Grooming- Everytime I've attempted to patron this place, there's just something that happens. Whether it's the lack of customer service, or the off putting disposition of the grooming staff. The fact they haven't cleared that front to allow for a line, so everyone clusters right at the entrance, or when I'm told to wait outside the door but they allow another person to enter and don't redirect them. Went for convenience, and I Gave it a few tries but I wont be returning. read more

I keep stopping at PetSmart locations in hopes that I will find the unobtainable. However, with each visit, I'm starting to realize that what I am looking for, PetSmart may have never carried. Which makes it even more frustrating. However, they do carry the better litter here which I always wind up purchasing for my cat. On the particular day that I visited this location they were having some type of vet event. When I first arrived I don't think it had yet started, but by the time I was exiting the store it appears that it had started. Leaving was a bit more confusing than arriving. There were tons of people everywhere outside, almost blocking the entire sidewalk. Inside, I did a quick browse of the cat section to make sure I didn't need anything and that they didn't have anything I was looking for. Once I went through the section, I checked out the clearance section and then made my way out of there. read more

I like to say thank you to Lennon, Melodi, Monica and Kialah who did an excellent job with helping me through the process of getting the prescription food for my cat. All of them are compassionate, kind, honest, professional, personal, polite, understanding and show that they care about the customers and I am glad that I am one of them. I total recommend PetSmart. My vet's is not going to be caring the Royal Canin food anymore so he wrote a prescription for me. I went on the PetSmart.com website and ordered the prescription cat food. I did get an email confirmation that the order has been placed and that it would contact the vet in the next 7 business days. I went there and was helped by Melodi and Lennon. Lennon explained how everything is done and Melodi wrote directions on how to cancel my order because Lennon checked and got the food for me and took me to the cashier which was very nice of him to do. My cashier was Monica and she did an excellent job with processing my check. Then I went over to Banfield and spoke to Kialah. I gave her the prescription and food receipt and she made of record or it then gave me a receipt. I highly recommend PetSmart. read more

Refused to sell me a mouse after I said it was going to be used as a feeder. I'm a firm believer in feeding reptiles live prey every now and again as it is what they eat in the wild and provides the reptile mental stimulation. I never expected the pet store to force its wonky values on me. They're vermin, for chrissakes! Also, JUST for this, my lizard will be getting TWO feeders tonight!!! read more

We stopped in for some fish related things. The fish section got an upgrade since the last time we were in. Unfortunately, one section of fish were unavailable because the shipment had ich. That's not their fault. However, the young lady who was helping us, was so unfriendly, perhaps she was having a bad day. Usually the service there is pretty good. The staff at check out made up for the unpleasantness at the fish section. We also got couple of plants for the fish tank- pretty good selection. Overall, a fine experience. read more

I was having a rough go at it, and I personally didn't have any patience to deal with the issue at hand however the Manager had plenty of patience with me, and I really appreciated it! I had ordered a pick up order the night before I missed the same day pick up cut off time; which was fine because I figured it would be ready first thing when the store opens. However, it was the next day and it was going on past 12 pm and I still hadn't got any notification that the order was ready... It has been a very rainy weekend and there was finally a break in the rain any my car was driving my crazy because we were out of his wet food...I decided to just go to Petsmart to see if I can pick up my order now while the rain had slowed down. When I got there, I found out that the order had been sent to the Kensington location anyway; even though I had changed the location to the correct one multiple times when placing my orders the night before. Let me just say it created a whole mess and I was super annoyed with it. However, the manager stayed very professional and calm and fixed the situation and I was able to get my cat's products as well as at the price I paid online. Thank you, thank you!!! Side Note: I have stopped using Chewys and have been using Petsmart because the online prices are the same if not even sometimes cheaper AND I like being able to do same day pick up OR same day delivery when you run out and need it now, not later. read more

