The worst customer experience ever. I moved my mom into a senior living facility yesterday. I had set up to have her cable and phone set up between noon and one. No show, no call. I called them, and after a total run-a-round of pass the buck, and an hour of being on hold, I was told that "someone" screwed up and they didn't have record of the install. I spoke to a supv, who again put me on hold and passed me, again, to someone else. Then I was told that they would find someone to get out there and would call me back. Guess what, no call. So, I called them again. This time, I was on the phone (mostly on hold) for over 2 more hours. The result of that call was that, even though nobody called me back, they can see that a tech was scheduled to be there between 5 and 6. Guess, what? No show again. So, I called again. Well, oops! They are so sorry...again. That tech was scheduled for an existing problem, not a new service call! Well, there's a problem all right! AND, he didn't show up anyway! Then I was told that "someone" made another error, and her account was built as a govt account and they cannot make any changes to her account until that is corrected, which will be 24-72 hours. THEN, they can schedule a tech to install her cable and phone. I called them again this morning and they cannot even tell me when she will have her phone and cable. And they had the nerve to tell me that there may be a charge for the tech to come out! I told them what they could do with that idea. I spent 7 hours trying to work this out with this lousy company, most of it on hold being passed around to another idiot. These people do not have a clue what they are doing. My mom is elderly and has no phone in her apt to call me or anyone else. I even called AT&T this morning trying to find a way out of this mess but they started down the same ugly path. I am beyond frustrated. If something happens and my mom is unable to call for help, my attorney will be the first call that I make. Shame on you Spectrum/Time Warner, you absolutely suck. read more
