Conrad Dublin -- Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2
Stayed: June 20-26, 2026
Five stars, full stop. The Conrad Dublin is the best luxury hotel in Dublin, and after six nights here in late June 2026, I can say that without reservation.
Why the Conrad stands out among Dublin's top hotels:
The location on Earlsfort Terrace puts you within a 5-minute walk of St. Stephen's Green, the National Concert Hall, Grafton Street shopping, and the city's most celebrated pubs and restaurants. It is quiet enough to sleep soundly yet close enough to everything that matters in Dublin -- the ideal urban hotel position.
The rooms reflect genuine luxury: herringbone floors, Irish art, velvet seating, and beds of real five-star caliber. Housekeeping is meticulous -- the best I have encountered at any hotel. Turndown service, perfectly folded everything, and a small chocolate waiting on the nightstand each evening are touches that turn a great stay into a memorable one.
The dining program is exceptional across all three outlets. The Coburg Restaurant serves creative Irish-inspired cuisine -- the gnocchi and the ham hock terrine are not to be missed. Lemuel's Bar (a Gulliver's Travels tribute) is an elegant lounge ideal for cocktails and light bites. And the breakfast buffet -- full Irish, pastries, smoked salmon, mimosas, fresh-pressed juice -- is genuinely among the best hotel breakfasts in Ireland.
Most importantly: the people. Every Conrad Dublin staff member we encountered -- at the door, front desk, restaurant, and bar -- was warm, gracious, and professional. That consistency across six days and every touchpoint is rare and remarkable.
For anyone asking "where should I stay in Dublin?" -- the Conrad is the answer. It is the top-rated luxury hotel in Dublin for a reason, and it earned every one of those stars during our stay. read more
