Do NOT go here if you want a drink and are under 30. They said my girlfriend's ID was a fake (we are 25) and wouldn't serve us. The manager shot us a smirk on the way out. This would be totally fair if the ID was actually fake. The issue is that we are 25 and this is a real ID that hasn't ever been denied at a restaurant or through TSA. They said it was flimsy and didn't have gloss (mind you, it was a real ID). A rude smirk and a false accusation of a fake was not how we intended to spend our night. Only reason I have two stars is because food was good at their other locations, so I assume the same will hold true here if you do not order a drink. Service was subpar....and don't come here looking for good Mexican-style food...it's just ok. Quite frankly, the burrito wasn't as even as good as Moe's, but definitely cost more. We went to Condado tacos late one night and it was empty. In fact, there were more people coming in just to pick up food then there was eating inside. I wasn't that hungry and it was late at night so I just ordered the kids taco. It was actually pretty spicy. Not what I would think of a kids taco. Vegetarian tacos review - I got 2 plant powered tacos, one with tofu and Thai sauce and the other was a vegan chorizo taco. The one with Thai sauce was out of the world. The flavor profile of this taco hit every taste bud in my mouth. The one with vegan chorizo tasted like an elevated version of taco bell chalupa. All tacos have a soft shell taco wrapped over a hard shell taco which has all the toppings. It was amazing cuz you get the crunch but it doesn't fall apart. We also got the street style corn. It tasted really good. It was served with homemade tortilla chips. I tried controlling myself to not eat a lot of chips but hey, it tasted so good! The interior decor was very artsy. I read somewhere that they invited a few local artists to make art on the walls and I must say it looked really good. The place is pretty casual yet modern. The lady who took our order was very sweet, made great recommendations and was patient with us as we were there for the first time. Parking- this east side location has plenty of parking by the restaurant, where as if you go to the one in downtown, that is not the case. I met some family for dinner today - they picked Condado, having eaten there before. The place was super cool, on the main drag in Anderson, plenty of parking. The interior is super cool and colorful and the menus is as well. Lots of gourmet tacos to choose from or you can build your own. Lots golf gluten free options. We started with fresh, warm, thick corn chips. With a thick queso and a side of guacamole. We were hardly finished before or order came. I ordered a build your own with brisket and some street corn - one taco was enough to fill me up. Everyone enjoyed their food and the ambiance was great. Really like this taco shop and their delicious bowls. They have many vegan options which makes me happy. The place has indoor and outdoor seating. This location is conveniently located across the street from the entrance to the Great American ballpark. Which is awesome when going to a game or leaving a game. I feel like Condados has lost their spark. I originally tried it around 10 years ago in Columbus. When this location opened on Beechmont, I told my husband that we had to go. The service was good but the food was all around disappointing. We haven't returned. read more

If you've read my reviews by now, you KNOW I have a certain fondness for good tacos. I mean, who DOESN'T like tacos?! And after going to a couple other Condado locations, I had some rather high expectations for this one. Did they meet them? I'd certainly say so, especially for a visit during Cincinnati Taco Week, which made it even better ($2.50 Hot & Kewl tacos). On this visit, I went with a co-worker who never went to one before, so he was curious about the place. The place was pretty cool, decorated the way you'd expect Condado to be, very eclectic and unique. Lots of seating indoors and a very nice outdoor seating area. We started with some chips and queso which was very tasty. As for our tacos, they offered Hot & Kewl tacos on either firecracker or Kewl ranch shell with your choice of protein; soy chorizo, ground beef, or grilled chicken and a choice of sauce, dirty sauce or cilantro garlice sauce. I order three firecracker shell, one of each protein, and both sauces on the side. My co-worker ordered two grilled chicken on firecracker and one ground beef on kewl ranch with sauces on the side. Everything was very delicious and the dirty sauce definitely had a great kick. Plus our server was fantastic. She was very helpful and friendly the entire time. Expectations absolutely met! Spent $30 for the only part to look good was the queso, totally ridiculous and will not be ordering takeout again. We threw the whole order out and got pizza instead. I wish I could rate the food at this establishment but I did not get that far. I am so incredibly disappointed. I placed an order on Sunday evening and was told online that it would be ready at about 6:45 PM. I waited until 6:50 PM to get to the store and went inside to the hostess and asked if my order was ready. I was told that they were slammed. Yes, I get it. The restaurant is new and staff is probably getting used to procedures. So I thought I would give them some extra time to get my order ready. I stood by the hostess station and after an additional 10 minutes asked if I could get an update on when my order will be ready. One of the hostesses went in the back, came back to me and said they were slammed and it would be ready as soon as possible. At this time the restaurant was perhaps 3/4 full. I waited another 10 minutes listening to the hostesses whine about customers, and working there. Politely asked again if I could have some idea when order would ever ready. Again she disappeared and came back telling me kitchen was slammed. Order would be ready when it was ready. Trying to be patient, after another 10 minutes passed, I politely asked the same question. Then the hostess said I was "harassing " her. WOW. Confusing questions of status of order with harassment, I was gobsmacked. Asked to speak to manager to cancel order. He came out a few minutes later and said he would cancel it. No apology, nothing. Waste of an hour and a half of my day. Horrid customer service, avoid like the plague. read more

We're pretty regular at the Anderson location and always sit at the bar with our favorite bartender/server Zoe. We choose Olivia when Zoe is not working and Jamie, the Manager, always makes a point to check on us so needless to say when you add that service to a very reasonably priced menu you can't go wrong! The build your own tacos feature is cool, but when I tried one of their featured tacos, the chicken bacon ranch, I thought it was way too salty. It is worth noting that to get enough food to actually make you full (at least two tacos or one taco bowl per person and a side of chips for every 2 to 3 people) is QUITE expensive.
