I rarely do reviews, but our experience with The Computer Shop was outstanding and deserves a five-star review. First, they listened to our needs and issues in person at their brick-and-mortar store. Then a very knowledgeable representative came out to set up our new desktop with ease and according to our needs. In a few cases, we were shown easier ways to accomplish our tasks. I needed help with my Laptop while I was on a business trip. I needed my Laptop to get back on the road. Steven at the Computer Shop was heading out on a service call and seemed to be in a rush to get it done. He stopped and greeted me so kindly. He took the time to answer some questions I had. Then less that 20 minutes later I was back on the road. He showed me how to fix it if it happened again so not to delay my business trip any longer than it had and I would love to say " SERVICE WITH A SMILE" was exactly what I got! Great crew too. I brought my printer in so they hooked up my new laptop to it , also downloaded all the stuff off of my old computer onto it & it took Seth like 2 hours to get my picture I had on my old computer to my new one!!! THE COMPUTER SHOP is the the only place I will take, or purchase my computers. I found them after I purchased a new computer from Best Buy a couple of years earlier. I took my computer back to Best Buy because it needed to be serviced. After returning three different times all they wanted to really do is sell me a new computer. I then took my computer to THE COMPUTER SHOP, and they repaired it, and informed me that I didn't need to purchase a new one at all. I then needed a second computer for work and ended up purchasing a rebuilt computer from THE COMPUTER SHOP and it works perfectly. I had my laptop serviced here for a corrupt hard drive. They were able to fix it on time, and were able to pull my windows key off the old one, so that I didn't need to purchase it again. This is my first visit to The Computer Shop. After searching the web thoroughly and checking with BBB, I decided to take a chance with this business. I took my PC in for repairs. First, the shop reception area is clean and well organized. There's a large white board on the wall with their menu of services and prices. The gentleman who assisted me was very pleasant and LISTENED to me without interruption. I appreciated this. After I explained my issues, he gave me an estimate of what the repair cost would be, along with an explanation of what would be done. About 4 hours later I received a call from one of the techs, who gave me an update and also informed me that one of my issues wasn't actually a problem at all. I really appreciated that, as they could have easily sold me something I didn't need. Today, I received a call from an employee to inform me that my PC was ready for pickup. I went in and again was greeted by a very courteous employee. I paid my bill and was on my way. My PC is running great and back online again. I would highly recommend The Computer Shop and will definitely return to them in the future. Btw, they also have an excellent rating with the BBB and have been in business since 1997. I had the tech come out to my home. They set up my new printer and installed an anti virus on my computer. He was very helpful, and completed the job with in an hour. So I was very happy with my bill at the end of the job. No hidden fees or up charges, was charged the exact amount I was told over the phone. read more

DON'T USE THIS SHOP. They fixed my PC however now I have no virus software. Don't return calls and when I finally got through their advice was to download again. It wasn't free software. The attitude of the consultant was disgusting. read more

The highest praise I can offer is this: They let me feel like I have my own IT department. Results count: Look at the people leaving the shop with their equipment ... they are smiling and happy. Steven and the Computer Shop folk will take your issues and needs into consideration, including security or information privacy compliance. I had HD failure; they restored, and then, in consult, replaced the C with a solid state drive for the opsys, then moved the old (repaired) HD into data storage ... so now, it flies (booting Windows in no time!) and got big ol' hardrive for archiving, fatter than ever now that it doesn't host the opsys or software.
