I took my car here a few months ago. The mechanic that I was speaking to was extremely rude. I was stating how I looked online at the diagnostic report and it seemed like a really easy fix. The mechanic basically told me that I would not have been able to fix it myself (I definitely could have). So, I just wanted my car fixed then so I let them do it. I waited in the waiting area because I knew it'd be a ten minute max repair. I waited for an hour, and in the last 5 minutes of the hour they replaced the part. They then charged me for more than the part is worth plus the whole hour, so I ended up paying 4x what I would have if I did it myself. read more

I use Concord Auto for all my automotive needs, they are always prompt , courteous, reliable and fair. They will always call me before work is done with an estimate, will show me exactly what needs to be done to my car if they have it on the lift. They are also willing to prioritize what needs to be done asap and what can wait, so that I do not have a big bill all at one time. I have even called them when I have been traveling out of town, explained what was going on with the car & they would let me know if it was something that can wait till I got back in town or if it was something that needed to be addressed sooner. My boyfriend also takes all his vehicles to Concord Auto & when he was working took all the fleet work vehicles to Concord. Highly recommend. They treat you like family. read more

Don't take your car here unless you like to be ripped off. They replaced the wrong item on my car, claimed it was fixed, and sent me on my way. Turned out, the sensor they replaced (which was never bad) was the wrong one so I had to buy the correct one and replace it again, once I got back home in Michigan. Had to drive home the entire trip from Mentor to Detroit with no coolant temp gauge. These idiots replaced the sensor that drives the coolant temp gauge in the cluster and not the one that the engine's computer uses. Regardless, both sensors were never bad. Guess what, my problem all along was the fuel pump like I suggested to them initially. This place is filled with bunch of shade tree mechanics that will try to sell you a battery also for no reason. I took my truck here about 3 years ago and the same battery is still going strong. read more

i just needed 2 tires i bought online, mounted and balanced. due to other commitments, i was concerned about being able to get this done quickly and properly. it doesnt get any better! i drove up and was taken in almost immediately. they estimated they would be done in an hour and it actually took less. not only that, unlike other places i've been, the lugnuts are not over tightened and the tire pressures are spot on with the specs. having shopped around for prices beforehand, concord was less than most as well. i'll be back! jim, a satisfied customer. read more

I went to these guys just for an estimate because I was pretty sure a tie rod was bad 3 months after I had it done, so I wanted a second opinion before I took it back to my mechanic. These a**holes told me I need 3 ball joints ($600 worth of work) as well as a new tie rod. Took it to my mechanic and he said I need no new ball joints at all!!!!! Also, they gave my friend a $600 quote for his muffler last week, charged him $1,100 for it, and now his muffler has fallen off again. Avoid these guys!!!! Big scammers! read more

It seems they like to pull a random number out of their head for the bill. I went in for a simple seasonal change to my car and they told me I needed multiple things done to my car. They continued, without my permission or knowledge, to devalue my car by drilling a hole in the body so they could "properly ground the sound system", which I already had at the best place possible, and then charged me for the parts and labor for that. Every time I go here, something else is wrong with my car as I'm leaving. Long story short, do not let them touch your car or credit card, turn around and run! read more

Maybe they are okay if you buy your tires there. Though we didn't buy our tires there, we tried to get a replacement tire on a road hazard warranty and they messed around for a week and basically did nothing. Will never go back. I see they advertise "lowest prices" but they do not match the prices on TireRack.com and other places do. read more
