Extremely disappointing service. They were super on top of it when we called for an estimate, so much so that we thought "wow these guys are responsive and do what they say they'll do". We signed up for the full home inspection and treatment (which they said would take 45 minutes to an hour for a house our size) plus paid in advance for a full year of 3 month follow up treatments. The "full inspection" was just a guy who came out for 15 minutes and sprayed for ants (we mentioned we had ants in the kitchen). We asked when we would get the home inspection and he said "oh I can spray the whole house for ants." That is NOT an inspection. He agreed and said someone would follow up to schedule it. Over the following three weeks we called the guy who sold us the service several times but he never called us back. We left voicemails at the main Connors office but they never called us back. We tweeted to their Twitter handle asking how to get help, no response. It was only when - a month after signing up - we threatened to report them to the BBB that they finally responded and canceled our service. BUT they still charged us for a full home inspection ($199) which we NEVER got. We should continue to fight them on it, but we've already wasted enough time. I am embarrassed to admit, but 2 years ago we had a flea outbreak. I needed help - now and how! Connor's came quickly. They educated me about the process and timing (living things out of the house). They got rid of the fleas on the first try. I signed a contract. For 2 years, Tamir Arslan has been an excellent technician. They come regularly, and quickly when I need a special service. He calls the night before and gives me a 2 hours window he never misses. Just today, he did a very thorough job on a mouse problem. After setting and clearing traps, spraying for pests, and treating for silverfish, he inspected the outside to find out where the little mouses are getting in! He told me to call anytime I need him to come out until we finish this. read more

These guys are awful. Terrible customer service. Looking to take your money and run. They were able to come out in 2 business days. Guy spent a good 45 mins looking all around the house inside and out and sealing up holes. He set out some traps. He left and said someone would be in touch to arrange a 10 day follow up visit. A few days after he left we noticed much MORE activity we could hear them in the walls. Called FIVE times to try and arrange the planned follow up. Every time spending 30 minutes on hold and explaining the same things. 2 weeks later- no appointment. No improvement BUT they have multiple money. Call center answers calls- no manager available. Just terrible service. Overall I wouldn't recommend. Seems like another company very keen to get your money then not so keen on doing a good job. We paid about $245 for initial call out fee for the hole sealing and .50c snap traps. They wanted us to pay and additional$47 a month to join a routine service but nothing about their work made me think I would want to continue on with them. No mice caught in their traps thus far. At my age, I have seen many Pest control technicians representing many companies. Some good, some bad, most just acceptable. But, I have never witnessed anyone more dedicated to the task than Tamir Arslan of Connor's Pest Control. He climbed, crawled, and scooted to places that all others had avoided. While other technicians are frequently checking the time and rushing to the next customer, this Connors technician was determined to eliminate all problem areas - real or potential - before he departed. The best part of Connor's Pest Protection is Charlie (number one technician!) He is always professional, polite and on time! The next best thing is their customer service! Sarah Lyle is a fantastic portal between customer and company. She is courteous, efficient and extremely communicative. Their people are what make the company. Keep treating them well! I will add that we moved into a new home in a woodsy area that had been vacant for at least one year. We had all manner of insects, rodents, spiders, etc., and Connor's was able to shed away all layers of activity. I have had permatreat for 15 years and there was always a problem with them. Once time they did not drill the holes all the way thru the concrete and put pesticide in the concrete chamber and capped it. On a re-treat, the technician told me they wouild not do any of the concrete - they had not told me that or provided me with a map of what they were going to do. In contrast, the Connor's technician came out and did everything right the first time. He found a few holes in the concrete that needed more driling and he did it. He trenched as recommended by the pesticide manufacturer which permatreat had not. At estimate time, i was provided with a map and they followed it. Also, there are some large shrubs and holly bushes next to my house and the technician got in the underbrush and did the treatment right. read more

Save yourself the headaches and find another company. Sadly, they make you sign a year long contract and I cannot wait until the year is up. The customer service is horrid and scheduling is a nightmare. It is impossible to get someone scheduled to come out and treat when you need (usually a 1-2 week wait). They constantly forget to tell you when your technician is coming (for the quarterly treatment) so its a surprise if you happen to be home when they show. If you're not home there's a 'sorry we missed you' card with a number to call and reschedule. If your regular tech person is not available when you do call back they'll either tell you to wait weeks till he is available or schedule someone else (who won't show up). I just love wasting hours of my life (8am-12pm) just to get blown off. You'll sit on hold when you call. You'll get hung up on. You'll call back and sit on hold again. You'll leave a message that won't get returned. You'll email and won't get a response. They're SUPER on top of things to give you a home inspection and an estimate (of course they are). The main guy who treats our house is actually very nice and deserves to work for a better company. read more

