After my parked Tesla Model 3 was hit, the person's insurance led me to D & S. D & S received my…read morevehicle the morning of 10/29 and did not assess and submit a supplemental until 11/11 which the insurance approved immediately. D&S kept me in the loop and provided thorough information about the repairs needed and how the technicians would achieve this process in a timely manner. Once the assessment was complete, I was informed if parts came timely repairs would be done the first week of December at the top of the week and I'd be able to pick up my vehicle then. Harley did a wonderful job of communicating each step with me providing a timeline of when my vehicle would be ready. I was then informed it would take more time to put my vehicle back together than previously anticipated so my vehicle would be ready by 12/05 rather than the top of the week. Harley let me know the team was unable to complete putting my vehicle back together by EOD and my vehicle would be ready by 12/08 at the earliest and 12/09 at the latest along with approval from the insurance company of a second and final supplement for the labor to put my vehicle back together that the team did not originally anticipate. Calibrations and clean up weren't complete until 12/09. Harley then informed me the service writer was unable to finish sending the information to the insurance company by EOD 12/09. 12/10 the information / final supplement was sent over to the insurance company to review. I was finally able to pick up my vehicle 12/12 after I called the insurance company several times to expedite their review of the supplement money needed for the extra labor costs of putting my vehicle back together which D&S did not anticipate during their initial review. D&S finished calibrations and cleanup 12/09 but would not release it until they received the supplement from the insurance for the extra labor costs. The body work looks and feels amazing, you cannot tell my rear bumper was replaced. Only downsides, the technician my mom and I spoke to was unable to tell us if the vehicle had a full paint job. Once I went to my vehicle I was unable to access it as the technician forgot to take it out of service mode. I went back into the shop to find someone to take this out of service mode. My panel under my hood of car was not put back, however I popped this back on myself. I appreciate Harley's customer service and updates. The repair team unfortunately left me feeling unnerved about all the 'unexpected' extra work necessary after their review.

However, the repairs ended up taking nearly a month. For the first 8-10 days, the vehicle sat idle in the parking lot without any repair work, damage assessment, or parts evaluation being done, which significantly contributed to the delay. They may have been busy with a high volume of vehicles, this was never clearly communicated to me upfront. I was not informed about any delays unless I personally called to check on the status.

So I had a dent about the size of a quarter that I've been ignoring on my truck. After seeing his posts on Facebook I messaged Campbell paintless dent repair and made an appointment for today to go in at noon. Fully expecting I was going to get a estimate and then have to make an appointment to get it repaired he looked at it from about 20 ft away and said oh I see it already. After a quick inspection he told me what he was going to do and hold the truck into the shop and even let me loiter over him and watch him do it. Amidst some very expensive tools everything was protected he actually went through the window between the window and the sheet metal at the belt molding. If I hadn't been there jabbering with him it probably would have been a 10 minute job. While he was inside of my door he noticed one other very small dent that he said I'm going to take that one out for you too or do you like it or not! So within a period of about 30 minutes from the time I got there till the time I left my door looks absolutely perfect now. He explained the entire process which he didn't have to do and then did a quick compound and buff to remove any tool marks although I didn't see any. My total bill was about $125 or so and now my truck looks perfect again. Thank you so much Ryan!

Concorde collision is a relatively new state-of-the-art body shop building Concord on Ravenna Road…read more As I have been around body shops for the majority of my life I was was rather impressed with this one. Well one could say the name is misleading collision he does so much more than collision. He also is a mechanical shop. In the past year since he's been open my daughter has wrecked her Jeep where she rear-ended somebody and did about $14,000 in damage. John and Dan worked with my insurance company and it was fixed in short order. Something else he's also done for me was mechanical. While I'm pretty mechanically inclined and I'm certainly able to perform many automotive tasks on my own I simply have run out of time and John makes it affordable and worthwhile to take my car to him. He has replaced the brakes on my truck and the brakes on my wife's Audi. Something that's of note is that every time I've been in there he always has a customer that brings in the project car that is a challenge. I've seen him replace entire drive lines in collector cars, repair prior work on a previously repaired salvage car that was questionable and make it so it's safe. He has installed an outfitted equipment into a former airport bus so it's a mobile gym, repainted 70-year-old cars... He runs a pretty interesting business. I made him multiple referrals from friends who have taken their gas tanks from an old ATV in to get fixed, work on a alignment for a race car, even install some aftermarket accessories. Did you buy some tires from tirerack.com and or Walmart and want to get them mount and balanced? Yep he can do that. He has two lifts and a state-of-the-art alignment rack and also a frame machine. Anytime you go there you're bound to see something interesting in addition to getting a great value on getting your car fixed whatever the problem is.

My car was hit by a…read moreState Farm driver, and I took it to Gerber for an estimate to be repaired per State Farm's request/recommendation. Amber asked me about the damage my car sustained, then proceeded to ignore that information as she snapped photos, leaving several damaged items off of her estimate, and actually specifying the wrong grille for my car (a difference of over $600 for that part alone) even though we discussed issues with my adaptive cruise control (the estimate CLEARLY marks the grille she spec'd as "NOT FOR VEHICLES WITH ADAPTIVE CRUISE..."). Then, three days later, she calls me to ask if I'd like an estimate done on my car, completely forgetting that she had just seen me a few days prior. She also never e-mailed me a copy of the estimate despite a promise to do so. As a result I now have to go through the process of getting ANOTHER estimate from ANOTHER shop and waiting for ANOTHER payment from the insurance company. I was considering having my car repaired here, but if they can't get the details right during the estimate, I don't trust them to fix the car properly. Sorry to pull you away from TikTok to do my estimate, Amber. I hope it wasn't too much of an inconvenience.

I had taken my new vehicle to Accurate Auto Body & Frame for Krown undercoating on 10/28/2016…read more Everything seemingly went well with the process. I was told that the vehicle would drip for about a week and any excess on the vehicle would wash off with soap and water. The following day, I was wiping my vehicle clean and noticed on the front bumper and fender that there were 4 spots that had been touched up with a plain white paint. The vehicle is a tri-coat pearl white so the touch ups really stood out. I immediately called Accurate but the shop was closed as this was a Saturday after 3:00 pm. I called early Monday afternoon, spoke with Lou, the owner, and explained what had happened. He invited me to come to the shop so he could take a look at it. Lou immediately called me back 5 minutes later and denied that his employees were responsible. The following day, I drove my vehicle to his shop so he could see the damage and the attempt to conceal it with touch up paint. Lou vehemently denied that this could have happened at his shop and suggested that this damage was there when I purchased the car. I told him that I inspected the vehicle thouroughly when I took delivery and the damage was not there at that time. I also had pictures when I purchased the car and showed them to Lou. He went on to say that the two employees that performed the work were his son and his sons friend from high school. His son pointed out another spot on the driver side door edge that had been touched up and asked me if I had seen it. My reply was, "No, because it wasn't there when I dropped the car off for undercoating." Prior to the job, I had that door open to ask the technician if he could use the factory holes to spray the undercoating rather than drilling new holes. I would have noticed the damage at that time. It's also important to note that the damage to the door edge is right next to the hole that was drilled for access. Coincidence? Not in my opinion.
