Out normal appointment is wash, cut, and blow with a mani/pedi. It takes a full two hours - sometimes a bit longer to complete a Standard Poodle. Normally, we specify details of our poodle cuts. The most recent time however, we asked Audrey to style what she thought best. The result was gorgeous - something we'd not have thought of. She is an artist. Audrey takes only one dog at a time, so she's completely focused on each. The studio is located in her home's lower level with professional equipment and always clean. She likes the color purple. Audrey has her own dogs and is obviously a dog lover. This, IMO, is a characteristic that sets her apart from other groomers who do the work mechanically on a supervised deadline. TIP: Reserve an appointment ASAP. Audry's appointments are normally booked weeks in advance. ADVICE: Do not let your dog free roam the fenced backyard. One of the sheds is a chicken coop that gets our poodles super excited. The chickens definitely do not like barking and jumping dogs at their chicken wire fence.

At that time I just groomed my dog myself. But since being busy with work now I take her here. Audrey is very friendly and love my dogs results every time. And she was done within an hour as well vs a pet smart or pettco that can take 3 plus hours.

Sometimes around holidays he even comes home with a scarf suitable for the occasion ;) Miss Gail has been grooming my Boomer puppy for ALL of his 15 years (except his first grooming before I met her, but more on that in a minute). She is AWESOME!! Very friendly. Very knowledgeable. Boomer loves her! Any time I put him in the car to go anywhere else he gets nervous. But when I tell him we're going to Miss Gails and start driving in her direction he calms down. She's got a cute little fire hydrant outside in her yard for the dogs to use before and after they go inside. I always make sure I give him a chance to use it before taking him in. And he has never gotten sick after being there. One time when he was really little I took him to Petsmart for his first grooming before I knew Gail. He threw up when he left there. That's when I decided not to use Petsmart and sought out a groomer with a personal touch. Miss Gail was exactly who I was looking for! Miss Gail's voice recording specifically states that for the SAFETY OF THE DOGS, she may not always be able to get to the phone so please leave a message. I would much rather leave a message than have her risk the safety of my dog while he's up on the table! Miss Gail's rates have always been very competitive and have remained constant over the many years I've been using her services, despite rising costs and a crumbling economy. In fact, I think I've been paying the same rate the entire 15 years! She does not expect a tip and is always very humble about accepting what little I give her over the holidays. Many times she doesn't even know how much I am paying her, as she is busy working with a dog when I come in, write a check, and lay it on the counter. Again, for the safety of the dogs she does not leave one unattended while working on them, even for a second! Miss Gail has been very accommodating to my schedule over the years. Boomer has a standing appointment every 6 weeks as does most of her clients. That means he's there with the same dogs each time. That makes it less stressful for him as even though he's around dogs not in is family, they are familiar to him. Throughout the course of Boomer's life I have had 4 children. Miss Gail even worked around my kids' nap schedule when they were little! And when I was in the hospital having my third child my mother in law was VERY VERY late picking Boomer up (HOURS). Miss Gail stayed at the shop and waited for her to come get him. She was very understanding and didn't even charge me extra for having to wait around. I felt HORRIBLE that it happened and when I apologized she told me not to worry it was no big deal. And now that Boomer is very old and sick she is even more accommodating. She makes sure to take care of him early so I can come get him and bring him home so he's not there too long. She calls me as soon as she's done with him so I know he's ready to be picked up. I will miss Gail very much once Boomer is no longer with me as my other dogs are of the shedding variety....although she will STILL be my go-to gal for nail trimmings and the once a hear shaving of my beagle ;)

She even recommended a cool coloring idea for our Chinese Crested, Eddie, and he got a splash of blue which was fun. The prices are incredibly reasonable and she is always willing to work with your schedule. Nice early drop off time and she lets you know when your dogs are ready as soon as they are done.

Our first encounter was for a quick tour and a day session where Ledo got a chance to try out the facility. Dogwood sits on the outskirts of Baltimore City and has so much space that he comes home exhausted whenever I pick up Ledo. Since that first time, we had boarded him twice, and each time, we could not be any happier than to see Ledo so happy. The Lodge offers grooming services; in fact, if your pet stays for a certain period of time, they will get a bath. Anytime we send Ledo there, I make sure that he gets a bath and a nail trimming because yes, my dog does deserve to get pampered as much as his owner. The staff is completely professional from when I drop Ledo off to the time I pick him up. When I took the tour, I was told that there is somebody on the premises 24 hours/day as there is somebody that lives on the premises. My take, if you live in the Baltimore area, this is the place to go if your pooch needs a getaway.

Not to mention, it's very convenient because she drives up to your house and comes right up to your front door to pick up your pup and grooms right outside your house. It took her about 45 min to groom Murphy (he's 14 weeks). The prices are also very reasonable, usually start around $65 and can increase depending on cut, style, etc. I heard of this company by seeing the trailer at a couple of my neighbors homes because they use it as well. I would recommend this groomer to anyone!

Evidently, he had nipped counselors twice, which was enough to have him removed. I gave the staff recommendations for how to handle his requests for attention (even the staff noted that his nips were "not out of aggression"), but it seems they were unable to work productively with our dog. He has been through the PetSmart training programs through Advanced training and has taken the Therapy Dog training twice (passed all classes). He is a large breed dog and young, which can lead to unfortunate outcomes if one is not aware how to respond. The staff are lovely and kind, but this hard and fast rule made us need to relocate our guy to another daycare that has a greater ability to handle his unique personality. If you have a large breed dog that's mouthy or nippy, just be aware of this policy.

Since this place moved/re-named it's truly gone down hill. The things offered aren't as plentiful…read more(it's a much smaller space, so it makes sense) but my number one complaint is that their hours are bizarre. They will just not be open sometimes, like today, a sunny Sunday. We like being able to support our local independent pet store, but we can no longer rely on them for our dog's food because they just decide to sometimes not open on Sundays, a day they have listed as open, or open late. So we decided today we are just ordering dog food online from now on. This has happened too many times to us now. We need reliability, and we don't have it here, sadly.
