It was a complicated move, with a small one lane road that needed the crew to move our things more than one times. I will start this review by stating that the delivery driver was amazing. Was very careful with unloading and reassembling my items. Now the big issue. I was asked twice for an inventory list of things to be taken. I gave them both the preliminary list and then the final list. I went over that same list with the people who came to load my items. At no point did I tell the crew to take my office chair and I didn't realize it was taken until it was already gone and on the truck. Not wanting to make a big deal out of it I didn't say anything. Which I now regret. Because guess which item they lost? And are now saying they are not liable for and I am out an expensive office chair. I work from home and spend countless hours at the computer so a comfortable chair is essential for me. The icing on the cake is that the chair I had is discontinued. So I can't even buy it again and had to spend even more money buying a new chair. It seems to me that they purposely take items that they know is not on the inventory list, so that when you complain they can say they aren't liable. Be very wary of using this company and if you do, make sure to keep an eagle eye on what they remove from your home. read more

Worst service. Don't use them. I signed a contract with them to help move items for my grandparents in California to Texas. They used a third party to pick up the items in California and had my grandparents sign another contract. The contract I signed said that we could pay with credit, debit, cash. The third party company never informed us we had to have cash ready for them for pickup and drop off. My grandparents had no idea what they signed. I called Condor and they have no idea either. The third party company had no idea that I was the customer paying for the services and then started cussing me out because I wasn't there in California to pay or sign. Condor told me that they were only signing a shipping agreement, but when i got a copy of the contract it was an entirely new contract. Do not use them. read more

They gave us a quote then at pick up before loading anything, asked us to sign an annulment saying our quoted price may increase because they thought we had more items (space in sq ft) than estimated. Ended up being $500 more after some back and forth disputing. Upon my drop off, a lot of boxes were damaged, one side table was damaged, I saw another customs items falling and breaking out of the truck, and THEY LOST TWO BED SETS OF BED RAILS, one of which is custom to my headboard. Its been one week and they have yet to find them. I don't know how they lose two large items. 2 stars because they at least got 85% of my items cross county. Do not use. Part of the scam here is: 1. Provide you a low quote to get your business. Will make claim about why they can be trusted, no hidden fees, and they're a direct carrier. These are not the truth. 2. Will load their truck and say you're over and charge you more. 3. Will sell your contract to another 3rd party carrier that's willing to take your delivery. 4. Those carriers will not care if you're happy with the delivery or not because you may not know their business name and will not be able to provide a review of them. 5. Those carriers will charge you extra for things like "shuttle service", even if you don't ask for it. Elevator charge, for using the elevator, even if the contract doesn't specify it, etc. Save yourself the headache and the eventual cost being the same as the big-name true end to end carrier. They will respond to my review and specify that we can contact the office to resolve. I have, they won't resolve anything. read more

Told to sign a release claim form. Signed and notarized said "release and settlement of claim form", which we mailed October 10, 2024. No response. Emailed Nisrine 2/23/2025, 2/20/2025, 3/15/2025 and 4/12/2025 with no response as to when to expect the settlement check. Called and left messages on Nisrine's voice mail 4/16/2025, 4/21/2025, 4/22/2025, 4/23/2025, 4/24/2025, 4/25/2025, 4/28/2025 and 4/29/2025. No responses. Also left two messages with her supervisor 4/22/2025 and 4/25/2025. No response. it has been over a year and 1/2 and I am still waiting on my claim checks for damages to the rental property and my furniture. This company subcontracts with another company that stored my household goods and furniture from October 2023 to November 2023 in Texas and another company delivered them, to me approximately 1 month later with water damages, scratches, gouges, etc. Also, they damaged the walls, doorways, and doors of a brand new home that I was renting, because they did not have padding to cover the door frame and door. Condor Moving System has not giving me compensation for my damage, after I have filed both my claims in 2023. I have called their customer service and accounting department's representatives numerous times for the past year and half which their responses are "They are working on it." When I tell you using Condor was one of the worst decisions I've ever made, I absolutely mean it. The lies and lack of professionalism from the company is mind blowing. Over 50% of our items were delivered broken, even the items they packed and promised us would be delivered safely. The delivery driver for our move hired people from Craigslist that had ZERO moving experience. They didn't have background checks or anything, just random