I love this place! It's perfect walking distance from downtown Long Beach, and has a really interesting and authentic vibe to it. I love the artwork on the walls, and the interesting array of drinks. The coffee here is very delicious, and I've never had any complaints. This cafe offers a 'Print with Me' service, where you can print out anything you'd like. It's saved me in a pinch! This coffee spot puts a twist on the traditional Coffee Shop. It is a latin American specialty coffee and tea shop. They have several house special drinks such as Cajeta Latte, Mazapan Latte, and Horchata Cold Brew (my favorite)! They also have amazing teas, including my favorite the Confidential Iced Tea. The drinks always hit! The service is also top tier. We are always greeted with smile and given recommendations if we need them. There is some music playing and they have a good variety! Queer friendly! A great place to study at or just chill and play some games (mancala anyone?) I pray nothing ever happens to Confidential. There are a good handful of coffee shops in Downtown Long Beach, but in my heart, Confidential is top tier. I got three kombuchas to try: Pomegranate, Guava & the one with ginger. (Too lazy to get up and go see what exactly it is...I'm recovering from a broken collarbone and already relaxing on the patio... lol!) But I got their recommended latte iced (it's the Cajeta latte). Great Coffee. Great ambiance for a laptop workspace environment. Friendly customer service. Parking can be a little tight, but if you don't mind walking a block or so around the neighborhood then you shouldn't have a problem finding yourself drinking a cup of coffee within 10min. from finding parking to ordering your drink to having it served to you. This place gives off the vibes that ALL are welcomed. This has been the only establishment that I've been in that actually has feminine products in their restroom. Feminine products isn't what I need personally, nor what I'm looking for, but for anyone woman who is in need of feminine hygienic products, they have that here. Check out the drink flavors that are offered! Everyone has a rose latte, lavender latte, or oat milk honey latte these days, but have you ever seen a Mazapan Latte or a Matcha Horchata??? I doubt it. I had the Mazapan Latte with Oat milk and it was rich, creamy and almondy without being cloying or overly sweet, which can ruin a great drink. The perfect balance if you are looking for a different morning flavor outside of the regualr espresso, cappuccino, latte, mocha family. My wife ordered the cappuccino with almond milk, which came out smooth and frothy and in a way where you could really taste the quality of the espresso. Sometimes caps can taste burnt or bitter if not done right because there is no sugar to hide behind. Not this one. It was perfect! Just a great neighborhood spot overall. Service with a smile. Welcoming and chill. A place that is not going to fleece you on price for drinks and alt milks. Under $4 mostly and the alt. milks are priced at $0.50, not the .65, .75 or the full $1 up-charge that shops are charging these days. Love this place! It's super adorable with big open space. The decor is a classy and updated with plants and wood. They support everyone, they have a Latin flair in their drinks, a LGBT Flag and BLM support throughout. They have a ridiculously well priced menu and the coffee is excellent. I had a latte with an extra shot and my boyfriend had the Rompope with an extra shot (it's a type of Mexican eggnog) with espresso with oat milk). I thought it would be too sweet but it was actually the right amount. They have all sorts of different intriguing drinks so I'll have to come back and try them all! Please support it during covid! A very underrated, hidden gem in LB. With unique drinks, dope art, & a Mexican owned/inspired coffee shop, what's not to love? The matcha lover in me of course opted for their seasonal drink, an iced matcha horchata latte & I was amazed with the flavor. The earthy, bitterness of matcha mixed with the sweetness of horchata made for heaven in a cup. Please, take $6 from my account as you please with that goodness, confidential coffee haha. Love this cozy coffee shop with a Mexican twist. The interior is unexpected from outside, would never have known this existed without good ol social media. I wanted to try champurrado latte but it wasn't available, so I settled on the cajeta latte (Mexican caramel and cinnamon) with oat milk which was delicious. It was pricey but I love supporting small business. Mazapan latte looked interested and I will be back to try the rompope latte (Mexican egg nog served iced). I love coffee confidential! The service is great, coffee and options are súper tasty! My go to is the horchata cold brew (yum) I'm a cold brew girl and they do it right, simple and delicious. The ambiance is really nice, they have great art on the walls for sale and it's always nice to look at. The place is always full of people doing work and minding their own. They even have a pupper menu which my dogs appreciate and devour. I appreciate that even more because I love my dogs and love a place that loves dogs too. I stay in the area and wanted to give them a try. The atmosphere is a VIBE. I walked in & to my surprise was a floor to ceiling painting of Chadwick Boseman aka "Black Panther" aka T'challa. There is also a painting of Frida Kahlo who is remembered for her self-portraits, pain and passion, and bold, vibrant colors. The coffee was amazing and creative. Finally decided to walk over to Confidential Coffee to try it out, and I'm so glad I did! From the outside it looks pretty plain, but you step inside and the vibe changes immediately. There's a large Frida mural that greets you right away, which I loved, as well as plants placed throughout, chalk writing on the pillars (and chalk so you can add to it, how cute!), and plenty of naturally-lit seating. I went with the Cajeta Latte (iced) as I had seen it is a fan-favorite, and it was SO good! Perfect amount of sweetness & cinnamon, overall very well balanced and smooth. I also love that they have more than one option on their pup menu! I hope to come back again soon to try out some of the baked goods I've seen others rave about.