Davonte was extremely unfriendly. I had called and booked a nail trimming for my nervous dog. She is a nervous pooper. He seemed disgusted and annoyed that she pooped in his presence. Within 1 minute, he brought me back over. He kept repeating over and over to me that the dog seemed stressed. He just kept saying the same thing over and over like I didn't understand English. I was confused and explained that she does this but then she stops. I asked if I could stand next to her during the trimming. Finally he said bring her back another day. Another kinder coworker said every time a dog poops they have to go through a disinfecting protocol and she had already pooped twice. Alright, I get it. My dog has done this before and I've never been denied service. Devante said he could get his manager. I declined because I understood their rules (after the coworker explained). I was more shocked at Devante's customer service skills. He just appeared so angry from the get-go and he was doing me some favor by trimming my dog's nails. This is your job, I assuming something you wanted to do, you had to apply for and be hired! Just tell me nicely and I'll leave! Sheesh! I'm shocked someone that seems this angry has a job working with animals. I've never met someone so angry and hostile at any of the dog service providers I've used in the fast. I was going to PetsSmart cause I needed to pick up some prescription dry dog food for French Toast. I got there, literally in the parking lot, and realized that I didn't have my special prescription card from the "Banfield Pet Hospital" inside of PetSmart. #FacePalm. Luckily, I live close by, so I run home grab the card and come back. Now, admittedly - that was 100 percent completely and undoubtedly my fault. And I took some time before I wrote this review - 'cause I didn't want my mistake to color the next part of the story. Allow me to continue: I search around the store in the dog food section and cannot find any RX dog food for the life of me. For some reason the RX food is completely separate of all of other dog food right and is located next to the Banfield Pet Hospital. I guess technically that makes a bit of sense... but at the same time - signage specifying that near all of the other dog food would have been helpful. I end up asking a store associate and he points me in the right direction. I pick up a bag of the prescription food and head to the register. Pick toast up a couple of twisted bully sticks on the way. BTW - 2 twisted bully sticks was 20 dollars. Yeah... let that sit for a second. Don't get used to them Toast ;) So I go up to the register hand over my prescription card and put up this bag of dog food. He looks at my prescription card and says it's expired. Oh the deflation. I was really in a rush, and I said to him, can I show you the actual prescription. Cause I carry that with the prescription card. And I'm showing him the actual - legit from the vet prescription that says "as needed" and has no expiration date for the rx food. And he's like "sorry there's nothing I can do." So I ask to speak with the manager cause I really needed this dog food. And I show him the actual vet prescription and he basically tells me that their system won't allow him to sell the food without that special "Banfield" prescription card. BASICALLY a duplicate prescription - just in their stores format. So you might think I'm super angry with the manager here. Absolutely not. I mean... I would've appreciated some explanation why this system exists.... yes. But he was a nice enough guy. And he was actually the "store associate" who I asked when I couldn't find the RX food in the store. He was the one that pointed me in the right direction near the pet hospital. You might think I have a big problem with the cashier. Absolutely not. He was just doing his job. My frustration, anger, exasperation comes with the system. Can someone please explain to me why I have a signed prescription from my licensed veterinarian that is good for this food, and you still cannot sell this food to me. Why must I take what seems like a completely asinine step of getting this special Banfield card. Does Chewy force me to get a special Chewy prescription card? No. I'm sure there are plenty of other pet stores that don't have in-house veterinary clinics that would be fine with selling me prescription dog food if I'm *emphasis* showing you the prescription *end emphasis*. Like, I feel like I'm in a Seinfeld episode here. It's like the rental car episode Mike: "But the prescription from my vet allows me to buy the medicinal dog food. That's why you have the prescription." PetSmart: "I know what prescriptions are for." Mike: "I don't think you do." So... what did I do? I took the most extreme step in the face of overwhelming adversity. I literally made my own dog food. I cooked white rice, and mixed it with shredded carrots. The dry RX food I was trying to get was just Toast's midday and late night snack I give her. So I fed her human food for a couple of days for snack after I ordered the prescription dog food from Chewy. Luckily Chewy is very quick with their delivery and it was there within two days. Did you know that dogs can eat apples? Now ya do! Now I do! Now I'm just asking myself why I would go back to PetsSmart? The markup on items seems extraordinarily high. You could probably tell I'm not a HUGE fan of the RX banfield card thing. Toys aren't cheap there either. I'm just struggling to find a reason why I would go back. read more