people from the internet that had no idea what they were doing. Boxes were thrown off the truck, items were treated with no respect, and the office staff had nothing to say. They wouldn't take my calls or call me back. Honestly, I would rate this zero stars if I could and I beg you please do not use this service. I had my belongings moved from Dallas to Washington DC and included storage. When I received my goods, the mover demanded I pay more money than I was originally quoted for and intimidated me until I go to the ATM to give him more money. When I opened up my goods I found many of my items mishandled and damaged. I filled out a claim and received a response from Anthem Claims that they would pay me nothing for my damages. Currently, I'm awaiting arbitration for this to see if I can recoup any losses. I spoke to an employee named Deanna about my experience. Although sincere and apologetic, she offered to do nothing for me. She informed that Condor is essentially a moving broker that simply hires companies to do the moving for them. In other words, they really don't manage any of these employees or the companies themselves so they cannot be responsible for their actions. I received what was supposed to be a partial delivery for my father with the rest of his belongings going to another address. He recd a binding estimate via email that had both addresses, but the crew had a printed contract with just my address. Use at your own risk. Used Condor for a cross country move and had a number of issues with damaged and lost items. The claims process is heavily biased against the customer. The adjustors are pros at undervaluing lost/damaged items and do not move off their offer. The settlement amount they offerd for items we lost was an insult. In the end we had no choice but to accept their settlement. It has now been 6 months since we signed the settlement and still no funds or even a status on our clam. Do not trust what they say. If you use them be sure to have original receipts for all your belongings since they will require same for any claim. What a joke! Who saves receipts from years of accumulating belongings? AWFUL MOVING COMPANY. Condor was contracted for my move by my broker. I was wary about them because of the bad reviews but my broker promised me they've had no issues with Condor. WHAT A LIE. Not only did Condor accept a job they couldn't do, they were awful at communicating and following up. Their staff isn't required to be vaccinated but I was doing a NYC move which had a mandate at the time. Their movers couldn't even ENTER my condo minus one person. I ended up having to have condo staff help move stuff because they only had one qualified person who could move my things. Additionally, they lost SO MUCH of my stuff and damaged a ton of things. They even lost a bike tires (who needs 1 bike tire???). They also charged an extra fee to downsize to a smaller truck in the city which I was NOT informed of ahead of time. Furthermore their COI did not meet my condo's coverage requirements. I am not sure WHY they accepted this job if they did not meet the qualifications for it. Their mover was also TERRIBLE, kept asking for more money but barely did anything to help the move. He also didn't even bring a toolbox so he couldn't even help re-assemble furniture which is PART OF THE JOB. The staff at my condo took care of 90% of the move. Kinda disappointed in the company. Common courtesy guys. Step 1: scheduling was very easy. If you have LESS stuff than you estimate then you will be charged for estimate.. If you have MORE stuff then they will add on the extra fees for weight. Step 2: HIGHLY HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. The movers scheduled me for 2-4pm pick up, the movers didn't show up until the NEXT DAY! We had a great experience with Condor Moving Services. Nisrine estimated our move within our budget, and it actually came in under what she actually estimated. That helped as we were able to - in our eyes - save a little money based on what we had budgeted for the project. When it was time to close up our bill at the end, it was a nice surprise! The crew was led by Mario and he was very fast, very efficient, and knew exactly what to do with some of our high priority, fragile, and large items. You never want your crew to move slow and run out the clock, but you also don't want them to move too fast and break things. Mario and his crew did just the middle; they were like Chick-Fil-A in their efficiency and care with our items. The folks Mario brought with him were very polite and well behaved in our home and with our things. Their insurance carrier refused to cover the loss despite full value insurance policy from Condor. The truck driver they contracted for the move, not an actual employee as was promised to me over the phone but an independent contractor they had no oversight for, was a disgusting ingrate who didn't help with anything, broke furniture, drank my sodas, and made a mess of my new house's bathroom. Moved from Texas to Florida. They charged me additional money because they brought "more items" than those quoted. It is not true since they divided several items into several more. my moving estimate went from $12,000 to almost $20,000 on packing day. I paid for professional packing and got the equivalent of kindergarteners. I have moved over 20 times in my life, 11 of those complicated international moves. By far one of the worst moving companies ever!!! Per contract, we were told we