What should have been a quick and simple diagnostic turned into a month and a half ordeal due to the technician misdiagnosing my issue and sending me on a wild goose chase getting my motherboard replaced under warranty when it was actually an issue with the CPU (which he didn't realize because he admitted to never testing for CPU issues during the first diagnostic; apparently he didn't feel like ordering a spare CPU to test). Shockingly, the technician actually tried to convince me I should have to pay the diagnostic fee twice since he had to look at the PC again after swapping the motherboard didn't fix the issue, only to then figure out it was actually a CPU issue. He eventually relented after I said I wouldn't leave a good review if he tried to double charge me and I thought that would be the end of the ordeal, but upon picking up my PC I noticed they had dented the heat sink on my graphics card. The technician denied all responsibility, saying "I don't remember doing that"... So I emailed the owner of the store with before and after pictures showing the damage and he was completely unapologetic, dismissing all responsibility as well. Interestingly, the shop makes you sign a document stating that they are not responsible for any damage to your pc when it's in their possession, likely because of issues like this. After what they put me through, I would NOT recommend trusting them with your valuable PC.

I arrived unannounced, but only had a very short wait before Mike was ready to help me. He was personable, relatable, very easy to talk to. He did not talk over me, and provided me with a lot of useful information. In short order he had my computer up and running. The fees were very reasonable, ESPECIALLY when you take into consideration the absolute necessity of having a reliable computer, and also consider the cost of a new computer and the nuisance of having to set up a new computer. I brought my…read morecomputer in because it was acting up and was attended to by Gregg, some older man with an undone shirt looking very unprofessional. I explained that my computer was acting up and being slow and he didn't ask any questions. After i left my computer there (stupid mistake), the next day he called me and said nothing was wrong with the computer but that he found bad sectors on the hard drive. He suggested replacing the hard drive, even after saying that he could find nothing wrong at all with the computer. He also did a system restore to a previous date without informing me or asking for my permission. When i got my computer back it was still slow as hell. I don't know about any of the other employees but what i got was TERRIBLE service. If you are a professional then you should be able to find what is wrong with my computer (i had it back one day and found out the CPU was heating up). I emailed them and got no reply. I even texted the manager and they ignored me. There are only two conclusions I can come to here. Either they are extremely incompetent or are liars and want to take your money. DO NOT go here. There is a better place down Wurzbach called All Systems Go that won't even charge you for a diagnosis and actually find out whats wrong.. (ACS charged me 45 dollars for a diagnosis). Some people are not very knowledgeable about computers and assume paying hundreds of dollars to replace things is a fair deal. IT IS NOT. No place should EVER charge you more than 60 dollars to replace a part that you pay for. If they do they are completely taking advantage to you. Avoid this place.
