buy 100% positive by demonstrating she is someone who wants to do their job.

The water was Luke warm. Upon inspection the freezer was defrosting, outshine popsicles were literally running down the inside! We called Tom's Appliance repair. The Technician (Brad) told dispatcher he could swing by before end of day and look at our refrigerator. Meanwhile we emptied everything that was salvageable ( flight of the bumblebee) into our coolers to try and save what we could . Brad came less than 2 hours after the first call, troubleshot the refrigerator ( older fridge) actually had the failed part in his vehicle, gave us an estimate and proceeded with the repair. Within 3 hours of our first call, the refrigerator was repaired and blowing ice cold again! I cannot say how much we appreciate the professional treatment by Tom's. Beginning with the first call to the dispatcher who bent over backwards to assist us, to Brad coming and saving our bacon, literally. We have always been happy with Tom's service but, this was OVER THE TOP. We cannot thank the employees of Tom's for the extra effort put forth to help out a customer. I went to the fridge section, where I was told they were in aisle 16. While in aisle 16, a gentleman showed me a package with two silver metal ones enclosed. Besides being ugly, they were horrifically overpriced. With authority, he informed me that's all Lowe's carried.   Not to be outwitted, thanks to OpenAI assuring me what I needed was at Lowe's, I aimlessly wandered the aisles until I stopped Allen. I told him I was looking for colorful magnet clips for my fridge to hold up pretty, printed images. He instantly said, "Oh, right! They're back here on aisle 40." He pulled one off the hanging display and handed it to me. I was astounded someone took the time to track down exactly what I needed. There were two tiny do-dads attached and I asked what they were, thinking they must be new-fangled wine corks. Allen said they're bread ties and showed me how they work.   Lowe's is a wonderful, clean, safe store for your home needs. If you happen to see Allen in the aisles, ask him for help locating whatever you need. He is patient, friendly and willing to look at his Lowe's phone to search for your needle in a haystack.

Going in it looks pretty much like Home Depot, but with a different color scheme. Again not a lot of service staff to direct you to where you wanna go. But better than Home Depot though. Walking around I did see the door knob locks, and I did need to replace one of mine to the garage from the inside of the house. I think they call that a "man" door ... weird name for a door I say! Anyways, pick out a doorknob lock. Then I wanted to find the chainsaws. I wanted a small cordless one. I did find the power tools and the cordless chainsaws, but most were way bigger than I wanted to deal with. I wanna keep my feet and hands! I did find some smaller ones, but they were name brands and cost way more than I wanted to pay for something I was just gonna use occasionally. Well, OK, I did get a doorknob lock so that's OK.