This has got to be one of the most poorly managed PS in the area. Only 2 associates in the entire store on a busy weekday afternoon. A lot of stuff that I needed was out of stock. We are in a pandemic etc... is the excuse that I was given. 6 months after the start of the pandemic that excuse is old. The aisle markers that tells you what they have are wrong. The one associate who helped me, I think his name was Ricco was good. He seemed flustered because people had to wait on him since he was the only sole on the sales floor. Checking out was a nightmare. A very long line with a cashier who had zero urgency to get you out. Grooming: my brother had his dogs groomed here a few times. I went along to help with one of them recently and Let me just say this, they will hire anyone with zero patience, skills or talent. The blonde woman definitely has zero customer service skills, after seeing her being arrogant with the customer before us, and seeing dogs howling and making aggressive noises, my brother decided going to another groomer. The low reviews of the grooming department are true. And definitely do not use Banfield! Pay extra and see a quality veterinarian that actually cares. read more

I took my dog to this place about 2 weeks ago. My medium size schnauzer, very loving a sweet dog, she is NOT aggressive and I have never had any issues with other grooming places. She was assigned to Miss. Britney and when I got there, she welcome my dog and we went through prices and what I wanted it which was a schnauzer cut (Showed her pictures) of a previous haircut she got. She told me how much I was going to pay ($80). I left happy knowing my dog was in good hands. I called her to find out if my dog was ready about 2 hours later (SHE NEVER CALLED ME) she stated my dog did not let her cut her tail and I was like "OK" I totally understood because she kept on licking down there the past few days so in my mind I was thinking (Maybe she has an infection and feels sensitive down there). I took her to the vet that same day and I was told she did not have anything she was fine. When I picked my dog I noticed she only cut her back hair NO LEGS, NO FACE/HEAD AND NO EARS and she told me that my dog was aggressive and tried to bite her (Which I do not believe) I was frustrated because I ended up paying more than what she quoted me because there was a extra charge because my dog gave her a hard time. I was told by the store manager that her "Head" wasn't part of her body but I haven't seen the prices where it shows separate charges for the head, legs, tail and back it did not make any sense it was a joke to them. I felt that they didn't do anything and did not even offer to fix her uneven haircut . My friend's husband took his dog to the same place this weekend and UNFORTUNATELY got the same lady and again he had the same bad experience but he was offered to bring the dog the next day. He took his dog to the Germantown location and they did a wonderful job with his dog. Britney needs to be gone or they need to teach how to do her job!!!!! I was shopping for 2 40# bags of bird seed. They were located on the top level of the pallet rack, in the store. I asked a nice Petsmart worker if she could get them down. Her name was Natalie and had the best attitude while assisting me. I was impressed how well and precise she maneuvered the forklift, as well as had excellent situational awareness with her surrounding. (I had driven forklifts in a previous job). Each team member I came in contact with in store were very pleasant and helpful. I will be shopping at this location more often! read more

I used them for my dog grooming for 3 times. I had ok experiences twice but last one was not ok. We dropped off my dog (30 pounds shiba) for bathe, dry and brushing at 8:15 am, they said it would take 2-3 hours. However, It took more than 5 hours. My groomer was taking care of other dogs before finishing my dog when we checked them after 4 h. They obviously prioritized other dogs. Who was taking care of my dog? No one. They left my dog neglected for a while. I won't go back there again. Life is short. Especially dog's life is very short. I don't want my dog to waste his time in uncomfortable situation in unknown place on leased on the high table trembling. They finally gave my dog back to us after 5 hours. Although our plan was $60 furminator grooming, my dog had full of fur (fur was not taken away, it was still on him). I had to brush him by myself. But I was lucky I got my boy back. Don't put your dog in a risk with such irresponsible people and company. read more

The Petsmart in Gaithersburg, MD (Kentlands) is my favorite place to shop for my pets. I have 2 great experiences with the cashiers, the most recent being Monica 640217. It was today 9/12/2023 and I had to return cat food that my picky cat wouldn't touch it. Monica said "Returns here are no problem at Petsmart." How great is that. She pulled up my account, I was in and out in 10 minutes...returned the yukky stuff, got the amazing food that my cat loves and was out the door. She was pleasant thorough and awesome! I've never had any problems with this store. I'll go out of my way to visit here! read more

