Terrible customer service! dropped my car off at 9am and called back around 4:30pm to find out the car wasn't looked at yet, I asked what going and why hasn't it been looked at, the man told me "I can come get it if I like." Which I thought was very rude when he could of just said they were busy or anything. Then I go to the shop the following day to find out they left my window down overnight night! Door and seat was frozen, and could possibly have some of my belongings stolen! I wouldn recommend anyone go to this place! read more

No one ever plans for a flat tire... and after seeing the mixed reviews for this spot, I was nervous. But it was the only local spot open on Sundays. I could not be more grateful for this team! I called in the evening before (it was close to their closing time) and was told to bring in my car first thing in the morning. Bob + team were so friendly, speedy and knowledgeable. I was able to get in and out with just a tire patch in under an hour. The patch only costed me a little over $30 and Bob gave me a quote also for new tires come this winter if I want. DO NOT GO HERE! After calling the 800#, then being told to go to the store, Dan at the store would not help me with my warranty claim. Maybe this is how they get out of doing warranty work. I asked for a manager and Dan told me that he didn't know where he was. Not a very well run or managed store. When I returned home I called the 800# back and was transferred to the Warranty dept. Vic answered the phone and was rude to the point, he made feel as if he has something more important to do than process my warranty. Talked to Diane, who told me to drive to the next closest Firestone store, (over an hour away).... Not acceptable. SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND DO NOT SHOP HERE! ***** UPDATE.... Just came from San Diego, California! You can imagine my tires were meant for summer and not even all weather so I slipped around the other day and did not like that! Hahaha! I really wanted winter tires but they just didn't have stock for them sadly but they had all weather available so they are reliable! I also had an oil change done! Horrible customer service! Walked in the store and waited more than 10 minutes before anyone came to the counter. Then I worked with Dan there, and he was VERY RUDE. I was there for a tire warranty issue and he would not offer any paperwork or receipt for me dropping off my tire. When I asked for MGR, he told he he wasn't there and didn't know when he'd be back. I was looking for new tires for my Ram truck and I wanted the Firestone Destination MT/2. My service rep was Ed and he was great. He got the tires from another store and had them installed the same day. He was able to get me a bigger size which I wanted and explained everything to me. It was great service and I will certainly take my business back to them. The other reps were also just as nice. This location is very nice and clean and convenient. Wish I had been going to them sooner. In the past I have received subpar service from their competitors. Plus these tires are kick ass. read more

THIS PLACE IS Horrible!!!! Do Not Go HERE!!! So I went in yesterday to the Mentor Ohio Location to drop off my car and first I scheduled an appointment to drop my car off at 8am for brakes, that's cool. so I'm there at 8am and drop it off. then 3 hours later I call after I had a nice long breakfast with my parents only to hear that they haven't pulled my car in to even look at it! then he tells me almost 900$ for a brake job and to replace the calipers because they are seized up. ok first off who has 900$ laying around to throw on some brakes? especially during a pandemic where my wife's been out of work this whole time! so I ask him if he can get the price lower... maybe cheaper parts or help me maybe.... NOPE he used a Terrible Sales Tactics to make people believe they are getting a discount only they apply the coupon without your knowledge then i try to redeem one and cant. so I got frustrated and Left! Not to even mention when I first purchased my car from my parents I took it here to get an oil change and they called me and told me the last place I had it done at stripped my drain plug and I would need a new drain pan! only to come in later to find out TheyMiraculously saved my drain pan from being replaced. My vehicles tire picked up a nail thus causing my tire to go flat. Fortunately, I was near a parking lot and stopped to put on my small temporary spare tire. Once the spare was on, I ran to The close by Mentor Firestone location and arrived at 6:35 PM. The store manager refused to look at or do a tire repair as he was short staffed and they closed in 25 min. The result was I had to drive 18 miles home on the small spare, with my car pulling hard to the right. The next morning, my car was serviced, at a different tire center, (not Firestone). This caused me to lose 3 hours from work as well. Not sure what this Mentor store manager was thinking but he should be focused on servicing customers and not be concerned about locking a door at the posted closing time. It was his lack of support to my problem that will keep me, or anyone I know, from giving that location business in the future. read more

I paid for lifetime wheel alignments, so I come in every so often to have it checked. It's always a smooth process and they go over the results. I've also had my oil changed in the dead of winter (I wasn't crawling under my truck in snow), and I'm happy to report that when I changed my oil tgh is past weekend, the oil filter was properly tighten (tight, but not over tight) read more

To local patrons ...this is a quality, friendly business....they could have taken advantage of "out-of-towners" and didn't.....at midnight the low pressure light came on....we called the next am .....(thank you for having Sunday hours)...Bob could not have been more helpful talking through several scenarios and giving explicit directions...after we arrived, within 15 min. the diagnosis was made, then in 45 min. we were "on the road again".... every community should have such businesses. read more

After having a tire blow out on I90 and getting a 2 hour wait just to look at my car at a competitor, I drove to Firestone. Bob Owen and his crew couldn't have been friendlier or more professional. They had me in and out in 40 minutes with a new tire, pumped up my donut and stowed in place, and assisted repacking a very full car. Very very thankful for this auto care center. I am not writing this review for money. I am an honest customer who recommends this service! Best service I have ever experienced. They are all very friendly and helpful. It is very wonderful knowing that they will remember your face the next time that you go in. When I had my battery replaced in my 2009 Subaru Impreza a mechanic left something under my car and they called me immediately and did a service check for free. They are all very trust worthy. I had money sitting in my cup holder and not a single dollar was missing when my car was done. Very friendly and trustworthy mechanics that get the job done fast. Took my 1998 Dodge Dakota in for a free brake inspection because I was losing brake pedal pressure. When I went to pick my vehicle up they told me that my brake booster and master cylinder were both faulty and needed to be replaced. They wanted $851 for a 2 hour job with parts that cost $60-$100 a piece. On top of that when I left, I noticed that whenever I apply the brakes now (even just a small touch on the brake pedal), my truck comes to a dead stop, even at speeds of 35MPH. I called and complained about this to the "service manager" and all he seemed to want to do was blame it on my parts. He didn't even offer to have me bring it back in to take a second look at it.
