Roasted Carrot sandwich, salad, Broccoli soup, coffee and raspberry scone are all highly recommend!!

I come to this café frequently... I love how peaceful and bright it is in the atrium and the food I have gotten has always been extremely delicious! I usually get the turkey pastrami or the chicken quesadilla. Today I got a Tahini & Caraway Roasted Carrot sandwich and loved it as well as the accompanying salad. The broccoli bacon cheddar soup, coffee and raspberry lemon scone were all excellent as usual for me!

Real good sandwich, and good fresh salad. It's not to high priced ether. You can go to the cafe without admission to the conservatory.

I wish I could say it was worth the wait. We ordered the "award winning" breakfast tacos, the Nutella pancake balls with bacon, and two orange juices. The bill came to nearly $50 and then we were asked for a tip. That last part stung a little, considering the service model is essentially counter-order takeout style. A friendly staff member directed us to grab a menu, decide what we wanted, and then come tell her. We did sit down and have our food brought to us, but it still felt more like a fast-casual setup than one that warrants a tip prompt. The restaurant itself is pleasant, clean, open, and airy with a nice patio out front. No complaints there. The food, however, was underwhelming. The breakfast tacos, supposedly the star of the show, were bland across the board and fell apart almost immediately. Three small tacos for $20 is a tough sell when there's nothing memorable about them. The Nutella pancake balls were decent but forgettable. The real highlight? The bacon, but that's not exactly a high bar. As for the orange juice, it comes pre-made and refrigerated near the register, which felt a little out of place for a spot with this kind of reputation. I genuinely don't understand the hype around the food here. The price point would be justified if the flavors delivered, but they simply don't. The staff were kind and the space is lovely, I just can't recommend making a special trip for the menu.

It's a freestanding building, remodeled from something else. I had assumed it would be tucked into one of the little strips in Bexley, but it's just east of the main retail area. Parking lot and street parking. Super friendly service, and fast; food was up in five minutes. I had figured it would be a better choice than fast food, which was my other option, and it was indeed better, and just as fast. I wasn't super hungry, so I got the purple latkes and the elote, two apps. The latkes were excellent. Crisp but soft inside, tasty. Served with sour cream and applesauce. Good applesauce, not just a little cup of Mott's. Sprinkled with scallions. The elote was good, not great. Corn is out of season, of course. The flavor was decent although the cheese and all the seasoning kind of slid off in my hands. A little messy. Again, to be expected. But I had hoped for a little more favor. They do have assorted hot sauces all around the dining area. I also had a Horchata, small but heavily spiced and flavorful. The main drawback is the price. Two fairly small apps and a drink, for $30. It's good stuff though, but it's not some place I can eat very often. But for breakfast or brunch, or occasional other stops, it is a good choice.

First time my wife and daughter stopped before our daughter headed overseas for two years in the Peace Corps. Scotty''s is super close and convenient to the airport. Scotty learned of the imminent departure and came with cookies and treats for the long flight! And now this morning it was another airport drop off. It was my turn, dining alone but nothing about a table for one at Scotty's is lonely. The staff are immediately welcoming and every customer is every employee's charge. Four different people helped me or just checked in. The Gina breakfast combos have lots to offer for breakfast. But I was thrilled this 9:30 am to be assured the whole menu was available. I was looking for something less common and was excited to see potato latkes with sour cream and apple sauce as an option. That would have been great but then the waitress (Salome maybe) said, "Do you like corned beef?" The Schmoozer is 3 enormous latkes with thinly shaved and lightly grilled corn beef on top with an over easy egg atop that. Seriously, I can declare victory for finding something I'd never had before. Never would have found it without the nudge. Had to cut myself off with all the coffee offers. Just a great vibe. You rarely see a 4.9 rating and even more rarely that high based on so many reviews. But I understand why - like in so many things in life, it is about the people. And the joy they bring to every conversation. And I will just add, in this age when some would divide us, this dining room is filled with all manner of folks, reveling together over food in fellowship.

We lived in Columbus all our lives and have never been. We always hear great things about it and it always wins best of Columbus Steakhouse. Upon entering, we were very excited. We got seated by the restroom and there was a few people in line. The place was also very very loud! The people who sat next to us were screaming at each other just to hear each other. We ordered our drinks. I got the $13 glass of Malbec and it was huge and delicious. My husband got the Old Fashioned. Drinks were delicious. We got our roll and butter and we ordered the calamari to start. Calamari was so good! It was crispy and hot but not greasy. It was also very tender and not chewy and dipped in the sweet Asian sauce...it was delicious. We chose right! I loved it so much. The waiter also brought out cocktail sauce that had a little kick to it. I ordered the Filet Mignon 8 oz. I had to ask for the price because it sad market price. It was embarrassing but I didn't want a big surprise. Our steak came with 2 sides! I ordered the side salad and the garlic spinach. My husband ordered the Porterhouse 20 oz. With the Ceasar salad and baked potato. We also ordered the Mac and cheese side. The salads were not the best. The Ceasar salad was super fishy. The side salad had way too much blue cheese. We were getting worried about our dinner. Our steaks came out and all our worries went away. Best steak and best sides ever!!! My steak was cooked to perfection. It was so tender and perfectly seasoned. It was the best steak I ever had. My spinach was so good too. I loved the Mac and cheese too! It was the best I've ever had! We were stuffed and left so happy. It was very expensive but worth it for special occasions.

Nothing disappointed but my personal favorite was the shrimp cocktail. Next came the entrees and once again, everything was great and cooked perfectly. You really cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. We had to finish up with dessert and cocktails, especially when we saw a brandy Alexander on the menu. This is one of the best restaurants in Columbus on our opinion.

He was my server on a previous visit and had the same poor attitude then, so unfortunately today's experience was not surprising. Hospitality and customer service matter, especially in the restaurant industry, and a tip is not automatically given it's earned through good service and professionalism. Today, we went in and the man working the bar was once again rude and unwelcoming. When you ask for something, there's no "yes," "no problem," or even basic communication -- just a look. My son ordered a side of bacon with his meal, and they only brought one slice. We asked twice for the second slice and still never received it. At no point did he apologize, acknowledge the mistake, or communicate with us professionally. He eventually removed it from the bill, but the issue was never really the bacon it was the attitude and complete lack of hospitality. The food here is honestly good, which is why I've continued to come back. However, experiences like this make the environment feel uncomfortable and uninviting. I would probably visit much more often if the staff were friendlier, more attentive, and actually made customers feel welcome.

This East Main Street, Bexley location, is in the former Jeni's Ice cream spot and the cafe is a perfect fit for the space. I did have to wait a few minutes due to the lunch rush but when I walked in and provided my name for the pick up order, they pulled the order and started making it. I am really loving the Tropical Smoothies as a meal, or a treat.
