There have even been times when I brought a vehicle in for something simple, like replacing a headlight bulb, and they didn't charge me for the labor. More importantly, Dan has been willing to tell me when something isn't worth fixing like when a part might make a little noise but is otherwise perfectly fine, and replacing it just to eliminate a squeak wouldn't be worth the money. The shop knew exactly what I purchased both when I scheduled and again when I arrived. After the service was completed, they suddenly added an extra $45 in "fees" that were supposed to be included. There was zero mention of any additional cost beforehand only after the work was already done. When I called to question it, the owner was rude and dismissive, hiding behind "fine print" that still does not justify the upcharge or their lack of transparency. This is nothing more than bait-and-switch pricing. If you value honesty and clear pricing, stay far away and take your business elsewhere. Multiple customers have had the same experience buying your Groupon and then being told afterward to "read the fine print." The mechanic basically told me that I would not have been able to fix it myself (I definitely could have). So, I just wanted my car fixed then so I let them do it. I waited in the waiting area because I knew it'd be a ten minute max repair. I waited for an hour, and in the last 5 minutes of the hour they replaced the part. They then charged me for more than the part is worth plus the whole hour, so I ended up paying 4x what I would have if I did it myself.
