When My wife told me she found highly recommended trainers, Braveheart, I looked them up and panicked....but I looked up a Pit Bull breading place in southern Virginia, not this Kennel and heir trainers in Maryland (both where named Braveheart). This morning we had to put our wonderful friend to sleep. She was 14 years of wonderful, fun, kind, and gentle memories. While she had most of these traits built in, Braveheart was a strong factor in her starting out right (well almost starting out, we was found roaming in Fairfax Virginia before we recused her, she was put into training at about 1 year old). She adored the Braveheart team. She was happier and better behaved after training. And, didn't even mind when we had to kennel her twice after that training. The team built very kind kennels (heated and cooled) with each stall having access to outside. They walked her several times a day. And, whenever you went there, you would see them working with one or more dogs. All the dogs looked very well treated and happy. While today is a sad day for Me and my Wife, I am truly thankful for Braveheart Kennels and the impact on our best friend, Chloe Thank you Braveheart, Bruce

She is clearly a devoted and sincere pet lover, who provides lots of exercise, playtime, and quiet time for the pets left in her care, in a loving, caring, and well-organized atmosphere. Pictures tell the story.... and we do appreciate when Jackie sends us pictures of how our Labrador, Casey, is doing when we're away....whether he's playing with other dogs, running in the park, or snoozing after dinner on his bed. Casey has been cared for by Jackie for the last 2 years, and he "says" it best. When we drop him off for a short or longer stay, his tail begins wagging before the front door opens......and he DOESN'T LOOK BACK as Jackie welcomes him in and he runs to the basket of toys set near the door......knowing that a trip to the dog park is always on the agenda, too. Dissed by our own dog! Finally, this winter we had a family emergency that required that we find care for Casey on very short notice....within an hour. Jackie offered and then made arrangements and changes to her weekend schedule to be able to take Casey on immediately....for the weekend. During out consultation, she spent the time to tell me how to set up crates and potty train my pup. I was completely overwhelmed with my new 11-week old puppy, and her advice was spot-on. Between her advice and dog walking, he has turned into a well-trained puppy. Jackie makes sure I understand any commands that she's working on with him (and vice versa) so we can both enforce his training. This has helped him pick up basic commands a lot faster. It's a great feeling to come home one day and your puppy finally understands sit when he didn't get it that morning. I've used this company for both dog walking and overnight stays. People (lovingly) tell me that I'm a helicopter doggy mom, and I trust Jackie 100% with both of my munchkins. Typically the best part of my work day is getting pictures of my pup or a funny story about something he did that day. Jackie has continually provided exceptional service for both my pup and cat. She is great with them, and continues to give great advice. She works my puppy hard to get out his energy during the day. Anyone who has a long day commuting and working appreciates coming home to a puppy who only needs a short walk and some playing. I am very fortunate to have found Paws On The Leash. Rachann the owner and her manager Michelle are great working with and communicating. When Max passed recently at 11 due to cancer they sent us a very nice card that meant so much. Maisey (4) has only ever known life with Mac by her side. This caused nervousness, confidence issues , and upset tummies for a few weeks. They were nice taking her up day camp with no notice and seeing that she got a bland broth and rice diet to help. Now her new little sister Cammy (10 months old) a rescue from North Carolina is getting her shots and stuff to clear the way for visits. Everyone from their staff can't wait to meet her. What my wife and I love is that they love our puppies nearly as much as we do. I wanted to say thanks so much for your care and compassion with Max! It made an impossibly hard time a bit easier knowing that he impacted their lives and to know they were sad as well. This is the best place ever! Look no further! Fun, fun, fun!…read more Based on my vet's personal recommendation, I've been taking my high-energy Vizsla here for over a year since he was a pup. Our neighbors all trust Mariah-Belle with their dogs too. My dog loves the Day Camp activities. I've also boarded my 11 year old terrier and young Vizsla for long weekends. The staff catered to both their needs of spoiling and medicating my older dog and playing with my young dog. The owner and staff all truly love dogs! It shows in everything they do! You can really tell when your dogs jump out of the car and run to the staff! They truly care! Another reviewer commented on an illness outbreak earlier in the summer. If you take your dog to a park or a kennel, you are taking a risk. My young dog did pick up a virus only once in the last year. It wasn't kennel cough. And my older dog didn't catch the virus. It stunk to see him sick, but we humans pick up various colds from time to time. That said, I've never seen an owner be more diligent in resolving a problem. The staff immediately called to check on my dog. The owner called all the local vets to identify the type of virus and then immediately implemented a specific cleaning regimen to kill that particular virus. I've been kenneling my dogs over the last 25 years at a number of places. I trust Mariah-Belle Manor! My dogs love absolutely love going to Mariah-Belle!

Perhaps your husband has our brief encounter confused with a different one, as our puppy has never once had an incident with a Shih Tzu or any dog for that matter. If you so choose to stick with the story you claim, then you've made us feel satisfied that we did not leave our dog with you. You want to leave your pet with someone you can trust and this story, regarding our encounter, is obviously fabricated. Again, if your husband has our encounter confused with a different one then we'd be willing to accept the apology. But if this is what you claim to be true, do not trust this place.

We were very pleased with Sarah and felt our girl was safe and loved. We received pictures multiple times daily with updates. Before Delilah was allowed to stay, I met with Sarah and her husband to make sure she was not aggressive. Delilah has not been around other dogs much (besides our other dog), but by the 2nd day, she had multiple friends and was playing with them. I was late, i haven't gotten a cell number so I couldn't notify her. My dog is a high energy dog, that is why i chose a farm. I left him there for 11 days. I haven't heard from her until the 5th day. She didnt respond on my voice mail or email. Then, I finally got a text (no pictures). When i came back, i was assured my dog adjusted well. I saw that his nose was all rubbed against the bedding in his crate. I have no idea how much exercise he got since i havent received any pictures or updates. The hair grew out between his paw pads, means he wasn't running much. The first day at home he had lots of energy. I was expecting him to be exhausted. Since, when i got there, there were only crated dogs, i have no idea about their daily schedule. My dog wasn't as Happy as usaly when he got home previously from other dog boarders. I am conserned since i have gotten no updates and i know she has a full time job beside boarding dogs. There were a tone of them, barking inside... positives: well orgenized, very clean, friendly.
