The Conrad is a luxury hotel that is probably one of the most expensive in the area. You can take metro to Convention Center. There is also parking at the hotel. You might be able to find metered street parking if you are visiting a hotel restaurant and don't want to valet or pay hotel parking. The staff are helpful and polite.

I finally made it into the beautiful Conrad. The decor is really beautiful. Came here while working an event. The food spread they provided was so good. A lentil veggie soup umm yes please lol. Then they had a make your own caesar salad bar. I am excited to see the rooms oneday but seeing the decor on the conference room side was nice. The conference that took place had 2 large break away rooms.

We love staying at the Conrad Washington DC. The service is impeccable from the moment you pull in to the minute you leave. We generally stay overnight here a few times a year to enjoy a stress free late night in the city. The rooms are modern and clean, quiet luxury abounds, the location is ideal to take advantage of theater, concerts, shopping, sporting events and exceptional restaurants. We loved the Conrad's rooftop access and views. I feel pampered and secure when I stay at this location. We pay to have access to the Sakura Club. The Sakura Club is a special concierge experience which is extended to guests who book a room on the Sakura level. Conrad Washington DC's Sakura Club offering is totally worth the upgrade, it includes a robust upscale breakfast, with views of the capitol building, drinks and snacks are available for free during open hours and dinner service is convenient and free to help you make your play or concert. I'm a celiac, I do wish they offered a better and more clear selection for people like me but all you need to do is ask and the concierge and servers are more than happy to assist. The food, drink and service are all excellent. I highly recommend this hotel and I especially recommend upgrading if you can. As always Conrad locations are an extravagance and thusly nearly always pretty expensive. If you are looking for a rest you head, fly by experience this location may be a bit more than you need. If you want a luxury experience and service that makes you feel like you matter, splurge on this place.

My husband booked this fantastic hotel for me as a part of a long weekend trip. From the lobby, to the reception area to the room, the Conrad is a beautiful hotel will amazing views and a great location in downtown Washington D.C. just blocks away from the White House and a quick 10 minute still to the National Mall and all of the museums. The room was beautiful, the bed was perfect, and the shower was amazing. I also got nightly turndown service and my room was always cleaned and even organized. There is a small in-room bar and fridge with a nespresso machine and included nespresso pods, sugar and cream on request. There is also a kettle for hot water and tea available as well. The staff and concierge were awesome and helped arrange transportation to the events I was attending. The Estuary restaurant was also great and I ate breakfast and lunch there daily. Highly recommend room service as well, as they were fast and very hospitable as well! 10/10 recommend!

I love a great staycation! I have posted enough pics and videos of the Conrad to where a review is definitely overdue! Although I'm from the area, I have always loved to just be "home away from home," whether that is DC or Baltimore. The Conrad is definitely another home where I know the concierge and housekeeping staff. But, whether they know you or not, customer service is top tier here. From valet, to check-in, to even dining at their restaurant, Estuary, you will surely feel seen and welcomed. The rooms are clean, nice views of what DC wants to call "skyscrapers," and very simplistic in decor. If you are a Hilton Honors member, or would like to pay extra, you can get access to the Sakura Club, which is 24/7. Sakura Club offers breakfast and dinner during the quoted times (buffet style). After those times, you can still enjoy small snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. I love the convenience of the location -- near attractions like the Verizon Center, City Center, museums and the like. No complaints here! Enjoy!

I love this hotel! Booked a room at this hotel while in the area to attend the Mariah Carey Christmas concert. From the time of arrival to the departure, the customer service was exceptional from everyone (the concierge, front desk staff, housekeeping and the room service team). In one night, I experienced a comfortable night's sleep, great food from the hotel restaurant, The Estuary and an overall positive stay. The view from the room was spectacular (see pic) and architectural layout of the room provided enough space for multiple seating areas + a king sized bed. This hotel is officially my #1 place to stay when in Washington DC.