I have been going to the PetSmart in the Kentlands for about 10 years for grooming for my Yorkie. Right before Christmas I made a grooming appointment. The night before the appointment I received a call from the Grooming dept saying that they needed to cancel the appointment as I did not follow procedures making the appointment. My dog has a heart murmur and previously this was discussed at check-in. I was told that I needed to put this information into the appointment info. Needless to say I was irritated, but the next week when I made the appointment on-line I made sure to add the information into the portal. Again I was called the morning of the appointment and very unprofessionally told that the appointment was cancelled because I did not follow procedures by calling the grooming dept directly to make the appointment. And they were booked. She was also unprofessional and somewhat aggressive. I asked to speak to the manager but after holding about 10 minutes no one picked up. I called the manager directly and explained the situation. He said all the right things but at the end I asked him to talk to the grooming staff to get their side of what happened so that I could better understand why, after 10 years, I was now being treated in such an unprofessional manner. He did call back and told me that from their perspective, I had ignored what they had told me to do. There are many things I could say. Since the manager is allowing this type of behavior, I decided to find another groomer for my dog. What ever happened to customer service? I will never be a PetSmart customer again. I certainly will not pay to be treated badly. read more

Just awful. Last week I scheduled a grooming appointment for my dog, but apparently they overbooked and called me asking to switch to a time I could not come, so I cancelled and rescheduled. Then they contacted me 49 minutes before my rescheduled appointment to tell me they needed to cancel that one too. If you're not available to groom my pet at a certain time, that's fine, but don't let me schedule an appointment for that time. And, if you need to cancel a scheduled appointment, you need to let me know at least a few hours beforehand. I've also had their groomers complain when I've brought my dog in for walk-in nail trimmings, even though their website explicitly states that they only do nail trims on a walk-in basis and won't allow you to schedule a nail trim appointment. Clearly their scheduling system is broken. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I recommend you do the same. read more

I brought my dog in who is a schnauzer lab mix for a haircut together with her older brother, who is a yorkie lhasa mix. Our Yorkie lhasa appointment went very well. Both dogs ha an appt together so they could stay together. Our schnauzer was taken back first even after we said that they do better together. The communication at the salon seemed very scattered and disorganized. We explained to our groomer for the schnauzer that she doesn't like her feet touched. We got a call that it was time to pick them up. I accidentally missed the call and called back to make sure all went well. They told me all went well and I went to go pick up both dogs. Upon arrival of the salon I was immediately informed they couldn't complete my schnauzers hair cut due to her being aggressive and trying to bite the groomer. She is not at all an aggressive dog she has never tried to bite anyone. She will only aggressively give you kisses. We didn't have to pay for her haircut but she also came back to us half shaved looking like a neglected dog. Upon further inspection at hom, we found cuts and razor burns on our schnauzer chest, stomac, and arms. Of course, any dog is going to try to bite you if you hurt them. They are afraid... sigh. This was really a traumatic experience for our dog. For check out, we were asked if we wanted to pay first or get our dogs first, and we said we prefer to pay first since we were going to buy leashes and harnesses since we forgot ours at home in the wash and they brought our dogs out any way. I was trying to avoid overstimulation for the dogs who were already freaked out. Communication needs to improve at this branch. I am very disappointed..... read more

I wish there was a rating less than one star. I have lost complete trust in Pet Smart grooming. Today, September 24, 2022, I took my all white standard poodle to Gaithersburg, MD Pet Smart grooming salon for an appointment with Alissia. When I picked him up from the groomer, he had dark grey patches of hair all over his chest, ear, and legs, and paws. It does not seem to be coming off because it's likely dye. Why?? He just went for a bath and a hair cut. Never again. A refund is not sufficient. This is unacceptable. I called also called the Pet Smart Headquarters/Corporate Office to request an interview. I should of listened to the reviews!! I took my dog here for grooming and his haircut was horrible. His hair was uneven and it looked liked they just shaved him. We also wanted his face more rounded but it just looked uneven, so I had to fix it at home. I then the noticed he had cuts and scabs all over his body a couple days later. We couldn't wait for his hair to grow out, that's how horrible it was. Customer service in the grooming section was also horrible. Everyone looked and talked like they hated their job and did not want to be there. For the price they charge, there needs to be better service!!!! Never again read more

