NO waiting to be helped, unlike other local Spectrum stores. Traded in a phone for my occasionally exasperating husband, and received exceptional help from the very patient and very knowledgable Aryonna. read more

Said they couldn't cancel my internet at the store so he gave me a phone number. Phone number didn't work so I looked up the correct one online. I called and they said that he COULD cancel in the store the guy just didn't want to. He also gave me that bad number. Luckily I had time today so I could do everything at the store even though the guy was bu llshitting me. All these companies are so scammy. Att, spectrum, etc all nasty. UPDATE: Be careful! I handed my all of my equipment to the male individual at this store and asked if he needed me to do anything else. He said no and I left. He told spectrum that I only handed in some of my equipment not all of it. Not only are they incapable of doing their jobs they are also thieves. read more

Walked in to return equipment as cancelled service. I walked in to a storm of what sounded like a more experienced person perhaps the supervisor expressing his discontent to repeating himself to another employee helping a customer.. I guess it was all in good fun because they all laughed after the other clerk got it figured out. Just not what I expected to hear. Another clerk helped me after I checked in at the kiosk. Returned my equipment and got my receipt. read more

Spectrum wifi always has issues and outages and constantly disconnect me from the wifi. When I get home from work and school I should be able to use the damn internet that I pay for and it can never just work. read more

Service is reliable enough, but they've gotten rid of reasonably priced plans and pretty much force higher speeds (& therefore cost) down your throat, even when you didn't ask for it, don't need it, and don't want it. Typical greedy corporate scum. Broadband needs much better regulation. read more

Called to cancel service in July and still being billed in September. They claim call was disconnected and request was not completed. Horrible customer service. Do not contract with Spectrum! read more

Needed to return equipment because I changed providers due to price. Went to the store on 119th. 4 employees, one customer ahead of me. Rude is the best word I can think of to describe them. Their cable & internet ok. attitude in general sucks. read more

Wi-Fi in general decent nothing special but it is very unreliable and they take forever to fix it, personally I haven't had WiFi in three weeks and have called them over 10 times they have told me the same stuff over and over again but nothing changes, terrible and lazy company I would not get this WiFi read more

TV: so many issues. The guide doesn't work all the time. can't access the menu to watch recorded shows. Internet: Constant outages and when there are no outages I have to reboot the modem at least once a day. In addition, they keep raising prices. Totally unreliable. Will be replacing them ASAP. read more

Never ever do business with this company. I had a sales rep come to my door offering 1 month free to try their new fiber internet. She said there was no obligation and all I had to do was call before 30 days and she would pick the equipment up. Now Spectrum is threatening to ruin my credit unless I pay them $98. I never even opened the box to try it and I called the sales rep within 20 days to pick up the device Please don't trust their lying tactics to get their equipment in your house. read more

We were loyal to Time Werner Cable from 2007 until it became Spectrum in 2014 which totals 17 years of loyalty. They have raised our rates every other month for 2023 and 2024 with no added service to their platform. Now when we want to leave Spectrum in the MIDDLE OF THE MONTH they are telling us they "do not prorate credits for unused service". Are you kidding me? This is more of the "surge pricing" and terrible customer service we are all receiving. To be sure statistics state cable companies will be going out of business soon because there is so much streaming. Did you know all we have to do is buy a cheap little antenna to install in the back of our tv ($25 Amazon) and we can watch all local channels free. Get a Roku only $45/one time and you own it with several free streaming apps, so why deal with an arrogant cable provider when you can spend $45.00 for Roku, own it and forget cable tv. read more

Aloha from Hawaii, I wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks to the wonderful Donnalee from Kansas City, who graciously assisted me with my Spectrum account today. Her helpfulness and friendly demeanor truly brightened my day. Mahalo! read more

Spectrum is a miserable dishonest unethical company. The refuse to pro rate fees based on when someone signs up or drops in a given month. I dropped 2 weeks into my last billing cycle. They refused to pro rate my last month and in essence are forcing me to pay for services I am not using. A horrible company. Get Google Fiber. They are way better read more

