I tried everything--reseating the CPU, replacing thermal paste, checking all the cables and connections--and still got nothing. My PC wouldn't post, not even the BIOS would load. I needed to take my PC to the doctor. At first, I considered going through the warranty process, but that would've meant a long wait and dealing with an RMA (which, trust me, you do not want to deal with). After exhausting all my options, I brought my rig to Computer Repair LV--and I'm so glad I did. I dropped it off at 11am, and by the next day, my system was ready to come home. They ran diagnostics, reflashed the BIOS, and did it all without wiping my drives or losing a single file. That kind of attention to detail is rare. You can tell they're passionate about their work, and I completely trust them with my setup. I even slapped their magnetic business card on my fridge the second I got home--because I know I'll be going back anytime I need work done. They even followed up with me on Messenger, clearly explaining what I needed to do to keep everything running smoothly. Seriously, 100/10 service.

I was excited to have my work done as fast as they promised, until I learned their promises are as reliable as the Federal government. FWIW, I had 9 company systems needing cleaning, updates, repair. We don't have internal IT, and the person who was doing our IT has retired. We had been told Supertech was the place to turn. We were told wrong, and that was clear in the first minutes of conversation. NO ONE. NO ONE likes being hanged up on mid-sentence. I was asking a question and the person who answered the phone hanged up on me after telling me they didn't have the RAM I was seeking. I also needed SSD's for all 9 computers. Perhaps the owner could have *listened* and perhaps asked a question before blowing off another business that spends steep on hardware for our work in the survey and drone industry. We *try* to buy local and access local services, but with this sort of dismissal, we'll go out of our way to avoid them. Shortly after I left this review, the business tracked me down and began harassing me over text (They had my number from Caller ID) Definitely a place to avoid. Passive aggressive reeks from this place. NO ONE. NO ONE likes being hanged up on mid-sentence. Under any circumstances. Another dealer in Henderson was thorough, asking all the right questions, and although they don't take tradeins on RAM (We have 300GB of RAM to trade-in towards 600GB of RAM) they helped us find a place who does buy RAM, and they have ordered the 9 sets of Crucial 64GB. Trading in 1900.00 towards $4500.00 was good for them.

I get there and ask how much again, he tells me $217 I say what, he says for taxes. He is still trying to get me to pay for this battery I said I didn't want. What a crook. Of course there is labor but just lying and trying to make me pay for something I don't want. I would try other places and use them as a last resort. Found Shaun at Dr Tech PC through Google and Yelp, and I'm really glad I did. My computer had been dealing with slow boot times and weird hiccups for a while, and I honestly had no idea what was causing it. Shaun dug deep and found the real issue: my SSD had some serious corruption going on along with a blown up startup file. Stuff I never would've caught on my own. He got it sorted out and running the way it should. On top of that, he installed a brand new second SSD for me to use for AI and LLM training, which was huge since I've been getting more into that side of things. While he was in there he also optimized my system (about a 10% performance boost on top of everything), got all my fans running off a single program instead of a mess of different software, and even reorganized my components so some ports that had stopped working were usable again. He also threw in a few recommendations for things I could do down the line to keep my PC running well. Had my computer back in 24 hours, pricing felt fair for everything he did, and he explained things in a way that actually made sense instead of just throwing jargon at me. Shaun's professional, honest, and just a genuinely good guy to deal with. I'm already planning on bringing my laptop in next.
