What should have been a quick and simple diagnostic turned into a month and a half ordeal due to the technician misdiagnosing my issue and sending me on a wild goose chase getting my motherboard replaced under warranty when it was actually an issue with the CPU (which he didn't realize because he admitted to never testing for CPU issues during the first diagnostic; apparently he didn't feel like ordering a spare CPU to test). Shockingly, the technician actually tried to convince me I should have to pay the diagnostic fee twice since he had to look at the PC again after swapping the motherboard didn't fix the issue, only to then figure out it was actually a CPU issue. He eventually relented after I said I wouldn't leave a good review if he tried to double charge me and I thought that would be the end of the ordeal, but upon picking up my PC I noticed they had dented the heat sink on my graphics card. The technician denied all responsibility, saying "I don't remember doing that"... So I emailed the owner of the store with before and after pictures showing the damage and he was completely unapologetic, dismissing all responsibility as well. Interestingly, the shop makes you sign a document stating that they are not responsible for any damage to your pc when it's in their possession, likely because of issues like this. After what they put me through, I would NOT recommend trusting them with your valuable PC.

He ended up destroying her very expensive graphics card, AND her motherboard. Then charged me $75 to do so! The proof it was working when I gave it to him was he texted my daughter once he got it running that "her" photo on the desktop was cute (CREEPY!) & the hard drive has never been removed from the tower because it's still ziptied in w/ all original cables still connected. This guy behaves as if he is mentally unstable & tells one lie after another & has NO CLUE what he is doing. He also likes to overinflate his importance in the community by making a point of saying he works in DOD and the police. He does tech support, he's not IN the police or the DOD! He also kept insisting the graphics card & motherboard was broken when it was given to him, it wasn't! If it had been he couldn't have gotten the desktop to open up while it was all still connected & seen her desktop image to even comment that it was "cute" (again CREEPY!) He had NO business even going into the operating system, he just needed to do the BIOS but he asked my daughter for her password & she didn't realize what he was doing with it. He then proceeded to "update" all her drivers & things she NEVER asked him to do. He was getting into things he had NO business getting in to. & in doing so, he destroyed her motherboard and graphics card. He insisted on telling my daughter she was foolish for paying so much for a computer, & that she was the one that damaged it, even though he proved it was actually functioning by his creepy comments about the photo. She explained exactly what she did, which was nothing but open the case & look at it. She was going to attempt to pull out the graphics card & put another one in so she could see on the monitors to change the BIOS back, but when she saw the clip wasn't going to give way she didn't want to break it so she stopped & contacted him to fix it. She did NOTHING but look at it, didn't remove the card or anything. He did that 3 TIMES b4 he broke it. All he had to do was revert the BIOS back, & he instead fried it. He claimed twice he was returning it to us in the same condition he received it, but it's not if he's fried two pieces of hardware that were working fine & not damaged prior to giving it to him. He kept lying & insisting over & over she damaged it when she didn't even have it! & then denying he did anything wrong. He was hitting on her and she got upset over it so he thought he'd try to smooth things over by fixing things she didn't ask for. I ended up having to call Walter for trying to hit on my daughter & scaring her to death because he had access to everything on her computer & God only knows what he did! There is ONE review for this guy that is positive, & that was NOT our experience. He is a liar & has NO idea what he is doing. Claims he's been doing this for 25 years, but that's a rookie mistake to fry two components if you're THAT seasoned. He also attempted to try to say that because she didn't know what something was with the computer that it meant she damaged it. Like that even makes any sense. She never said she knew how to fix it, if she did sure wouldn't have called this guy to be treated like she was. Facts are, she tried to upgrade to Windows 11 & it made her change her bios. When she did, the graphics card quit displaying anything on her monitors. She just asked to have it reverted back. He then started trying to tell her he was going to fix it up better than new & she'd be very happy when he was done. Well none of us are happy, & you likely won't be either! He originally told her he'd have it done same day (we dropped off early Friday), & then didn't bother to even contact her anything about it until the next day (Saturday). Then kept it for another day (Sunday) after that while he continued to "work" on it. If it was damaged when he got it, how was he able to work on it 3 days before he realized "she" had damaged it? That was his own choice to keep 3 days & he thinks he is entitled to his repair fee ($75) for costing her a fortune to have to replace what he destroyed. Based on what he did to my daughter's computer this guy is NOT QUALIFIED TO BE WORKING ON ANYONE'S COMPUTERS. & he has no personal responsibility! He is so worried about collecting his precious $75 for the $1000+ damage he has done. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID AND TRUST HIM WITH ANYTHING! He's a liar & completely creepy hitting on a young girl that he's supposed to be fixing her computer! AVOID HIM unless you want to be ripped off too! See evidence below on invoice. Save your threats, Walter! Be glad we didn't sue you for a new computer that YOU destroyed! We still can! Now he has his friend emailing me threats that wasn't even a party to ANY of what transpired!