One star because of the grooming experience I've repeatedly had with all my dogs. The staff and cashiers are always friendly so I'll give them that. I recently brought my one year old pup in for a groom. He admittedly was definitely matted despite my trying to brush it out. I said please try to leave hair on him but I understand you'll need to get a good amount off because of the matting. The groomer took barely two hours which I find inappropriate for a groom for such a young dog. He had had about 3/4 grooming experiences before this and they have taken anywhere from 3/4 hours to 8 because they go slow and let my pup rest/relax etc. make sure he's comfortable and happy. I was shocked to pick my dog up to see that he had been completely shaved. The groomer said he had too many knots and it all had to come off. Seems to me like the groomer just didn't care and wanted to get it over with. There could have absolutely been some fur to leave and I deserved a phone call to tell me they felt they had to shave it ALL OFF. My dog has since been traumatized and is terrified of groomers and tries to bite them now. I have NEVER had this issue before this Petsmart trip. I was reluctant to come here because they sliced my last dog's leg open and I know for a fact he isn't a squirmer/ very calm dog. Again - they move too fast and don't care enough about the dogs. They were too quick and clearly lacked empathy and love for the job. I get it - they're at petsmart and it's one in / one out and they have a business to run... but it cost my dog a lot emotionally and set us back big time at the groomer because of their carelessness. Never send your pets here if you love them. I do want to acknowledge every groomer is different despite working at petsmart so I'm sure there are good ones who care more.. read more

I took our 5 month old labradoodle in today for a puppy grooming. I was a little worried due to all of the negative reviews. I am happy to say that it was wonderful!! Joy did an awesome job with Wylie!! He is a little nervous around new people, as he was when he first met Joy. But when I picked him up, he seemed at home! I've shopped in this PetSmart several times and have been very impressed by the staff in the retail portion of the store. I decided to try out the groomers they have on site. Initially, I went in to have my 10 month old lab's nails trimmed but when I saw there was a special on a nail trim, plus ear and teeth cleaning I decided to try that. My friend came with me and brought his 5 year old pug and decided to get the same package. I explained to the staff that this was the first time my puppy has ever been to a groomer and he may be a little scared by all the new noises. The male groomer took my puppy to the grooming table (which is very small for a 60lb dog), placed the rope/leash around his neck, and then turned his back to my dog to gather grooming supplies. My dog was scared and started slowly back off the table and one of his paws slipped off and he struggled to catch his balance. I don't know much about grooming tables/equipment, but unless the rope around his neck had a safety release, if my dog had slipped off the table he would've been hanged. The groomer heard me gasp and called someone over to hold my dog. The nail trim turned out well, but the same cannot be said for the ear and teeth cleaning. The groomer spent 7 seconds (literally, I counted 7-Mississippis) brushing my dog's teeth. I should count myself lucky that my dog got 7 seconds because my friend's pug only got 5 seconds worth of brushing. Lastly, the ears cleaning. My dog's ear get very gunky very quickly. After the ear cleaning his ears were still black with gunk inside. Overall, the groomer did not do a thorough job and I question my puppy's safety at this salon. read more

I did not want to give this establishment even one star. I tried to get my dog groomed at the Kentlands location and they could not have been more disinterested in my business. I needed to provide rabies verification before they would touch my dog. Two weeks ago my dog got his rabies shot, and received a metal tag for his collar as proof, but that was not acceptable, so I walked over to the Banfield ( a partner of Petsmart that is within this store location) and their computer system was down so they could not provide me with a piece of paper that showed my dog was vaccinated. So I told the groomer the computer was down and they said "sorry we can't groom your dog" read more

I was actually really impressed with this PetSmart! I brought my elderly 50 lb Basset Hound here to get an express wash. He is very sweet but has anxiety issues & trust issues with groomers. So it's always stressful for me to bring him to grooming salons. But he really needed a bath & so I acquiesced & made an appointment. I was really glad I did. I made sure to inform the groomer that he was a Senior & just needed a really thorough wash & condition. He unfortunately has an adnoma on his hiney which they needed to be aware of when washing his posterior area. He is also wary of people cleaning his ears & hates his nails clipped. They listened carefully & were very clear of the instructions & reassured me they would take good care of him. I came back in an hour & he was clean & fluffy & ready to go. A few adnoma polyps had started to bleed a bit during the wash & they were concerned so they took him over to Banfield vet just to get it checked which was fantastic. The vet examined him & stopped the innocuous bleeding & provided a report to the groomer. Overall I was very impressed with this location. The grooming staff are clearly conscientious about making sure they take good care of their client's pets. I also appreciated that they took the further step of having the vet check out his adnoma when it started to bleed. That meant a lot to me. I spoke with Rod, the store Mgr & he was articulate, professional & knowledgeable of the store's products & services. He was especially understanding & supportive of my dilemma with my dog's adnoma. (My dog has a degenerative respiratory condition from having heart worms so putting him under to have it removed is extremely dangerous). He showed me a leave-in organic dog shampoo & conditioner & pro & prebiotic dog chews that might help my dog's issues. I really appreciated his interest, concern & empathy. I had a bad experience with the petsmart grooming a year back, but decided to give it a second chance. And I'm now a fan! Danielle does a great job, she's my favorite. Terri and Sonia are great too. Price is very fair. I've done training with Donna here at Petsmart too. She's great but I sucked at going to class consistently. Otherwise, very friendly customer service overall. Always have everything I need from toys, food, treats, etc. I don't choose to go anywhere else for pet-goods. Bark and unleashed seems too expensive for me personally. read more

