From day one they treated me like family, through oil changes, brakes, random issues that I never would have figured out without their expertise, and miscellaneous items found in my tires (where and how I picked up a countersink I'll never understand); through different shop managers and mechanics; through helping me find new vehicles after driving old ones past 360k miles. The folks at Consumer Tire have always been honest with me, even when I didn't want to hear the truth, keeping me apprised of situations as they arise, such as estimating the life of my tires and brakes, so that I could budget for the future maintenance. For honesty, skill, and expertise, I cannot recommend Consumer Tire highly enough.

The tire was only three months old and I bought a warranty with it, but I bought them from somebody else a major chain. I had to go somewhere and I kept losing air in that tire. The chain could not see me for two days I called Lang and they said come up here. We can do it. We have a guy that only does that. They fixed my tire and I was on my way. Yes, I had to pay for it to be fixed, but at least they cared. That is the difference nowadays in a good business versus one that is not a good business. I grew up in the area and I can tell you in 40 years they have not changed their service or their model of operation.

Turns out I had tire choice do some front end repair work not only did they do a shitty job and I…read morehad to have it all redone at my expense another $1600, but I let them do my oil change and they screwed up the oil housing filter with the spring in it, which is now starved my motor from oil which, since I had to get the front end, repaired a second time from a better shop, I am now finding out that because of what they did, they starved my engine for oil and now I have valves ticking all over the place! I would not recommend any of the people that work at that particular tire choice to even change my tire. I will be calling their corporate headquarters in the morning and I will get satisfaction and my engine fixed.

They said you don't have to make an appointment but could if I want to . They said I can have any time right away- at 8:30, 9:00, 9:30 ever half hour etc I told her I would come soon~ just up the street so I said 8:30. I ended up getting there by 8:44 The bitter woman told me because I was 15 mins late I would have to wait a couple hours. I said ok. (Even tho There were no other customers and just a couple of cars one being worked on.) The little one and I walked around the neighborhood had breakfast and went to the store etc we came back almost 5 hours later to "pick up the car". She said " Why are you here?" She looked at me crazy then snapped at me -with hate ..." they didn't do anything! I told you that you would have to wait!" I told her it's almost been 5 hours not two, she then snarled at me that she was the manager so "call corporate." So, I went to Midas on Mayfield just down the street and the staff were polite and courteous. They were fast and charged almost half the price. I think this is my first Yelp but I hope Mr. Tire starts to take a look at the faces they put at the register to speak to customers from now on.