they company would send out 3 men but on arrival there were only 2 men, with one of them looking sickly. Long story short, the entire move took close to 10hrs for a 2300 sq foot home. What a joke! It was the most frustrating move ever. Both movers seemed to roll their eyes at us whenever we instructed them on what needed to be packed up and loaded onto the truck. Both guys took frequent breaks (smoking breaks and lunch breaks).... which we ended up paying for, since they were on the clock from the time they arrived! Condor publicly responds to negative reviews to tell you to contact them so they can make things right. Here is what happened when I tried: They brushed us off for a full month with broken promises to get back to us. After the third time, I contacted them once more and Partner/Director Nisrine told me they had discovered that we weren't actually covered by the Full Value Replacement protection and thereby dismissed all of our concerns. As justification, she sent me a deceptively cropped screenshot of our first estimate that showed a line saying $0.00 for the minimal $0.60 per pound coverage. However, it conveniently cut off right before the document said we would select the actual coverage level on the Bill of Lading (where we clearly opted for Full Value Replacement). Nisrine also ignored the "superseding" estimate signed in-person by Condor's own foreman Jessie, which clearly included Full Value Replacement protection. That Condor's Partner/Director would make this blatant misrepresentation and their supposedly independent claims management company Anthem would go along with it speaks to both companies' disrespect for their customers, utter lack of ethics, and questionable competence. read more

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. They low ball the quote amount and then on the day of the move it changes. I gave complete parameters for our move. 4th Floor. 30 feet from elevator and 30 feet back out to street on 1st floor and exact items that were to be moved (there were fewer items left on the moving date as we had moved most smaller furniture & boxes ourselves, as well as all clothing, so I was expecting amount to decrease. Instead, they quoted me $1300.00, and on the morning of move, sales person called and said 'we need to upgrade your crew from 3 men to 4 men because it is hot in Texas and lot of the men called out). He stated that would change the rate from $215.00 per hour to $299.00 per hour; however, don't worry...the cost should even out at the end since with additional men, entire move should go faster. I said ok to that because he stated 'cost should even out at the end' and that made sense if they were using additional men. After loading everything and getting it to new location said they would not unload until I agreed to pay nearly $2,000.00. Basically held my items hostage on the truck until I agreed to pay the amount they now wanted. They said the move took longer than they anticipated, which made no sense because I had given complete and accurate information as to the items to move and it was less items that I had originally told them would be moved. The crew leader then called the company when they arrived at my new home with truck out front, and had who I think was the owner on the conference call with the sales person and me, standing at the front door while my items were still on the truck. Owner was the most rude and unprofessional (and bullying) type of individual I have ever encountered doing business with and that is really saying something as I own a business that works with incarcerated individuals. I should have read the on-line reviews before booking but booked them because their web site states they are PROFESSIONALS at MOVING GRANDFATHER CLOCKS, but sent no professional mover for Grandfather Clock. Crew handled the brass pendulums and weights with bare hands without gloves (which you never do as it passes oils, moistures and contaminates onto the brass and can never be removed) Now, the clock does not even work and it is a $5,000.00 clock that I must now hire an additional clock person to fix. Could have just used a regular mover they were dishonest saying they were professionals at moving those clocks. They also dismantled my corner desk unit and did not take pictures and then could not reassemble it (now have additional pieces they didn't know what to do with and desk is no longer sturdy and being held up by the piece next to it--solid oak and expensive set). I moved from New York all the way to Texas with no issues but a 3-mile move within the same city using CONDOR was a nightmare. Very disappointing experience and almost worse than the money was the rudeness of the owner (or regional manager); never gave his name. Basically blamed me for why they had to charge 30% more than quoted when I had provided complete and accurate information on furniture pieces to move, and elevator location, etc. provided specifically to avoid any issues. Read complaints at Better Business Bureau for further information and do business with them at your own risk. By far the worst mover I have ever used and I am in my 60's and have moved at least 10 times so that is saying something. SUMMARY - Beware...Each review on here has a response from Condor after writing their negative review basically saying, 'person's name, thank you for providing your valuable feedback...followed by sorry and then excuses or phone # for customer to call.' Condor, please don't bother with that response to