I have been taking my dog to see Terri D. ever since we adopted Cashew at 10 years of age. He is now 15! For the past 5 years, I have dropped Cashew off and picked Cashew up and he has always looked so good and is happy as a clam that he's all cleaned up. We feel so lucky to have found such an amazing dog groomer, we are so appreciative for how well Terri treats our family member. Thank you, how lucky we are to have someone so caring of someone we love so much!! I seriously have had superb customer service at this Petsmart. Recently I had gone into the store to find some treats my dog loves, and I was greeted by a gentleman that worked there named Rod, and he asked questions about Cashew and when I told him how old he was, he recommended a treat with glucosamine for his hips, not only does Cashew love them, his hips are less shaky. 2 stars For a National Brand you're dropping the ball, and it's not for the dogs. The service I ordered was Bath and Brush. This (according to the website) Included bath, 15 minute brushing, anal glands, nail trim, sanitary trim- didn't do this. scissoring feet and pad shaving-didn't do this either! The price when I booked online said $37, when they confirmed the appointment it was $42. I'm thinking if you offer less service the price should go down not up. I wanted a cat today and was ready to adopt a specific one. I knew which cat I wanted, but the guy that helped me kept saying "You seem unsure" about this one cat, and he kept encouraging me to adopt the two kittens instead. He was trying really hard to get me to buy two instead of one. I must have told him 3x that I wanted the one, specific cat, and he kept saying how they all need a home. Then he kept saying "You seem unsure." Long story short, I had to leave because he was... unsure with how to properly allow a cat to be adopted. read more

I took my Siberian cat here to be groomed, specially for a 'lion cut' (or as we call it, a "ruff and a puff"!). My cat is NOT fond of the sound of clippers or being held down (same as most cats, I'd imagine), but she had been clipped, groomed, and bathed several times at home - probably twice a year or more, so the experience wasn't exactly new for her. I loathed the idea of taking her in, but she had some extensive matting that I couldn't remove myself (at least I didn't feel safe doing it myself), so after calling around, since not all Petsmarts or groomers will clip cats, I brought her in here. The groomers were very friendly and took good care of my cat. She was anxious, so they had to have two groomers work on her, which they didn't charge me extra for. There was a bit of a wait, and she didn't get the 'puff' on her tail, or a bath, which was part of the package, but it wasn't the end of the world for me, since the matting was taken care of and she was much more comfortable. The cut was also done very evenly, and her nails were clipped as well. Not a PERFECT experience, but I give them credit for being so gentle and actually getting it all done (including the stomach and bum areas) on a non-sedated CAT. That is a miracle in and of itself. My cat didn't like being groomed at the time, but I could see they were gentle and patient with her, and as always, she was crazy happy and kitten-level energetic after all was said and done. She is eight years old so I love seeing her like that. She also gets a lot of relief from hairballs, and we get a lot of relief from the Siberian fur! Long story short, $70 well spent! read more

I enrolled in a puppy training class with my 3-month-old puppy. The class was held once a week for an hour for several weeks. It was very affordable and worthwhile. Cassandra was a great instructor: really kind, patient and knowledgeable. It was an especially good experience for my dog, who was timid at first. He gained a lot from socializing with the other people and puppies. I was very impressed with Cas and very happy with the Puppy Class experience. read more

I would not recommend their grooming services. I tried multiple times, and each time the customer service was poor, my dog's haircut was horrible, it took 4+hours, and my dog was anxious and "off" for days afterwards. I started using a mobile groomer instead and have had much better results. read more