Horrible! Lots of outages and I went one day over on billing because our loft witched services and had to pay for the whole month because they do not prorate. We didn't even have it as an option and we paid for it. If you have a choice I definitely wouldn't recommend. read more

Worst service ever! It took over1 month to get connected and they double charged me! Continually have service interruptions. If you have another option go with them not Spectrum!!!!! read more

I got away from Spectrum because after 7 years of their business and no loyalty to their customers, they kept raising their rates $5 a year - and I was okay with that - but then in one year they jumped it up $30 ? And that was for the slow speed. I canceled at the store and yet they keep sending me bills - so good luck on collecting Ha. I found out later that you can go with companies like T-Mobile that are a heck of a lot cheaper ! with fast speed and unlimited ! So why, I don't understand why ? anybody ! would go with Spectrum,I have no idea ? unless you love to spend and waste money ! They were a better company as Time Warner and not GREEDY like they are now. read more

After spending most of my adult life dealing with the likes of American Cablevision, Roadrunner, Time Warner, and also Spectrum, I was thrilled to finally be able to be done with this company. The service has always been pretty lousy, and the customer service is atrocious. Random downtimes, and always at inconvenient times - well no more! Today I got to go in to drop my cable modem off as I begin life in a house with Google Fiber! But Spectrum wasn't finished with inconveniencing me, no sir. They wouldn't take my cable modem, and had informed me I had to take the box to a UPS Store, despite being told on the phone I could drop it off at a Spectrum store. The sheet the person gave me had a UPS Store address that was 25 minutes away as the store "closest to our location" - which is just absolutely false. So I'm on my way to drop this modem off to a UPS Store, realizing that as my customer experience ends with them, it was they who got the last laugh with a final inconvenient kick in the nuts. And that's what having Spectrum as a cable/internet/etc provider is: an endless inconvenient kick in the nuts. read more

There is not a zero so I had to pick 1. Wait till Tuesday Spectrum will be in my rear view mirror. I am done with being charged ridiculous prices for pathetic service. Once again no service, but does anyone see any credits on their bill. A whole lot money for a whole lot nothing. 24 hour loop of reruns. There has to be a better tv service. Thank God I am done with this wanna be company. read more

I have internet and TV for 2 months and had to call tech support 5 times whereas a tech guy came out twice however issues still persist!!!!

Spectrum is the worst! They have terrible customer service, and they only give good rates to new customers. Once your initial great rate has ended they jack up the rates a lot! If you call in to see if you can get a discount that's even close to what they're offering to new customers they treat you like crap and give you nothing off. They act like they're 80+ dollars a month for Internet only service is a really great deal, and that is with frequent buffering. Get real! I am so done with them. read more

We are new customers and already have had to get 3 different remotes. We had to add on a different kind of box because we couldn't fast forward, pause or rewind and we were told with adding on this other device that we could. It didn't work. We called back and got a different employee and that person said that the person we talked to was incorrect and even our D.V.R. was incapable of any of that. Nothing has worked correctly and I have had in the past ( living in different parts of the country) many other cable and internet and spectrum is hands down the absolute worst ! Spectrum does not even deserve a 1 star. I wish I could put a negative- star. read more

Absolutely horrible service and NO RELIABILITY. Internet and Cable TV service is down again. Ready to switch providers!!!!

got to be honest. The spectrum rep at my home right now knows less about wireless internet than I do. every time they send someone to diagnose the issue they blame it on something different to buy time. They don't have a clue. read more