Let's face it---no one ever looks forward to calling a pest control company. However, sometimes it must be done. The first time we called Connor's was about nine years ago. A squirrel fell into one of the roof vent pipes and tried to chew its way out. I grabbed the local phone book and saw Connor Pest Protection and gave them a call. They checked their schedule and said that someone would be there shortly. Sure enough, he came by in about an hour. The man they sent knew what he was doing. First, he looked in the attic, even checked every nook and cranny to see if there were other openings that could be accessed by pests---all was clear. Then he noticed the small hole in the pvc piping where the squirrel tried to make an opening. We never did find the squirrel--either it made its way out, or, perhaps as my husband thought, it fell down the pipe and below the foundation. Well, anyway, the man that came patched up the pvc piping and told me that he would look for a cap to put on the pipe so that no animal could fall into it again. He quoted me a price and I was prepared to pay but he told me to pay him after he found the cap. It took a few days but he found one and put it on the pipe. Meanwhile, all this made us realize that we had a couple of trees that needed trimming since they had become squirrel super highways...but...that's another review. Fast forward to last month. I happened to look out the window and saw 2 birds dining on something on top of a window frame. My husband again called Connor's and told them what was happening. They arranged for someone to come out the next day. In fact, the person who was going to come out personally called us to get the details. When he came out, he told us it was black beetles that had attracted the birds. Then he arranged to power spray the window frames. That was done in 2 applications. The day before the second application, he called us and said that if we had questions, we could reach him on his cell phone. While he was there, he asked if we had ever treated the soil for termites. We said "no". He said it should be done every 10 years. Uh-oh! We didn't know---but fortunately, we didn't have a problem. We agreed to get that done. It involved making a narrow 6 inch deep trench around the foundation and spraying. Again, Connor's was on the spot coming when they said they would be there. Connor's did a great job both times we called. However, we hope that we will never again have a need to call them. However, if you should find yourself needing pest control, by all means give Connor's a call! read more

Extremely frustrating to schedule an appointment. Technicians did not get back to us. Had to call office multiple times and complain. We signed up for the full-year contract and did not feel they were thorough enough. We had to really push to get serious attention to our matters of concern in our home. For example, mouse traps were set-up but later we found huge holes around piping that mice can clearly enter. My expectation would be that they would know to look for that type of common issue and recommend how we should address it. Lots of small talk from worker, didn't feel like they treated the job/visits as if it were their house. Overall, we are disappointed with their customer sensitivity and attention to detail. I second all the other reviewers about how frustrating it is to schedule appointments with them. We have the annual plan with Connor's. We started seeing some pest issues so we called to make and appointment for a certain date. They tell us that someone will call the day before to give us a two hour window (no other option). They never called. The day of the appointment the technician calls with no explanation on why they didn't call earlier, says they can't make it and gives us an inconvenient time the next day. We tried asking if he has any other availability any other day, but he kept saying that he'll come the next day at the inconvenient time. Suddenly I have to shift my entire work schedule just to accommodate them because they can only do the next day in the middle of the day. Besides, their annual plan is on the expensive side compared to other companies in the area for no apparent better service. read more

Upon my tenant's endless requests and inquiries, Chip inspected my home four times within six weeks. His customer service and his patience way exceeds expectation and is definitely off the chart. I have been a customer of Conner's for several years and have had nothing but excellent service! I am so surprised to see anything but five start reviews; seriously! Here are some reasons why I'm very satisfied: 1. My technician, Travis, is the best! He knows me, my home and my issues. Consistency is important to me. 2. I receive a notice, in the mail, telling me the date of my next service. 3. I receive a call the night before, from Travis, telling me the timeframe in which he will arrive. He always arrives. 4. I'm very happy with the service provided. 5. From time to time I need service between regular visits. I always receive service within 48 hours. In addition: Conner's has come to my home other times over the 21 years I have been in my home...prior to my becoming a regular customer. 1. Two times to look for birds in my attack. 2. To spray my bedroom because I was terrified I might have bedbugs. They said they would spray but could not make a guarantee because I did not have bedbugs. I was kind of insane and irrational at that time. 3. Sprayed for ants. Never saw another one. Provided helpful hints to look outside to see where they come in and treat early. What else can I say? Had one issue with a hornet's nest. Called the company and they came out the next day and were able to take care of the near same day. Price was much cheaper than a larger company and wasn't pressured into buying a maintenance package (like other company). Technician was friendly and knowledgeable. read more