In our time at DC Conrad, we had an incredible experience. The location in inquiry. Great view, and it was nice. Great food and everything you could possibly ask for

I am a Marriott girl. I am an ambassador and have spent over 30K at Marriott properties this year (and it's not even October). But I had a couple hundred thousand Hilton points saved up from a previous work assignment where there were no Marriotts. And in my experience, Marriotts are better properties . . . HOWEVER. Conrad Washington was AMAZING. On par with The Four Seasons and Waldorf Astoria. Rooms are spacious, well-designed. Great mini-bar and snack selection. Loved the workplace, which would also serve well for room service and dining. Even in just a regular king, I had a super sitting area with a crescent shaped couch and table, which was perfect for lounging or working. Bathroom well-equipped with separate toilet and shower space and, albeit manual, bidet. Housekeeping is wonderful . . . unless you specify otherwise, they clean your room daily. Nice bath products, comfortable beds. They have a turndown service as well, complete with slippers and presidential themed chocolates. Service and support staff are awesome . . . always so kind, always opening doors, always offering help. I never had to worry about anything I needed, whether it was a bucket of ice or an umbrella on a rainy day. Robes and toiletries provided. Great common spaces, a nice restaurant/bar (reviewed separately). Pretty finishes that offer a sophisticated feel. Close to all the action . . . a mile or less from all the main Smithsonian sites. Very walkable. Near tons of restaurants. About 3/10 of a mile from Ford's Theater. I won't leave my beloved Marriott . . . but Conrad DC definitely caused me to turn my head and look at the other side . . .

I cannot stop raving about the excellent customer service we received by all the staff at Conrad during our stay last month. All the staff members were welcoming and extremely friendly; from the doorperson, to the front desk, and even housekeeping. This hotel is allegedly a few years old and is located in the new city center. Tiffany's is right underneath the hotel and has an array of luxury stores all around. Most of the spots we wanted to go to were roughly a 15-20 minute walk which was great to get our steps in. I worked for a majority of the time in my hotel room so I had asked the front desk if my room could be cleaned whilst I was out grabbing a coffee. The staff made it possible and even checked up on me as I would head out. Did I mention that the room has an array of Byredo Mojave Ghost soap, body wash, lotion, and shampoo?! I smothered myself in lotion and smelled great every day in that DC heat! The only con I would like to mention is the $50 dollar Caesar Salad I ordered for lunch. The salad along was around $20. The chicken itself was another $20 which was a sad sad piece of chicken I received. I noticed their lunch area did not look as packed and I can understand why. The food is ridiculously expensive! It's much easier to go out and find something to eat nearby. Aside from that, I enjoyed my stay at Conrad and highly recommend it to anyone that is going to DC.

We had an amazing time here! This hotel and its staff is fantastic! First let me rave about the Sakura lounge which is always fully stocked with drinks, snacks, and different meals throughout the day. The decor and the views from the tenth floor were very inviting. The mini bar in our room was also fully stocked with drinks, alcohol, and snacks. The bathroom is large and the toilet even has a (manual) bidet. Jennifer, our concierge was very bubbly and informative about where we should go for dinner and drinks on the town. William was our bar tender who made me a fantastic drink. I can tell he really loves what he does. Lastly there's our ambassador, Tom. Always cheerful and involved in our needs for our stay. He even arranged private airport transportation for us. Needless to say, we will be back to stay on our next trip to DC. We loved it here!

Stayed here during otakon 2025 and also proposed to my girlfriend that same weekend, this hotel made it unforgettable. Service was honestly some of the best I've ever experienced (and I'm used to Park Hyatt New York, Ritz-Carlton Downtown Los Angeles, even Four Seasons Baltimore). Shoutout to Tom and Darryl in the Sakura Lounge, plus Maria and Marlon for their amazing service. Front desk, bellhop, doormen, valet, everyone was on point. They even surprised us with balloons, champagne, and sweets after finding out about my proposal, which was such a thoughtful touch. We had a corner room on the highest floor with incredible panoramic views, almost like a suite. Loved the toto toilet, though I wish there was a tub. Estuary restaurant downstairs was excellent too, the crab cake is a must. Bonus points to valet for figuring out how to handle my manual Mustang GT without a hitch or so. Location was perfect, close ride-share 12mins to shopping in the fashionable Georgetown, 1 min from Tatte, and 3 min walk to the convention center. Between that, the convention, and the hospitality, this was one of my best hotel stays ever. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