Horrific. I wouldn't wish this company on my worst enemy. I have TWO accounts (business and home) and if I had another choice, I would jump on it in a second. They give you the run around. There's no other way to say it. You'll call for assistance with an outage and they'll give you the typical "unplug it" nonsense. After calling three or four times (on back to back days) they might actually get a technician out. When they do, expect him to be annoyed and eventually say there's an issue that he can't fix, that's not your fault, that they'll have to send someone else out for. When will that person come out? No one knows. Will they call you before they come? Nah. Will they let you know when the problem has been fixed? Probably not. This EXACT issue has happened to me TWICE in 9 months. For business, essentially, they lost my number and cancelled my service due to a porting issue. I've called everyday for six days, received a different person each time, and been given the run around every. single. time. They have NO IDEA what they are doing and every single day the new person tells me something different and admits that the person the day before was uneducated. I've been out of a business phone for EIGHT DAYS and this company sees no issue with it. Not only that, but now they want to raise my bill. Run. I don't write reviews like this and I'm not a crazy person. Just trust me. If you have another option, take it. read more

This is not really good because we went to go pay our bill on Sunday and we checked in maps and said it was open to 12-5 and went at 2 and they were closed so we wasted money on gas. read more

Worst access and customer service. Can't even get my address or account straight after hours on the phone. Canceling today

I tried Spectrum and I had trouble all the time. My internet would drop constantly and the TV would act up weekly. I can't even count how many times I had to go to my basement and unplug the modem to reset it. It was the worst service I ever had, but what can you do. Almost all of the cable services increase their prices yearly until you can't afford them anymore. Spectrum increased mine 20% in one year, so I canceled them. Then they charged me for the whole month instead of the 11 days I actually had their service, 176 dollars! I was so angry, and felt as if I had been robed at gun point. I now have Google fiber and You Tube tv and so far everything is great and streaming is a great picture. read more

Spectrum allowed a man I did contract work for to open a fraudulent account in my name. I called their fraud department to notify them and they had me change my pin and gave me reassurances that they'd protect me from further fraud. I called back two weeks later to pay the final bill and close the account only to be told that the account had been switched out of my name. They clearly do not have basic security safe guards in place and their Wi-Fi is poor. I switched to google fiber and it's cheaper and much better than Wi-Fi than Spectrum and I don't have to worry about my personal information being stolen and used to open fraudulent accounts. Steer clear of Spectrum!! read more

Slow!!! I had faster upload speeds last century. It's not just a matter of how long a transfer takes. Some technologies, such as streaming, require constant, sustained bandwidth. Others have timeframes they have to be completed within. read more

I dropped my old equipment off at the Westport store. The rep told me 5-6 times "I could take it to UPS, I was suppose to take to UPS." Spectrum clearly says you can drop off equipment to any store. I even made an appointment to accomplish. The guy simply didn't want to do his job, rather argue and raise his voice. He was a total ASS. I've been a customer for over 30 years and cutting the cord with latest ESPN debacle. Went to YouTube TV, simple to sign-up and navigate and best of all, never have to deal with Spectrum again. Horrible customer service, product and reliability. See Ya Spectrum! read more

Sorry to put it on this store. Not their fault. But anyone considering Spectrum, don't. Their customer service is 0 help. Had poor service with DirectTV so we went with Spectrum and their policy is a buyout of former cancellation fees but they require a "invoice". This is not the service you want for internet or TV. BTW...I haven't had it since Friday and now its Monday morning and they'll send a tech out here on Wednesday? What a joke...been with them for 10years and this is what I get? The lawn service hit the central box and tore up some lines for several homes..(I investigated and found the issue). Missing out on pay (work from home) and all their service reps can say is "I'm sorry". What a JOKE !!!!!!! read more

I have very mixed feelings about Spectrum / Time Warner Cable. We initially opted to have them provide internet because it was affordable and we didn't need excessively high speed. However, just recently our complex transitioned to Spectrum's community wide service (e.g. only Spectrum, internet and cable at a flat rate). As just an internet provider, they were fine. We had a basic plan, could be streaming and on our computers/phones without a problem. With the complex switch, we decided to switch as the complex offered a reduced rate. However everything about the transition was misleading. After a series of unnecessarily long installs to prepare for renewal period, we were told it was "move in ready". This was not the case. When trying to use the code we were given, we could not connect. Cue a long call to Spectrum, most of which was spent on hold, to find out we needed another box. Thankfully this location was open late and had what we needed. We ventured up at 7:00 on a Saturday night. We were able to exchange our previous equipment to get the necessary box for the transition. Verdict so far: cable freezes frequently and shuts off, audio doesn't always match the picture and gets worse over time. So far internet has been fine. The space is itself is very nice, as were the people working. The woman who helped us seemed like she training, but seemed willing to learn and like she wanted to help. Giving them two stars for the physical people who helped us get set up and the space. Will update/edit review depending on how this service continues to go... read more