Connor's came highly recommended by my real estate agent and a friend. The person who came to my house did not seem that interested in helping with my issue, squirrels in the attic, he was supposed to give me a 30 minute warning before coming to my home but did not and showed up as I was taking my daughter to school, then didn't check to see if I returned home, then rushed the visit. He told me to wait until the baby squirrels could leave my attic on their own, but the last person who came told me I had wire damage which is a fire hazard, so I could not wait. A second man came from their construction division to patch holes in my soffits. Both promised an estimate the next day. I never received anything so I called Connors and was told they would contact these contractors, no follow up calls, nothing, until about 2 weeks later, I received a call asking if I was going to schedule work. By that time I hired another company. I did call Connor's to give them feedback, so hopefully this won't happen to another customer. read more

The company had to reschedule our service twice. They never showed up at the time allotted, or even called to say they were running late. Twice I called to check on where the tech was at and both times the company did not care about our concerns, or that the tech was running late and never called. These are possibly some of the nicest guys I've ever met, but they are not competent; they work on the surface only; and their follow through is extremely poor. I understand that I can only comment on my experience - and others have had experiences far better than mine - but the service level just leaves so much to be desired. After 8 months of promises and guarantees of call backs and broken attic doors (that they tried to blame on us) and service people who wouldn't leave our property when we asked them to and expenses I've incurred (more than $1,500 to fix that door they broke -- which they've tried to blame on us...ridiculous, when they're the only people who have gone in and out of the attic) -- and promises to call us back after they escalated the account to the "big bosses," we are sitting here again with (1) no promised quote (due 2 weeks ago) and (2) no response from the senior level manager of the pest control group who gave me his personal phone number to text. As I told him: I'd love to join them for a beer. They're pleasant and fun and just the nicest guys. But their service and their follow through just flat-out stinks...and I can't tell you how sorry I am to say that. I can't possibly recommend them to anyone as a result. read more

The guy George who came this year did the quality type of inspection to which I was accustomed. The guy last year did not spend more than five minutes inspecting. I created a YELP account specifically to write my first review of anything because this is quite possibly the worst service I have ever experienced. During the inspection the provider wrote our contract saying that the provider would vacuum and disinfect during the visit, along with the normal check-ins on the traps and bait station. When I questioned why this had not been done, the excuse was that the person who wrote the contract shouldn't have written that in. Well I signed the contract, so my understanding of a contract is if it gets broken, then it's void. I've called over five times asking to speak with a manager about the issue and the excuse every time is that he/she is out in the field and that they are overwhelmed. NOT MY PROBLEM. There is no place on the website to get in contact with anyone unless you want a quote, so I am left wasting my time calling and talking to the people who have no ability to help me. Also, when the provider came to plug up the holes in our house, he left the black foam all over the hardwood floor and up on the baseboards. He set traps in the attic in June. It is now the end of August and he has not once checked the attic, so I'm not sure if I have dead animals in my attic or not. The worst part is that I STILL HAVE MICE. I am really not sure what I'm getting for $800 dollars other than black foam smeared on my baseboards. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I had roof work done due to an issue with squirrels last summer. A connors technician performed the work and had to come back a month later because the work did not hold and the squirrels were back in my attic. A year later I hear squirrels in the attic again. I call Connors for a follow up, the Technician shows up unprepared and says he will return in two days. Needless to say he did not return and didn't reach out to let me know. I call the company to complain and am told "I'm sorry about the inconvenience, but when he returns there will be a charge as it is a chargeable service." I complain further as he didn't finish the initial check which was not chargeable, according to the receptionist when I made the initial appointment. The receptionist begins talking over me in a disrespectful manner, which I address with her. This company is a fiasco. It leaves me wondering why it is so difficult to find a good roofing company in this area. read more
