The problem with Everest is the cable functionality. Everything from the Guide to DVR menu looks cheap and only has basic functionality. The DVR doesn't actually record shows that it should be recording. So we frequently were missing episodes of such great shows as "The Soup" and "My Fair Brady". We'll eventually switch back to Everest when we get mad at Time Warner's service again (we're close). But, Everest just gives us a whole new set of problems. Although they have better HD service than Time Warner.

Even though he cancelled my first appointment and used a clearly false excuse, he ended up rescheduling and making it out to complete the job (was very late though). We were content with his work and asked him to come back for another job which he was also late for. This time he was installing a floating entertainment center for us which he did a poor job on but we didnt realize how bad it was until after we already paid him and he left. We asked for him to come back and alter it (we even offered to pay for the inconvenience) and he gave us a new appointment for FRI 12/18. Once that day arrived, he text us saying he would be late and we said that is no problem. Then once we got closer to our new appointment time, he text again saying he would be late again. So we then rescheduled for today TUE 12/22 at noon and even received a text confirmation. It is now 2:45PM and we have been trying to reach Jason all day. He has not replied to our messages or returned any of our phone calls. Do not use this miserable excuse of a business. And today the same thing....first 1pm and now they say they can't tell us. This service sucks. We talked to leadership today and they said they have a cell based backup system but we have to pay to get it installed and pay a monthly fee. Why? We are already paying for a reliable system which spectrum is not providing. If Spectrum and their Leadership dept would realize their products and service are poor, then they would provide a business like ours this service. Again, that's what we originally signed up for.
