We had the car towed over (2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid), and they diagnosed the problem and repaired the issue quickly and at a fair price. Unfortunately, the tech made a small mistake and once we got the car home, there was more oil on the driveway and a check engine light. Ugh, again. So we called back to Scott to see what he wanted us to do. We understand that sometimes mistakes are made and issues arise. How a business owner handles those issues are the difference between good businesses and great ones. This is a great one. Scott was MUCH more upset than we were! He got us back in same day and fixed the issue at no charge! (We should have paid for a necessary part, but he would not charge us.) With everything so expensive these days, and everyone trying to stretch a buck, it's hard to know if you're leaving your car with someone who cares about it as much as you do. Scott does. They then tried charging me an extra $410, to which they did end up refunding because the second round didn't work either. After they finally got a diagnosis, it was going to cost me $1,600. After getting tires on my truck at Gunnell's tire and auto, I thought everything was good. This was…read moreup until I had to take my tire off.. one of the lug bolts snapped off, as well as multiple lug nuts being loose on every single tire. Now I understand things can happen while driving, but my rear tire is missing the special locking lug nut altogether! I went in to see it they would make the issues right, such as replacing the damaged bolt and replacing the missing key lug nut. I was told I could drop my truck off for a few hours, and all they would do is fix the bolt as they dont have access to replacement key lug nuts. But I could order it online "no problem".. I dont want to be that guy, but I brought my truck to you guys with the trust that I was safe to drive to another state and back after getting new tires, but yet I was left with loose lug nuts, stripped bolts, and expected to pay out of my own pocket for your lack of quality work. Thankfully I didnt lose a tire on the highway and nobody got hurt. But I would reconsider who you trust with your vehicle.

It was a huge relief when they honored the warranty (11 months after the original service) for a complete A/C system replacement on my wife's car. There was no hassle or argument from them or even an attempt to accuse her of being negligent. They looked at the problem and then fixed it with no additional money out of our pocket. On one occasion the horn on the car went haywire and was randomly honking at other cars. (Just like in the Brian Reagan routine. Very embarrassing.) After checking it out, Hefner's removed the penny that our toddler had forced into the steering wheel, thereby fixing the problem. And they didn't even charge us a shop fee or anything.
