Friends pumped my tire enough that I was able to get to Van's and again, they patched/fixed my tire:$27. They couldn't estimate how long it would take for them to get to my vehicle and offered to take me home and pick me up when it was ready. THAT my friends is service. Now before anyone suggests otherwise...in 50 years of driving I ever had a flat tire . When I signed the papers for both my financing and insurance I opted out for roadside assistance and extended warranty to save a few $$$. Just go to Van's!

There have even been times when I brought a vehicle in for something simple, like replacing a headlight bulb, and they didn't charge me for the labor. More importantly, Dan has been willing to tell me when something isn't worth fixing like when a part might make a little noise but is otherwise perfectly fine, and replacing it just to eliminate a squeak wouldn't be worth the money. I empathize with the fact they had an issue getting the two front ones off. The reason for being irritated is the fact that normally having them check the air is free. I had a tip ready for them and the guy who checked the tires tells me his boss is mad because it was taking too long to get the two stem covers off, then proceeded to tell me it was going to now cost me $20 plus tax was added. I didn't have the money to begin with and have now overdrafted to pay for something I was not expecting, especially since I wasn't told prior to them taking them off. Had I known I wouldn't have had them do it. I previously gave 5 stars but today I feel like they did me dirty. So I won't be returning.

I figured, if Goodyear is trusting this shop to be an installer, why not give it a try. Tires were put-on in no-time, had a brief chat with the manager, very nice guy. But then I drove the vehicle on the highway, it appeared that there's shaking going-on. So I took it back. After I dropped it off, they called me to say that there's nothing wrong with it. That it must be the brakes. I'm certain that when I'm driving on the highway at 70 mph, my brake pads are not making contact with the disk. When I shared my disagreement, it was like I stepped on their ego and next thing I know, every sentence started with "just so you know".....talk about gaslight central! Luckily, they extended a courtesy reimbursement for me to take my tires to another shop and reimburse me for the tire balance, which I did. Wouldn't you know it, they were able to fix the issue! After visiting 3rd time this month, I do see a vast difference between the shop and the customer area. NOBODY had safety glasses, some guys had their shirts un-tucked around machinery, one guy had headphones on replying to text messages while under a vehicle. They treat their customers well, just not their vehicles. Great customer service, not my car-shop.

But didn't deny the wrongdoing when confronted. Tim the shop owner claimed that they did a relearn afterwards. But relearn is not the same as repair! The vacuum leak problem was totally ignored and the smoke test was not done. Tim insisted that I can safely drive with a bad oxygen sensor. Glad I didn't and God Bless AAA tow truck. Another shop corrected what WHAR neglected to do. Never again am I setting my foot in this shop and don't recommend it to anyone. I guess this shop knows how to take advantage of an elderly woman. UPDATE: four months ago (May 2025), this very shop did some work on my car and requested a positive review. I said OK but am unable to post it since I reviewed before and Google won't let me do it again. The shop then sent a link to my phone and I was able to post a positive review from a different gmail address. I am buffled how WHAR even knew my another gmail that I never told them about, and what else they know about me, and how they are going to use this knowledge. IMHO this explains how many positive reviews of this shop are posted. Don't take them for granted.