this review. Your words mean nothing because your actions and the way you spoke to me by phone when bullying me into having to pay to get items off truck spoke for itself. They gave us a quote on the cost to move- after they moved all of our belongings out they then charged us an additional $3500 over what the estimate had said. I understand the quote is an estimate, but it should not be that far off. In addition to this, they did not show up the day they were supposed to move us out. They did arrive the following day- we were fortunate to have some flexibility in moving dates. When we requested delivery after moving, it took them almost 4 weeks to bring everything. Despite this being against the contract, we did not received the refund they are supposed to pay if they go over the agreed upon time. Further, they were very dishonest. Every time we called for an estimate on delivery, they would tell it would be shipped "within a few days." When they did finally bring everything to us, they hired local workers to help move everything in (rather than employees of the company). They did not assemble any of the beds (again, something that was in the contract). My furniture was delayed by nearly 2 weeks, past the estimated date, and for what reason? because the driver kept "running into issues". It turned into so much of an issue, that one of the managers "Maj" just gave me his number so I can deal with him directly. Finally when they came with my stuff, most of the boxes looked like they had been smashed. It looked like the truck had flipped over a couple of times on it's way! My TV screen was completely cracked, they left permanent damage to the couch and broke a bookshelf... all pictures included below. We moved with Condor from Texas to Nevada back in August, and we've had the worst experience with them. They lost and damaged a bunch of our furniture, didn't attempt to find any of the missing stuff, and then are trying to settle for 1/4th the cost of what we lost. They have a tie up with Anthem Claim Management who are just as bad! Their trick is to not accept responsibility for anything, give you hardly any money back, and then you don't have a say in their "final decision". They then tell you to go to arbitration if you have any issues with the claim, which is just another long winded approach to losing more of the claimed money. Condor Moving Systems threatened us, lied to us, tried to charge us $1600 extra for items we didn't have, and broke, lost, or - we believe - stole over $1000 worth of our possessions. I cannot warn you strongly enough to stay far, far away from this company. On pickup, once the truck was packed, the crew chief, David, came to us (myself and my partner) to review the inventory he'd created on a tablet/iPad, as well as the revised estimate and bill of lading. When we looked over his inventory, we found many items on his list that we didn't have. (Most notably, he had claimed on his inventory that we had 5 air hockey tables. We do not have any air hockey tables.) We asked him why he had listed the air hockey tables, and he said he did not know. We asked him why he put things on our inventory if he didn't know why they were there, and he said he didn't remember why he did that. He then asked us to sign the revised estimate and bill of lading. We reviewed these and found that he had said we used 272 cu. ft. beyond our initial estimate, yielding a total of 1,150 cu. ft. This yielded an additional charge of $1,632. We pointed out that by his own calculations, we had used 874 cu. ft., not 1,150. We asked him to explain the discrepancy on our revised estimate; he became angry, and threatened to take all of our items off of the truck if we didn't sign the documents. We were, at this point, less than 5 hours from the end of our lease, and obviously had no other way to move our items if David and his crew carried out their threat. Over the next two weeks, we called Condor Moving Systems repeatedly, informing them that their representative had threatened us unless we signed a false estimate. First, Condor's customer service representatives told us that it didn't matter if the estimate was false, because we had signed it. (This is not true: a signature obtained under duress is not legally binding.) Condor's representatives then said that our item count was higher than initially projected, and that this was the reason for the extra charges. However, the paperwork provided to us by Condor was very clear that they bill by the volume of goods, not their number, and when we mentioned this, Condor's representatives admitted that the number of goods has no impact on pricing. Condor's representatives repeatedly tried to justify their inflated pricing by claiming that their price structure worked differently than it actually does. On delivery, we found that over $1000 worth of our belongings had been either destroyed or lost. My camera tripod, valued at $550, had disappeared entirely. We suspect it may have been stolen, since it was the item with the highest resale value. My fiancee's bed frame, worth $291 at purchase, had been smashed to pieces with a hammer. In short, we lost over $1000 of our valued belongings, and we only avoided paying $1600 in fictitious charges because of our own persistence and careful documentation of Condor's behavior. Do not hire this company, and do not allow a moving broker to hire them on your behalf. They are not trustworthy or reliable, and your move will not be in safe hands. read more
