Need to buy a used computer for a friend and wanted to check with the owner/manager on what, if any, my options are on remotely purchasing one and having them come pick it. I understand the risks of taking credit card transactions over the phone so I wanted to see if it is an option, and if not if they would accept Venmo, CashApp etc.. anything because I am trying to help a friend. I did not want to explain all this twice or go thru the process of picking something out only to say No at the end but "Tim" (who very well may have been the manager or owner) was very shady, not letting me know if I could talk to the manager or owner. When I explained that I was not feeling it because of how he was behaving and I was thinking about taking my business elsewhere he said "You do that" and hung up. 100% negative vibe from this place... however, I will admit everyone has a bad day and I just caught who would usually be a very helpful person at a bad time. I mostly use my ALLinONE desktop as a second screen for work and sometimes I use it for my music. Upon the entire hard drive failing I noticed it had been extremely slow which is why I stopped using it so much. My cpu crashed on Sunday and this great established was one of few open. I recently had my PC serviced by this company. At first i thought it was rude and odd that the guy at the front desk did not seem to have any patience and just wanted to take my PC in, he didnt even want to listen to me explain what my issue was throughly even though i had taken videos to show them and SS's of my Specs. They ordered/changed a part which came out to $175. Their warranty was 30 days. Exactly 2 days after the warranty for the store, I had the same issue pop up, my PC/monitor was restarting by itself. I remessaged the guy that "helped" me but was left on read. So what they changed did not solve my issue, makes me think I paid and bought a new part for nothing. I also asked for a maintenance check and to pay to get it cleaned. The guy said it looked fine and didnt need cleaning although its what I wanted, i got my OC back with dust/debris still throughout the case. They were fast but fast does not equal good quality service. And now i gotta take my PC somewhere else. read more

It was in my neighborhood and not only was the communication fantastic, the turn around time on my laptop screen repair was fast and I was quoted accurately on the price (which was very reasonable!) and the return date of the repair. I really like All Systems Go for virus/spyware removal and addressing system and hardware problems on Microsoft XP or Vista. I give them all of our PC-flavored machines to service. They're honest, keep their agreements, and even try to save me money. Their shop is funky and grimy in that way geeky hardware-focused shops tend to be. If the shop is too nice and new-seeming, the folks love your money more than they love your hardware :) They sell used stuff, including peripherals, and build new clone machines with either Intel or AMD chips, to your specs and needs. They don't sell you more than you need. Again, that honesty. They offer both in-shop repair/service and onsite work - onsite is of course more expensive, about double. Last time I checked it was $35/hr for in-shop and $70 for onsite - but check with them. Save yourself hours of frustration and let them help on a sticky issue or install. It's WORTH IT. They downgraded one of our Vista machines back to XP, tracked down a copy of XP from Dell that we were entitled to - they know the manufacturers, their deals, the ins and outs. For Mac work, try MacTLC or MacStuff. Both sell used and new equipment as well, both honest and knowledgable. read more

Its not often that you can drop off your comp for repair and actually get the job done correctly.. The guys at All Systems Go are absolutely fantastic. Computer was not turning on, I was informed I had fried my motherboard and it would cost in the $200.00 range to fix/labor. I received a call a few days later explaining that not only was that the price incorrect, they found the REAL issue..my CPU pins were bent. These guys could have easily let me believe it was the Motherboard and I would have happily paid the price, but they didn't do that. Instead I was charged for labor, and a new CPU at $90.00. This is why I conduct all PC repairs exclusively with All Systems Go. You should too. read more

My 9 year old Dell Laptop was nearly about to crash. Fan going out, battery almost out and my PC was running as slow as molasses. I left it with them and they cleaned it up, did a virus scan and it's running much quicker now. Sad to say but it's time to trash this laptop. They told me it would be worth transferring all of my data and files to an external hard drive and buying a new PC rather than buying new parts to fix my current one. I would recommend their services to anyone in need of IT help. My micro sd card on my phone failed and I was afraid I had lost all of the pictures of my now-toddler. Dropped off my laptop because I was getting an error message. The owner came out to chat when I picked up my device. He wasn't able to fix it because it needed work on the logic board and he said he doesn't provide that work. He referred me to another company and didn't charge me for the diagnostic which is normally a fee regardless of the work needed. I didn't even buy anything or pay for any services here. After having them look at my computer for a day the least i can do is write a good review for them. I had figured that my CPU was overheating but i wasn't sure why. They deduced that my heatsink had broken and called me and explained what kind of heatsink i would need. They charged me nothing for it. The following day I my computer didn't turn on (after i had installed the new heatsink after picking it up from their store). A guy there said hey bring it in (two hours after hey had closed) and checked out the wires and saw that i had forgotten to press a wire back in after i had wiggled it. It turned on and he charged me nothing for it. They also offered 60 dollars to replace the heatsink withthe one i bought. I declined but that is a fair deal considering you have to completely take the computer apart. I almost forgot, after removing the heatsink after they had had it a while i found a very poor thermal paste job on the CPU. Other than that it was great service. I'll go here again. read more

My son's laptop with all his college data would turn on but not boot up. Of course we were in panic mode because it's the end of the semester and he needs access to data on this computer. I selected All Systems Go based on Yelp reviews. I called Tim the next morning and he said he could do a preliminary check when I brought it in. Well that was not successful to solving the issue but Tim assured me he would have a recommendation by early afternoon and he felt he could save the data too. Later that day we went in and Tim said it was beyond repair but he was able to save all the data and load it on a flash drive. He saved the day! He understood the urgency of a college student. I paid $40 for labor and $13 for the flash drive. I was very happy with his service. The other thing is they are open on Sat and Sundays where as many other computer places aren't. It is close to UTSA too. Highly recommend. read more