My first time staying at a Conrad. Great location - right in City Center complex. Close to Penn Quarter area and short walk to Gallery Place metro station and to Convention center. The entrance is on New York Ave. There is a CVS across the street if you forget anything. Only thing I didn't like were the elevators - you have to take one set to get to the lobby from the street entrance, then another to the rooms. Valet parking is expensive ($70 a night), so I parked my car at the City Center garage as it's just a block walk. The lobby area is nice. The front desk agent who checked me in was very hospitable. My room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was well appointed. There is no refrigerator in the rooms, just a mini-bar refrigerator. If you are a Hilton Gold or Diamond member, you get a $25 daily room credit ($50 if there are two registered adults). We used this to get drinks at Estuary which was really happening on a Saturday night. There are many restaurants around the hotel where you can dine as well as their restaurant. We enjoyed dinner at Sfoglina which is a block from the hotel. There are many hotels within a few blocks from this hotel such as Embassy Suites and Grand Hyatt, but this one is my favorite now. Next time, I will have to try their Sakura Club and their rooftop bar when it gets warmer out.

I thought the room service here was top tier. Unfortunately, we couldn't make a reservation to go to the restaurant or the rooftop bar. Although they don't really honor the Hilton Honors, they accepted the Amex Platinum Fine Hotel and Resorts Deal. Location of the hotel is very ideal. It is in the middle of the City Center complex, where there are the luxury shops and very good restaurants (especially Fig and Olive). The check in service was great and the room was very clean. They have their own parking garage, but the parking valet fee has to be paid separately. It can be done through an app.

    Spacious double room!

That jetted tub was supposed to earn its keep. The room: genuinely beautiful. The technology: aggressively dated. The vibe: a 90s time capsule, complete with missing doorknobs. There was effort here, but it felt like the hotel was holding its breath, afraid any real investment might trigger the next recession. What they got right: The bellhops were fantastic. Warm, personable, fun. Truly the highlight. Most staff we interacted with were polite and willing to help, which made the gaps elsewhere even more confusing. What they got wrong (beyond the dated room and tech): For a hotel that loudly advertises luxury service, the customer experience fell flat. Outside of the arrival bowl of fruit, nothing felt elevated. Night two, we ordered pizza and planned a cozy Home Alone movie night. The technology made streaming impossible. Fine, cable it is. We called the concierge and asked for two plates. Just two. The answer was a flat no. We were told to walk down to the lobby restaurant and see if they might have plates "to spare." I'm sorry, what? The next morning, room service arrived... with someone else's order. It was corrected, but for a luxury hotel, that kind of miss is surprising. Housekeeping came through, but only halfway. The coffee and minibar were never restocked. In a suite. At a luxury hotel. This is table stakes. At 9:30 PM we stopped by the lobby circle bar. It was immediately clear the bartenders did not want to be there. I get it, service work is hard. Still, opening our interaction by warning us about last call at 11 set a strange tone. By 10:00, one bartender disappeared for 45 minutes. No refills. No check-in. No bill. Breaks are important. Coverage is also important, especially when you're selling a premium experience. Beyond the bellhops, much of the staff felt irritated to be present. Front desk to concierge, the energy was less "historic luxury hotel" and more "counting down the minutes." The hotel was also clearly prioritizing weekend tea and brunch revenue, to the point that the historic lobby was clogged with extra tables and largely unusable for actual hotel guests. Bottom line: this was not a luxury experience, and I would not recommend it. I'm only posting this publicly because I reached out directly to hotel management and never received a response. At that point, a review feels necessary.