This company is intractable when it comes to payment method. Only auto withdrawal on a date of their determination. I'm retired and cannot budget this. I needed the date changed . Decent service, until it rains. $70 a month for the worst upload in the business (which they say "they're working on") and no internet all day when it rains anything harder than a light pour. Incredibly disappointing. Only reason I have this service is because it's the only reasonable one around, and that's saying something. Steer clear unless it's your only option read more

There are some beautiful moments in the world; getting paid on a perfect spring Friday, graduating college and letting your accomplishments sink in, or maybe it's the birth of your child. One thing is for sure, those moments are trumped by packing up your Time Warner Cable box and dropping it off, ridding yourself of the sorrows that are known are here as TWC. First things first, PRO TIP alert: Don't ever call these guys to try to cancel your service. Just pack up your box, head out and drop it. If they get you on the phone they'll put you on hold and generally take forever to process it, and you won't get a confirmation. If you go in the store, it's done. I also have to say the storefront here in Westport was surprisingly nice, as were the people. This one star is not for these fine folks doing their job... it's for the soul-sucking, spotty service, overcharging nightmare that is TWC. I'll always remember when we first signed up with them on a recorded line and they said my monthly internet & TV bill would be $84. I was so innocent then, believing that to be true. Of course our first bill clocked in around $116, which led to many calls, many manager conversations, and eventually, no resolution. They didn't stop there, it went to $129, $145, $160...Outta control. To top it off, I'll state the obvious: Their service SUCKS. The internet cut out multiple times a day and ran slowly, and I went over two months watching a scrambled mess of Royals games where both the sound and picture cut out every two seconds. So while I don't know what the future brings with Google Fiber, it has to be at least a touch better, right? We'll find out, but I am so thrilled that there is finally a competitor to TWC that will allow people in this city to break free of their tyranny! read more

We recently were forced to change from time Warner. We lost whole house TV. Which means we can only watch shows on the TV they were recorded on. Channels I used to watch are now restricted so they cost$ extra. The box no longer shows the time . It is only displayed when TV is on. The other TV has the old Time-Warner screen on it even though the service is thru Spectrum. This is only the first week I bet we have a lot unpleasant surprises ahead. read more

I was in this store a couple of weeks ago to START service and pick up the equipment. There was a long line when I arrived and you had to sign in at a kiosk then wait in line. I have a very well behaved service dog that accompanied me and I did not have her vest on due to extreme heat that day. When we walked in the gentleman behind the counter informed me that dogs could not be in the building. When I informed him that she was a service dog he said that it was "store policy" that service dogs had to have their vest on. (Completely unlawful, btw). I showed him her credentials and informed him that his store policy did not override FEDERAL LAW. There were two people working the desk that day and they BOTH decided to stop assisting the long line of customers in the store so that they could try to force me out. They said that I could sign in but that I "wasn't going to be helped". Now, mind you, my service dog was sitting calmly at my side the entire time. They ended up calling their security service (4 officers!) who came in and had to explain to the Spectrum employees that THEY were in the wrong. I then heard one of the employees say that they "didn't really mind the dog but that it was her attitude that was the problem". When the officers came over to me and my service dog (again sitting quietly by my side) they said that they explained to the employees that they were wrong and that they were there to ensure that I received service. However, both employees continued to refuse me service and had to call someone from the back to help me. Unbelievable!!! Thank GOD for educated public servants. If I didn't need internet immediately for my partner that day I would have walked out of the store and gotten rid of all of my Spectrum services. It's too bad that they have a monopoly. read more
